the truth untold.
She called him her fate. The stars, the planets, the universe moved in harmony to let them be one. She knew there was always a plan in the constellations, one just for her. She thought she was filled to the brim until she realized how empty her life felt without his laughter.
Her fate.
He called her his light. The light that shone on his face every time she looked at him with those electric eyes of hers. (oh how the stars shone so brightly in her eyes) She pierced his heart until all he could care to think about was her. His initial fear, pride, worries drifted away on boats until nothing was left on the pastel horizon.
She didn't have to waste never-ending tears, wondering why nothing could be right.
He didn't have to protect himself in iron gates, hiding behind his mask and clothes and smile.
She didn't have to pretend everything was the way it was meant to be when in her mind, she knew how wrong everything was.
He didn't have to hide his loneliness, how it had left scars where his heart was meant to love and where forsaken ivy had made its garden.
But they had love, and that was more than enough.
