{10} The Hallows Are Still Alive
Skye and Hope were in their bedroom that they shared, both of them sitting on Hope's bed with two blank sheets of drawing paper and crayons with them. Hayley walked in a few moments later, "Hey, sweeties. Drawing something?" Apparently all she had seen was the sheet of paper, because they hadn't drawn anything.
"Yes," Hope replied for the both of them, as the two kept looking at the blank sheet of paper and up to their mother. The two seemed to share a secret smirk, but Hayley never saw it.
"What're those supposed to be? Snowstorms?" Hayley joked, as the two just stared at the blank paper. Hayley sat down on the bed with her daughters, chuckling. She picked up a brush and started to brush Hope's hair, before moving to Skye's. "So... now that all this trouble's behind us, I thought the three of us could have a chat about what happens next. I know you both want to have a normal life with friends and school and art and sports and..." she trailed off, then noticed her daughters were sort of spaced out, "Hey you okay?"
"We're fine, mom," Skye replied for the both of them. However, Skye didn't seem like herself. Something was up, but Hayley just couldn't put her finger on it.
"Girls, if you're worried about the Hollows... don't be. Everything's okay now, I promise," Hayley promised to her daughters, trying to ease their worry and assure them they're safe. Except, one problem with their "insured protection" is if the Hollows can get in from the inside, they can kill off that "protection" right under everyone's noses. Hayley held two fingers up and kissed them, trying to do their little special mother/daughters gesture. However, the Hollows didn't seem to recognize it.
"Can we go back to our drawings?" Hope asked, with absolutely zero emotion in her voice. It seemed that Hayley — though didn't mind it — seemed surprised at that.
"Sure, yeah," Hayley said to them, a bit awkwardly too. But it didn't seem to ruin anything that was going on, other than the fact that her daughters were acting off and it wasn't because of the Hollows. Or was it..?

Hope and Skye are stood by the fire in the fireplace. Hope takes off her bracelet and Skye takes off her necklace, and they both drop them in the fire. However, they were caught by their aunt Rebekah. But why in their right minds would two girls with so much protection take their jewelry off, I wonder?
"What're you two doing?" Rebekah asked them, both shocked and confused. If anyone knew the girls, it was her. She raised them in their infancy and got not a single thanks for it, unless by Niklaus. But Rebekah did it willingly, seeing as she had always wanted to raise a child at some point in her life.
Her two nieces walk towards her, as Hope starts. "We can't be strong for our mommy and daddy if we can't do magic," she said, and Skye added her own to it, "Our magic is what strengthens us. We have to use it to help protect our family."
"Girls you don't have to protect them. We're all here to protect you. Now, let's get your jewelry," Rebekah assured the girls, but they both denied their aunt instead of going to get it. "Sweethearts, in a thousand years our family has never been bested. There's nothing that can defeat us," she said to the girls.
"Well, there is one thing," Hope said, and Skye, or Hollow Skye used her magic to make a piece of wood fly off of the walls, and it seemed to stake her aunt right in the heart, and now Rebekah is temporarily immobilized, due to being "dead." She turned grey and veiny, as most vampires do, and fell over.

Hollow Hope and Hollow Skye were sat in the living room, looking at a board. Hayley walked in on them, just sitting there across from each other, looking at a chess board but doing nothing with it.
"Hey, Sweeties... Why don't you take that chess set downstairs and we can take turns playing together? You want to find a spot and I'll fix us all a snack?" Hayley said, though by then, she had knew exactly what was going on. She was obviously acting, and not doing the best of jobs, but she was trying. "I want my daughters back," Hayley simply finished. Then she started to pace around the Hollows, who had possessed the two things she loved the most in this world. He Hollows followed behind her, "I don't care how long it takes, or what I have to do. I will get my daughters back."
The two girls smiled creepily, and they were small ones, too. They then pulled up their sleeves to reveal dragon tattoos that started to grow. "You won't. Hope and Skye are still fighting, but they'll give in soon. Once this is complete, we'll be in their bodies permanently," Inadu — or the eldest Hollow twin — said.
Hollow Skye held her hand up as Hayley was flung through a glass door. "You won't hurt us, 'Mommy'. We are your little girls, after all. You can't," she tested.
"Inadu. Catori," said a familiar female voice, who they hadn't known was there. It was Freya, the girls' witch aunt. Freya threw a bomb-like substance on the ground and a white powder floated into the air as the glass shattered. The girls were about to be knocked unconscious from it. And they were. Hayley caught Hollow Hope and Freya caught Hollow Skye. They both laid the girls down on the couches across from each other.

( IN SKYE'S MIND )
"Skye?!" Yelled the father of the brunette girl, Klaus Mikaelson. They had gotten into the girls' minds to keep them awake. Klaus had been in Hope's mind previously, but she had disappeared, causing him to worry for his other daughter. Skye was laying on the floor on her back, as her father approached her and sat down next to her. He tried to touch her, but it was like his hand had gone right through her. Like Skye were but a ghost. Everything was illuminated in a ghostly pale blue glow.
"The Hallows... They-" Skye strained to speak to her father. She was tired. She was weak, she was awake. You'd never seen a Mikaelson witch more in need of a break. Longing for her family, missing her life. That's when the Hollows walked into their lives... they ruined everything. (A/N: shoutout to anyone who got the reference to a famous musical)
"Shh, Shh sweetheart. I know they came, I know you tried to fight them... I've already spoken with your sister. Don't waste your breath and energy on me, love. Use it to fight Catori. You cannot let her win, okay? You've got to stay strong for me and your mother, yeah?" Klaus said softly, giving her a kind and soft look, or the softest he could muster a least.
Skye nodded, "Okay, Daddy. Just... I'm so exhausted. I just wanna close my eyes and sleep..." She felt her eyes start to droop closed, and each time it became harder to open them again, became harder to still fight. Her head started to fall down, and when Klaus tried to hold it up, his hand — obviously — passed through her. It chilled her enough to make her open her eyes again though.
"I know you're tired, but keep those open and keep fighting for me and your sister, okay? I love you," Klaus said to her, as his heart dropped at the sad sight in front of him. His daughter looked beat, she looked like she had been through hell, and she had.
Skye whispered in the softest tone you would've ever heard, "I-I love you too, Daddy. I love all of you..." Klaus then gestured for his daughter to sit up, so she did.
"I'm going to tell you a story, okay? It's a story that you need to be awake to hear... Before you and your sister came into my and your mother's lives, I was a completely different person. Cold. Cruel. I saw the good in no one, ever. But the moment I laid my eyes on my two perfect little girls... I changed. And for the better. I wanted to be the man in your lives that you looked up to, and loved the most. I wanted to be the man you'd want me to be. I wanted to be worthy of being your father. But I'm afraid, sweetheart. I'm afraid that, without you two, I'll just revert back to my old ways and I'll never be the man I am now again... So I need you. I need you to fight for me," Klaus said, tears welling in his eyes.
Tears were streaming down Skye's face by the time her father was done with his story. She nodded, sniffling to herself. "We will fight for you, Daddy... Both of us. We don't want to lose you either... We already lost you once," Skye said, and it was true. The girls had missed most of their family for five years of their lives. Skye watched as by then, tears had flown down Klaus's cheeks too, then Skye disappeared.

Catori woke up on the couch across from Inadu and they sent a silent smile at each other, before they both walk towards the door. They knew what they were doing, and they knew that they were winning. Inadu turned to her brunette sister, "Good work, sister. We've won now, and they can't stop us."
"Thank you. I am positive that they can't stop us now. We're stronger than ever before and in the most powerful witches in New Orleans," Catori said with a smirk, "I could get used to this body." She looked at Skye's body, tracing her fingers over it and running her fingers through Skye's soft brunette hair.
They both walk downstairs and Inadu raised her hand and burns the book that could've entrapped her and her sister, while Catori used a gust of wind to both put out the fire and rip away the burnt pages.

Inadu and Catori watched as people parted in a room of crowded people to make room for the two of them to walk by. Everyone kneeled before them. "That's right. Kneel before your masters," Catori called, a smirk gracing her young face. "For my sister and I have the most powerful witches under our control, and we are all powerful. There is nothing, nothing, that can stop us now!" Cheering was heard throughout the crowd as people held her fists up and pumped them. What they didn't know, was that the girls would kill whoever they had to to do what they needed to, followed or not.
