y/n stood with her expression blank and tears freely fell from her eyes. ethan had his hand running through his hair with his eyes holding back tears. his mouth opened and closed but nothing seemed to come out.

y/n attempted to reach out to him but his eyes turned into stone as he moved back. "you cheated and know you want forgiveness?" he wickedly laughs. "are you f.ucking insane, y/n?"

"i-i just-"

"don't," he snapped. "don't you dare think that you have any say in this." he rolled his shoulders back. "you broke me."

y/n felt herself shrink. "im so sorry," she began to sob. "im so sorry."

he bitterly laughs and holds back his tongue from spewing out all the hurtful words that would break her back. but instead he shook his head and walked out with a loud door slam and a heavy heart.
