Percy's POV:

" You little monster", I sneered.

Okay first of all, that was an understatement. I was now battling a giant who introduced himself as,"Hey you! You killed my friends and Imma kill you and your girlfriend. " No kidding. So here I was fighting this creature that interrupted my date with Annabeth.

From the corner of my eye, I could see Annabeth wiping the sweat off her forehead and getting ready for an  attack while I was distracting it.

"Hi sweet cheeks!" I called out to it as it turned its venomous glare to me. " Umm.. just wanted to tell you that, I went to a shop today and deodrants were for sale. You better buy one." Oh well, he is now angry.

I watched as Annabeth tore through its skin from the back with her dagger and I wasted no time in killing it off with riptide with one swift motion. It finally vanished into thin air. I breathed out a sigh of relief as I turned to Annabeth.

"Hey, are you--" that was all I could tell before she collapsed in my arms and I noticed a deep cut near her waist.

A few hours later

Will's POV:

"SOMEBODY HELP HER!", I heard someone shout and the voice was really similar to Percy Jackson's. When I saw the scene, I was horrified to see Annabeth collapsed in his arms and I noticed her cloth near her waist soaked in blood.

I immediately rushed to get the medical supplies and when Percy placed her on the bed he whispered to me, 
"She means everything to me. Just do your best and make it quick." I replied, " Okay. Just wait outside."

"What!? Are you out of your mind? I have to stay with her. She needs me right now."

"Percy, now is really not the time. Unless you have some serious injury, you can't stay here. Rules are rules."

He scoffed and just then Grover came and whispered something to him. After a few moments and a really interesting staring contest, he agreed. I finally set to work.

Grover's POV:

"Does nobody understand me over here?", Percy asked for a millionth time.

Meanwhile Clarrise asked him, " Was the pun intended?"
He simply glared at her.

I tried to explain him for the millionth time, " Look dude, we are all worried here. Have a look at yourself, you look beaten up and sick in a totally literal way." Guess what Percy's reply was.

" I don't care. I just want Annabeth to be okay."

"Some romantic moron."
"Shut up Clarrise!"

She held her hands up as a sign of surrender. I let out a sigh. This is going to be a long night.

After a few more hours
Percy's POV:

"Guys, she has regained consciousness and she is all right now." I heard Will say.

"Really?", I said shaking his shoulders.
"Ow! Yes, Percy. Now go see her", he replied.

That's all I wanted to hear before I rushed to the room Annabeth was in. When I entered the room, I saw her figure illuminated by the moonlight, her blonde hair looking more beautiful than ever.

Then she said, "Hey."
Guess what I replied? "Hey."

"Seaweed Brain, you never told me we were going monster fighting for our date today."

"Wise girl I am so sorry. I never should have taken you there. It was stupid of me, I should have che--."

"Oh just shut up. I forgive you and it wasn't your fault anyway. Now kiss me."

And I did.

I spent the night with her and after a while she felt asleep in my arms protectively around her.
