How to Make Jam

Sometimes the most normal of things can occur, and leave your mind numb.

Compared to those times of need, Theodora takes a look around her kitchen and has one of those moments. The sleekness of the wooden beams hover above her favourite room.  Four wicker high top chairs for each of her men. An old chicken coop box frame topped with silver slate is the place she can serve her kings.

Her favourite room, because she can use her love language and wisely share it with her family.
Howie her ride or die, Topher, Ritchie and her eldest Eli.
Eli, has been excelling in science this year in his schooling and as such all of his class books clutter the rooms of her home. Including the kitchen this morning. Theodora goes to put it away and she reads a little about his latest project , germination.

"the hormones that control seed dormancy decline and the seeds within the fruit can actually start sprouting. This is called vivipary ("live birth"). If you ever find germinated seeds sow them!"

       He sits deprived of sensation in his blue beauty, his Mitsubishi Lancer. Scatman John blares on his CD deck.  Hidden away in a port as always is his way of safe space of day dream believing. Dusts remain scattered around the casings of his music.
It's dark out.
It's always dark out!

He writes;
       " No known issues, pass me the tissue. Mom & Dad get bent we always have rent. No abuse that's the excuse. Take a picture shout out your lecture! I close my eyes and I despise, oh the lies how I pick my prize.
                    My fists are wise because I lie."

Theodora's friend group arrive and she's cleared out her kitchen. They've gathered to prep the fundraiser for Carol and celebrate their sweet tooth's during the year end party!

Everyone gathers and picks their fruit.
Strawberries for Ben.
Oranges for Theodora.
Juneberries for Juniper.
And Manny turns his art into a bitter jam.

Some of their classmates begrudgingly also come and barely participate, but have no problem taking credit for composting and photo bombs of their all too needed efforts.
