"mariah! come here!" ethan yells throughout your shared house. you peek out the bathroom and jump on ethan.

"what happened?" you say. "did you hit your head on the headboard again?"

"no, no," he laughs. "just come cuddle with me. i don't feel like moving," he pulls you by his side and you cuddle in his chest. he was shirtless and his body was warm against yours. you ran your hand down his abs as he changed the channel to a good movie.

"you're so pretty," you mumbled and kiss his chest. you listened to the sound of his heartbeat as his body chuckled.

"you're prettier than me, baby," he kisses your head. you snuggle more into his chest-is that was even possible-and began to close your eyes.

"i love you," you mumble and let sleep consume you.

"i love you more, princess."
