after years of getting to know ethan dolan, you thought you had him all figured out. his bad boy ways were caused by his friends who egged him on to do stupid things and he liked it. he loved the rush and the adrenaline that felt like drugs running through his veins. and you thought that maybe, just maybe you could change him.

you held onto hope and it failed you. you thought if you held on tight enough, you could see change happen, but in the end, it f.ucked you.

ethan laughed in your face when you said the words. it slipped off your tongue so quickly and you instantly regretted it. his face was shocked first but then he broke out into laughter. his eyes filled with tears as he hunched over, clutching his stomach.

you bit down on your lip, attempting to not cry in front of him.

"oh, y/n! that's funny. you love me?" he laughs more with tears now falling down his eyes from laughter.

you scoffed. "is that so hard to believe?"

"look, y/n. you're a great girl and all but, you're not my type. you don't put out what i want to put in, you know?" he winks.

you take this time to raise your hand and slap him. "you a.sshole!"

he rubbed the red spot on his face with hurt in his eyes. "what the f.uck was that for?" he yelled viciously.

"you can't possibly tell me that you don't feel the same way back. every laugh, every secret, every memory that we shared. that was nothing? the tears that you cried about your brother to me was nothing?" you said in disbelief. "if he was alive, he would be so disappointed in you."

"f.yck off, y/n! you don't know s.hit!"

"last year on march the fifth. you and grayson were going to the store to get eggs for a youtube video-"

"stop it, y/n."

"-and you made him laugh really hard and he accidentally swerved the car into an oncoming car."

"i said stop!" he yelled and pushed you against the wall with his body. his lips were several inches away from yours.

you looked deep into his brown-green eyes with hurt. "you're an a.sshole, ethan dolan. a complete and utter a.sshole." you pushed his body off of yours and slammed the door to his room loudly and never looked back.
