y/n stared at ethan with a shocked expression. her mouth was held shape as she tried to find words to reply to her best friend.

ethan fidgeted in his seat feeling uncomfortable. "stop it, y/n! i didn't mean to!" his face reddened with embarrassment which caused y/n to burst into laughter.

"okay, start from the beginning."

"i've told you three times already," he sighed and face palmed.

"do it!"

"fine!" he argued. "me and gray were-"

"grayson and i," y/n interrupted.

ethan gave her a look. "me and grayson," he put emphasis on the words which made y/n giggle. "we were getting starbucks because cameron and mom wanted something, and we offered to pay since they're family. so, grayson went to the restroom and i ordered. and while i was waiting for the drinks a cute girl came up to me and asked what i was getting. then she said we thought we had good chemistry and then she asked me out. and i-i," he stumbled. "i ran away."

y/n hunched over in laughter and held onto her leg for support. "you're s-so stupid! how do you run away?" y/n screamed with laughter.

"is she okay?" lisa yelled from upstairs.

"yeah, mom! she's just laughing at my life!" ethan yelled back.

"so just the usual?" she replied.

"lisa! you wouldn't believe what ethan did!"

ethan clamped his hand over y/n's mouth in a hurry. "shut up!" y/n licked his hand and ethan pulled away with a disgusted face as he frantically wiped his hand against your jacket.

lisa descended down the stairs with a worried look on her face. "did you pee your pants again e-tee-wee-tee?"

"you both make this too e-easy!" y/n laughed.

ethan's face reddened even more. "im going to my room." he marched up the stairs with the sound of y/n's and lisa's laughs filling his ears.
