Flowers blossoming and some birds begin to flutter.
The melting has begun, and the next semester came underway.

The holiday event forever known as the burning debate, wouldn't be spoke of; however the friend group had developed a name for themselves around campus.

Ben begins slipping in his GPA. Raw emotion collides with empathy inside him. Was he responsible for scarring the sidekick? Could he actually continue on within the class feeling this guilt?
Mr. Rechewed notices him sitting alone gazing at the single daisy growing with a limp outside the window.

It's there he unburdens his thoughts, in his new found friend in the professor.
That conversation solidifies Ben's demeanour going forward.

Juniper pulls up to her old high school stadium. Caught up in pause, she remembers being a kid and having only one friend in her brother.
She touches up her coverup, takes notice of any and all deformities in her face and makes her way out.

Spying from the bleachers she watches as her old friend continues to build his own path. She can feel his pride hiding her pain.

Greens growing. Sips of ice still dripping from the stands next to her. She lights a cigarette and shakily holds it as Geoff approaches.

"That shit is gonna kill you!"
He takes a drag.
Small talk.
In a few words he speaks highly of his achievements. Talks about his girlfriend of the moment. Asks about his nieces and brushes Junipers blond scraggly hair out of her eyes.

She quickly moves his hand with kindness. Juniper says she's swell. Noticing her shaking Geoff hands her his gloves.
Juniper departs almost as swiftly as she appeared.
Geoff watches her walk away. Rubbing his head he secretly seen the bruise his oldest friend tried to hide.

Carol becomes ill and packs up her locker. Theodora is there, as she always was for her friends.
Fighting tears and long goodbyes Dora walks Carol to her car.
"We will make that jam when you get better. I'd like that Dora, and thank you for being a friend"

Cancer gets a touchdown.
