NO ONE'S POV:

(We see the McKay brothers on their way to the carnival.)

McKay: I didn't know you were so chivalrous.

(Y/N): I wouldn't go that far. All I did was open the door for her and walk her to the door.

McKay: That's what being chivalrous is, dude.

(Y/N): Oh.

McKay: Anyways, what do you and Lexi have planned for tonight?

(Y/N): I am going to meet her best friend and her sister.

McKay: Meeting her friends, that's a big step.

(Y/N): Right? Glad you agree. I'd rather just hang out with her but I'm sure there will be time for that.

McKay: I feel that.

(Y/N): How about you and Cassie?

McKay: Pretty much the same as you without the extra people.

(Y/N): Nice, nice. I'm honestly surprised you survived initiation. Frat initiations can be something from what I hear.

McKay: And the movies/shows you watched?

(Y/N): That too. Primarily that.

McKay: If it wasn't for Cassie, I wouldn't have survived.

(Y/N): Good thing you brought her then.

McKay: Yeah. You can find your own way home right?

(Y/N): Of course. I can walk, I need the cardio.

McKay: [chuckles] Yes, the cardio.

(Cut to Y/N walking up to Lexi, Rue, & Gia.)

(Y/N): Ladies.

Lexi: (Y/N)!

(She kisses him on the cheek, holds his hand, & introduces him.)

Lexi: Rue, Gia. This is (Y/N). My boyfriend.

(Y/N): Nice to meet you both.

Rue: Boyfriend, huh? You hear that, Gia?

Gia: I did.

Rue: So you're the guy who's been sitting with her at lunch.

Lexi: You noticed that?

Rue: Of course I did. You two must be getting serious if we're meeting you.

Lexi: I guess.

(Y/N): I mean, technically, I'm meeting your sister. The three of us have a class together.

Rue: Yeah, yeah. Let's get going.

(They walk towards a six shooter type game where Rue loses.)

[BELL RINGS]

Rue: Fuck.

Lexi: You wanna go on the Gravitron?

Rue: Uh, no.

Lexi: The Ferris wheel.

Rue: Nope.

Lexi: Why?

Rue: Because I don't wanna die.

(Y/N): It's just a Ferris wheel. You afraid of heights?

Rue: Maybe. Maybe not.

Lexi: What do you wanna do, (Y/N)?

(Y/N): As long as I'm with you, I'm good.

(They continue to walk around the carnival until Jules runs up to Rue.)

Jules: [squealing] Hi.

Rue: Hey.

Jules: I missed you.

Rue: I missed you, too.

Gia: Um, I think she's in love with her.

Lexi: Really?

Gia: Yeah, like...Rue is in love with Jules, I think.

(Y/N): That's...adorable. Is that the right word to use?

Lexi: Yeah.

Jules: Are you mad at me?

Rue: No. No, no. Are you mad at me?

Jules: No.

Rue: Okay.

Gia: Don't you think?

(Y/N): Definitely getting "love" vibes.

Lexi: I hadn't really thought about it.

Gia: Oh. I don't know.

Rue: Can we just pretend like what I did wasn't super-weird?

Jules: It wasn't weird. It--

Rue: It was weird, but...we don't have to talk about it.

Jules: Talk about what?

Rue: Nothing.

Jules: Right. [laughs]

Gia: Do you love (Y/N)?

Lexi & (Y/N): What?

Gia: It's a simple question.

Lexi: Gia!

(Y/N): You, uh, don't have to answer that. We just started dating so...[chuckles awkwardly]

Gia: Sorry. [chuckles] Anyway, I'm gonna go catch some friends.

Lexi: All right.

Gia: Okay.

(She walks away as Lexi looks at Rue & Jules chatting away. Y/N seizes this opportunity & starts pulling Lexi away.)

(Y/N): Hey. You wanna...?

Lexi: *smiles* Absolutely.

(Rue & Jules are too busy continuing to chat away to notice them walk away.)

Lexi: Anything in particular you want to do since you have me to yourself?

(Y/N): Ferris wheel. But first...[sniffs] I smell chili.

(Cut to them walking beside chili booths until they stop at the Jacobs' Family chili booth.)

Cal: Battler McKay.

(Y/N): Still deciding on a nickname, Mr. Jacobs. But I do like the sound of that.

Cal: You're here for some chili, aren't you?

(Y/N): Yes, sir.

Cal: How about your girl?

Lexi: No thanks.

Cal: I saw your brother earlier.

(Y/N): Cool.

Cal: I heard about your most recent fight. Winning the belt and keeping your undefeated record going. I'm impressed.

(Y/N): Appreciate the kind words.

(He hands Y/N some chili.)

Cal: You know Nate, right?

(Y/N): I do.

Nate: What's up?

(Y/N): Sup.

(Nate walks over to them.)

Nate: So the McKay brothers and the Howard sisters.

Lexi: *looks down*

(Y/N): Yup.

Nate: You two in a relationship?

(Y/N): We are.

Nate: [scoffs] I hope for your sake she's not like her sister.

Lexi: Meaning?

Nate: Meaning--

(Y/N): I'm gonna stop you right there, Nate. Don't disrespect my brother's girl and if I catch you doing it again...

(He looks at Lexi.)

(Y/N): It won't end well for you.

Nate: Okay, (Y/N), okay.

(Lexi & him walk away from the booth.)

Nate: Enjoy the rest of the carnival!

(Cut to the couple on the Ferris wheel.)

Lexi: Hey, (Y/N)?

(Y/N): Yeah?

Lexi: Thanks, about back there. For defending my sister.

(Y/N): It was my pleasure. Trust me. I'm gonna tell you a secret about me.

Lexi: What?

(Y/N): I really don't like Nate. Like, at all.

Lexi: But your brother...?

(Y/N): He's my brother's friend. There's just something about him. I try to avoid him. But, enough about him. Heh.

(He looks up at the stars. As he's doing that, Lexi leans her head on his shoulder resulting in Y/N kissing the top of her head.)

Like 30 Minutes Later

(We see Y/N walking Lexi home. Though, more accurately he's walking beside her as she slowly rides her bike.)

Lexi: Are you sure that you don't want me to call you a Uber?

(Y/N): Yeah. You're doing me a favor. I need the cardio.

Lexi: Gotta stay in fighting shape.

(Y/N): You get it.

Lexi: Hm.

(She suddenly bikes faster.)

(Y/N): Hey! [laughs] Slow down!

(The camera pans up as we see Y/N chase after Lexi.)
