"daddy, daddy! i want that toy!" ethan's daughter, may, cried in the red shopping cart. ethan smiled at his three year old daughter before grabbing the brown barbie girl and handing it to her. she squealed. "daddy, she looks just like me!" may giggled.

ethan shook his head. "no, baby. you're much cuter!" he pinched her little brown cheeks and she laughed. ethan continued to push the cart down the isles until he accidentally crashed into someone else.

the girl behind the other cart quickly apologized. "s.hit! im so sorry!"

"ooh! she said a bad word!" may yelled. "spank her, daddy!"

ethan's face turned a dark shade of red as he stared at the girl in front of him. she wore (im horrible at outfits so like, y'all can pick your favorite. okay? okay.) ethan couldn't stop his eyes from looking at the beautiful girl before him.

the girl laughed. "you have a cute kid. your wife must be a lucky woman."

"my mommy ran away with my daddy's brother," may said while raising the arm of the brown barbie.

ethan turned to his daughter. "baby, stop."

the girl frowned. "sorry, i didn't-"

"no, it's fine. at least i got this little sweet pea out of it," ethan motioned to may.

"im y/n, by the way," she reached out to shake ethan's hand.

"and im ethan and this here is may. my beautiful daughter."

ethan and y/n stared at each other until may pretended to throw up. "i guess that means we should get going," ethan chuckled.

"yeah, yeah. definitely," y/n said with a sad smile.

"it was nice meeting you, y/n."

"you too, ethan. bye may."
