i sat in the cafeteria with a granola bar in hand and water in the other. jolene sits in front of me yelling at me because of what happened earlier.

"why would you even speak to him?" she spits. "he's not like us! he'll chew you up and spit you out!"

you smirk at her. "i hope he does."

"stop!" she smacks the bar out of my hand. "why does your mind always go to the gutter? act normal for once!"

"don't you ever do that again, b.itch. and f.uck you! he's not even bad! he's just misunderstood by people like you. im outta here," i open my water bottle and splash it all over her. she sits still with an open mouth while the student body laughs at her.

"wow, jolene! i didn't know anyone could make you that wet!" she yelled out in frustration but i was already long gone.

ethan was at his locker once again with a book in hand. "what you got there?" i asked.

"y/n? right?" he smiles and sets the book in his locker. "and it's just for history. i can just add it to the list of things i'll never do."

"is it long?"

he chokes. "excuse me?"

"the list?" you giggle.

"oh!" he scratches the back of his neck. "yeah, it's pretty long, i guess."

"so, ethan. what are you doing right now?"

"well, i have class but it's a boring class. so im skipping," he shrugs. "you wanna come?"

"sorry. i can't, i have a big test in english," you frown. "but next time!"

"yeah, of course," he winks and begins to walk down the hallway with his leather jacket around his shoulders.

"what are you going to do while your skipping?"

he smirks. "bad boy things."
