y/n visited the small familiar town in new jersey where she found love for the first time and she was pissed. she found her old phone that she used in her senior year and found multiple messages from ethan dolan. her first love. she read all of them. all 100 messages that he had left her. and what f.ucked her up was how recent they were.

she stormed out of her house and ran to the dolan household where ethan visited for his older sister, cameron. she knocked on the door with her eyes filled with tears. the phone was in hand and opened to the messages that he left her.

ethan opened the door and he stared back at y/n. her (skin color) skin was covered in snow and her eyes were filling with tears. ethan could feel his heart falling to his stomach. he didn't know what to say, so he just stared.

"what the f.uck is this?" she threw him the phone and he caught it and examined the messages. his stomach dropped when he read his name. he felt ridiculous. "there's a hundred of these messages, ethan! a hundred!"

"i-i," ethan didn't know what to say.

"explain yourself!"

"i still love you, okay?" he found his voice and yelled. "so you want an explanation? fine. this is me attempting to get over you. alright? and it didn't work because you're here now and just-no. just go, y/n. you need to leave, now."

he slammed the door and could feel his heartbreak into shards. he slid down the door thinking about what he had just done. he lost the girl that was never his.
