you sit in the corner of the room with your heart in your hands. feeling your whole body in pain as you looks at his hands intertwined with hers. his body was pressed against hers as he would lean in slowly before playing a kiss on her lips. she smiled and pulled back with a blush falling on her cheeks.

the pain stuck you deeply before he looked up and saw you staring at him. tears stung your eyes but one accidentally fell and immediately caused you to leave the room. your teacher yelled after you, but you kept moving. there was nothing that would be able to stop you. not when you felt like this.

"y/n, wait up!" ethan called your name. you halted your steps, feeling the sting in your heart, before you kept walking. "hey!" he now chased you down and grabbed your elbow to which you pulled it back.

"what?" you loudly say with your teary eyes.

he takes a step back, noticing your current state. "what's wrong with you? you don't seem okay, y/n."

you laugh and a couple tears fall from your eyes. wiping them away you say, "oh yeah, ethan. im so okay. the best i've ever been." you begin to turn away but he grips your wrist this time.

"come on, y/n! you used to tell me everything, what happened to that?"

"have mercy on me, please. you're breaking my heart. with every touch you place on her it reminds me of us, of what we used to be and it's tearing me apart. im falling apart, ethan. it's hurts to see you're okay, but i'm not. just, have mercy on me, please."

"y/n," he whispered feeling his emotions spring out.

"don't. j-just please, don't," you snatched your wrist and walked out the doors to your school. he stood in the hallway watching your figure slowly fade away before you were finally gone.
