When we got to Alaska we went to the Denali covens house. Dad said we would be staying there until we got our own place. Cousin Eleazar and his mate Carmen were waiting outside to greet us. As we pulled up cousins Irina, Kate and Tanya came out of the house. I jumped out of the car and ran to hug Kate happily. "Kate, I have missed you" I said, then I saw the rest of the coven looking disappointed. "I missed all of you too" as soon as I said that, I was in a big group hug with my cousins. My family were no help they just stood there and laughed. "Thank you for the kitten, I named him Denali after your coven" I told them once I was free and we were inside. Carmen had made me a hot chocolate and Denali is to scared to come out of his cage.

"You didn't have to do that Eva, but we are honored you did" cousin Eleazar said. Everything was unpacked and in the rightful rooms. I'll be in my own room, because I used to sleepover here when the whole family went hunting or there was trouble. I yawned, Eleazar noticed "I think it is time you went to bed little one" he said. I tried to protest wanting to catch up more, but everyone agreed and Aunt Alice took me to my room.

(next morning)

I woke excited to spend the day with my whole family, we were going skiing. Tanya is going to help me as I have never done it before. I had a warm shower and changed into some warm clothes with matching black scarf, beanie and gloves. Everyone was in the kitchen and Grandma made me breakfast, which was some bacon and toast. After I was finished we all headed to the nearest ski resort. I went in Kate's car with her and Tanya, we all caught up on what has happened since we last saw each other. I told them of my life in Forks and about my best friends.

When we got there Tanya went through some basics with me, whilst everyone else went to the top of the mountain. When Tanya said I was ready we took the lift to the top of the mountain. We saw Aunt Alice and Uncle Jasper skiing down the mountain already. They made it look easy and effortless. Tanya strapped me into her ski's and got behind me strapping herself in. And then we were off I just had to keep my knees bent and leaned with her to change direction.

At the bottom everyone was us come down the mountain and clapped when we were in front of them. Afterwards I started to build a snowman with Grandma and Grandpa. Suddenly a snowball hit the back of Grandpas head and Grandma & I laughed. Then we got hit by snowballs thrown by Dad and Aunt Alice. "You are going down!" I shouted throwing a snowball at Dad. In the end it was a fight between both covens and my family won.

When we got back to the house Carmen told me to change into dry warm clothes, whilst she made me another hot chocolate. I came downstairs and saw that Eleazar had started a fire. I seat in between Mum and Dad once I got my hot chocolate from Carmen. We just talked for the rest of the day before I eat and went to bed after Kate read me a story about the sea.
