I'm tired of this repeated seesaw game."

Rein met with the costume designer the next day and was pleased to find out that she was a friendly woman who still had a passion for her work.

Rein arrived at 6:30 AM on the dot once again, still trying to keep her eyes open as the costume designer handed her a hanger. On it was a lacy bodysuit and a black silk blazer, pastel flowers adorning the sides for extra flair.

Rein held it up and raised her eyebrow.

"Is this... What I'm supposed to wear?" she asked, looking the piece of clothing up and down. It was black and a little sheer in some areas, the neckline lined with floral patterns and dipping to the end of her breastbone. She never would have picked out for herself even in her wildest dreams. However, she wasn't opposed to the idea of wearing it.

"Along with this," the costume designer said, handing her a pair of lace-lined stilettos and a shackle collar, with at least three feet of chain attached to it. Rein held it up, trying to keep the shock out of her face.

Is this a BDSM marketing tactic...

"You should try it on to see if it fits," the designer added with a smile, gesturing to the nearby dressing room. "I will help you with the collar when you come out." Rein nodded, hesitant. The outfit wasn't what she expected, especially from BTS. She had expected something much more modest or bright, like the direction Bighit was going in until now.

Sex sells, I suppose.

Rein went into the dressing room and slipped into the bodysuit and blazer, looking at herself in the mirror. It fit to show off as much cleavage as possible, and it flattered her curves nicely.

She strapped on her heels and walked out, holding the blazer around her front in a bashful manner. The costume designer clapped her hands together, eyes sparkling as if to signal that everything was coming together perfectly.

"Oh, yes. Very, very good," she said as she looked at Rein from different angles. Rein pursed her lips, looking around for anyone she recognized. The boys had gone into the dressing rooms before her, holding white and black suits.

She tried to hide her anticipation, but the costumes were her favorite part of a music video, and it would be fun seeing the boys in formal attire.

Kim Namjoon in a suit.

Can I shut off my brain for, like, one second?

Rein started to look around for a chair to sit in when they came out.

They were fallen angels, exalted devils who were clothed in velvet, embroidered silk, and flowing blouses that were sheer in all the right places. Her breath hitched as her eyes fell on Namjoon.

He had shackles on his arms and dragged his chains behind him with a grace she was almost envious of. He sported black, tight pants and a black suit jacket speckled with silver paisley designs. The others wore variations of the same color scheme, reminding her of a dark garden of thorns.

When Namjoon spotted her, his eyes widened, looking her up and down. He wasn't discreet about his surprise.

"Rein... You..." he sputtered, searching for appropriate words to say in his head. "The, uh, hm," was all he could say. Rein laughed politely, trying not to cringe at the awkwardness between them, which hadn't gotten any better after the day before.

"Eloquently said, Mr. Kim," she said with a delicate smile. Jin and Taehyung stared, though Jin at least tried to be discreet about it, while Taehyung gawked at her open-mouthed. Jimin and Jungkook peeked over Namjoon's shoulders, curious, while Yoongi gave her a bored (but slightly impressed) once-over.

"You sure clean up nice, don't you?" Jin said. She flipped her hair over her shoulder.

"Oh, like I didn't look this good before?" Namjoon looked away, clearing his throat, Yoongi clasping him on the shoulder.

"Don't have such a 'hard' time now," he murmured, loud enough for Rein to hear, a devilish smirk ghosting his lips. Namjoon groaned, a light blush dusting his cheeks and ears, but he made no effort to shove Yoongi off.

Well, his pants do look tight, Rein thought with a snicker. As she was about to say something, Manager Sejin waved at them, making everyone abandon the conversation to crowd around him.

"Okay, this is the schedule for today," Manager Sejin said, handing them all a piece of paper with a brief set of instructions.

    7:00-8:00: Makeup

    8:10-10:30~12:00: Concept Photos

    12:00-12:30: Lunch

    12:35-Fin.: Music Video

The boys nodded, and Rein mentally prepared herself for the grueling day ahead. Fin. scared her, as she knew they would be on the set as long as the crew felt was necessary. But what scared her the most was the resigned looks on the boys' faces.

Though they kept up their lively energy, she could recognize the weariness in their eyes, because it was something she had seen in herself a numerous amount of times. No amount of makeup and fun costumes would cover up the fact that this was work.

Very difficult, strenuous work.

Rein and the members were ushered into a room. Bright fluorescent lights framed the outside of the mirrors, and about a dozen makeup artists scurried about, readying the room for the musicians. Rein took a seat next to Hoseok and Jin, both of whom gave her friendly smiles.

"Do you ever get, like, sick of putting on makeup?" she whispered to Jin, who shrugged.

"I really don't need the makeup if you know what I mean, but nothing wrong with being more handsome," he replied.

"True," she said with a giggle. The makeup artist she was assigned to skittered over and hovered over her chair, a quiet little thing; she never would have noticed her if there wasn't a mirror directly in front of her.

"Would it be possible for you to sit up a bit?" the girl squeaked, her lips trembling. Rein did so, giving the girl a crooked smile.

"Sure thing." The girl stared at her face for a solid minute, making Rein feel all types of uncomfortable, then got to work. As cool powders and paste brushed her face, she scanned the room through the mirrors to see how everyone else was doing, and as much as she didn't want to admit it to herself, she was looking for Namjoon in particular. He sat next to Yoongi and Jimin two seats away from her. He sat stoically in his chair, looking into the mirror with emotions she could not decipher.

The makeup application process was slow, but when it was finished, Rein gasped, turning her face this way and that to catch the light glinting off her cheekbones.

The white bulbs dazzled her eyelids, which was covered in silver and white and faded into a smokey black. Her eyes were pale moons, framing her wine-colored lips with a touch of poison.

She hopped off the chair, putting her hand on Hoseok's shoulder to stabilize herself, as he was done with his makeup as well. He put his hands up to his chin.

"How do I look?" he asked. Rein smiled; he looked pretty, to say the least. His makeup was a little more subdued than hers. It matched his suit, burgundy flowers like tongues of fire embellishing the front and black silk lining the lapels.

"Fucking awesome," she said, counting on Hoseok to understand the English. He gave her a toothy smile as Jin came up from behind her and stood next to Hoseok.

"Are you excited for your official BTS music video experience?" Jin said.

"That was a long title," she commented with a smirk.

"Yeah. It's still in the works," he said, chuckling. "But really though, how are you feeling? Good?" She thought for a moment.

"Definitely." Namjoon glanced over at the exchange between her and the two members, his face darkening. He wore his emotions on his sleeve, and it was easy to tell he didn't like what he was seeing.

But he had no reason to be upset. Why is he upset?

She saw Hoseok sneaking over to harass Jimin, who was the last person doing his makeup. As he commenced the poking and prodding, Manager Sejin stepped in to look at them.

"Is everyone done with prep?" he asked, his eyes glazing over the room. Everyone gave the affirmative, so they were lead onto the "Love Me" set.

It was bigger than anything she could have possibly imagined, making her gasp in delight. There were many different parts to it, like rooms within a room. Although it was relatively plain (save for some furniture and other props) it made her realize what a little CGI and editing could do.

A big birdcage hung in the middle of the biggest "room" by a thick chain, and Rein wondered if it would hold when someone would undoubtedly crawl in there. The floors were marble, gold splattered on black like blood. In their outfits, the eight of them looked like lords and ladies at a royal gathering. Rein almost lost herself in the surrealness of it all until she realized the boys were vlogging in front of the set.

"Hello, everyone! This is the shoot for BTS Love Me, the title song for 'Caged'," Taehyung said enthusiastically as the boys smiled for the camera. "Oh! And we have a special guest here today, as well. Rein, get over here!" Rein gulped and strode over, trying to keep her cool; this would be the first time she would be seen in an official piece of media with the boys.

They made space for her as she entered.

"Hi, I'm Rein Jones, and I'm so excited to join BTS on my first international feature album!" she exclaimed with the brightest smile she could muster. Jimin smiled.

"Let's get started!" he said. The camera-man gave them a thumbs up, and she could feel them relax around her. She squinted, somewhat confused.

"What the hell was that?" she asked Yoongi.

"Oh, that was for our Vlive. We're gonna be posing for the camera a lot, so prepare yourself," he said. She nodded.

"Hm. Interesting."

"Is everyone ready?" a man asked, who Rein assumed to be the director. When everyone gave the go-ahead, the director nodded.

"Okay, then. Let's get started. For real this time."

A/N: Hello! Please tell me what you thought of this chapter. I definitely drew a lot of inspo from the Wings concept for this album, but I think it has a bit of a different twist to it as well to make it unique. Make sure to comment and vote! <3
