in honor of me graduating from high school today, i decided to FINALLY post an imagine.

"welcome to wonderland," the rabbit in the blue suit spoke whilst checking his pocket watch as if it had the meaning to life hidden behind its ticks and tocks.

ethan felt as if he was dreaming. surely he wasn't in his right mind, for goodness sake, there was a talking rabbit in the suit. "did you just say wonderland? what even is that? how did i get here?"

the rabbit was very surprisingly very patient with his questions. "wonderland, yes. it's a place that was created by y/n, but since she is no more, there was a new ruler. they call him the hatter and he's...well, he's not the best ruler we've ever had. i've followed you for some time, which was difficult considering you have a twin, it confused me for a while–"

"will you get to the part about why im here? i mean, if this is 'y/n's place' then what does this have to do with me?"

the rabbit started again. "in her awful nightmares, she dreamt of you and only you. in a way, ethan, you saved wonderland before you even knew and now that y/n is absent, it's up to you to save the day. now hurry, there's someone we would like you to see."

the two boys smiled at ethan. "i'd like to escort you," the first one said in a british accent.

"actually," ethan raised his hands, "im oka–"

the second one now spoke in a matching accent. "no way, im escorting him."

not wanting to hear the upcoming banter between the two boys, the rabbit exclaimed that both boys would be able to escort ethan. they held him by the hand in a gentle way and led him through the forest of wonderland.

everything was beautiful. ethan admired how big the flowers were, they were practically the size of trees and the trees, they were a different story. a majority of the nature objects were alive and talking, it shocked ethan to look at. he never thought he'd ever see two blood red roses talking about a yellow tulip who was getting too much attention from a caterpillar they called absolem.

the rabbit excused the two boys from ethan's hands and pulled him toward the cloud of smoke coming from the top of a huge mushroom that was blown out of the mouth of a ginormous blue caterpillar.

what was up with this place and blue?

"and who exactly might you be?" the caterpillar spoke. ethan put two and two together and assumed he was the famous absolem the flowers gossiped about.

ethan cleated his throat. "im ethan and you must be absolem?"

he blew another cloud of smoke in ethan's face, to which he waffed away. "so, you are here to slay the hatter, is that true? do you slay, you stupid boy?"

the rabbit nervously looked to ethan, as well as the twin boys and the flowers and alive objects around him. "no," he said, "im not a murderer and im not stupid either." he spat the last part. "i just want to go home, im not supposed to be here, this isn't my place. i just make dumb youtube videos with my twin brother."

absolem and the rabbit looked at each other and then back to ethan. "you, stupid boy, are not what we need. hare, take him home. we do not need anymore stupidity here." he blew his last big cloud of smoke, leaving everyone in astonishment.

ethan rolled his eyes and walked backwards towards the way they came. the flowers looked at him in disgust and whispered harsh things.

"i could've sworn you were the one for the job. y/n always thought of you so highly, surely you're more capable than what you kn–" the rabbit stopped abruptly and craned his neck to look at the sudden commotion that was happening a few miles away.

the ground was shaking that caused everything to become uneasy. ethan crosses off an earthquake since the sound got stronger and louder by the second. shouts now came a bit closer that sounded like "long live the hatter," and some sort of animal came with it.

the two boys looked at one another as if it was their last and screamed, "bandersnatch!" then all hell broke loose.
