Ethan was getting used to life in the village, the town market, the dirt roads, and the farm life was actually quite peaceful. But there was still one thing missing, there was little to no technology. He missed the tv, the computers, and most of all, his smart phone. He was an IT after all.

"Guess I have to talk to Chris..." Ethan muttered to himself. He didn't want to talk to him, not after his blatant disapproval of him and Heisenberg dating.

He got up and walked over to the kitchen, where puddle was sleeping, he couldn't help but smile at the small little cat curled up on the table.

It was still raining outside, it was non-stop and the front yard was flooded, but this didn't bother Ethan, the damp atmosphere soothed him. He heard a door open and then felt arms wrap around his waist, then a kiss on the nape of his neck.

"How was your nap sleepyhead?" Karl chuckled, Ethan leaned back and hummed in comfort.

"Better than last nights sleep, but when is that not the truth..." Ethan responded softly and put a hand on Karl's wrist gently holding it.

He noticed Karl's hands slide lower, slowly reaching his v-line and his fingertips started to go under his pajama pants. Ethan gently lifted the others hands, "not right now... sorry..." he felt bad for cutting him off, but he was way too tired to start something like that.

"Still tired?" Karl sounded a little worried, but understood, Ethans body was different now, he was the host of the metamycyte, which would drain his energy quickly.

"Ethan you know you can sleep as long and as often as you need to." He brushed his blond hair through with his fingers, and Ethan smiled at the feeling, "I know, I just want to be around more is all..."

"Hmm..." Karl pulled him in closer and kissed his temple, they were silent and listened to the rain, making Ethan want to fall back to sleep. Heisenberg noticed this and rubbed his chest, "let's take a walk!" He smiled.

"But it's raining out..."

"Yeah but we have an umbrella, and you need to get out." Karl smiled and walked over to the coat closet to grab an umbrella.

"What about Rose?" Ethan shifted.

"You can hold her right?" The other looked back, Ethan nodded.

They both walked out of the house, Heisenberg opened up the umbrella, and Ethan quickly followed him under it. Rose sounded happy to be outside in the rain, which relieved Ethan.

They stayed close to their house, walking around and letting Rose explore the little frogs and snails which came with the rain, she was wearing a little rain jacket Alcina had gifted her.

Since the rain wasn't coming down very hard, and wasn't very cold, Ethan let her waddle to the rocks and logs she took interest in, he himself left the umbrella and took in the rain.

Heisenberg was actually planning on turning into his werewolf form, and showing Ethan he wasn't dangerous in that form. He felt bad for lying to him when he said that it was fully gone, it was impossible for him to fully get rid of that side of him, it was him and it was just the nature of his body.

He put down the umbrella after closing it, and shifted, it was easier than he thought it would be, he was thinking it was going to be hesitant. Ethan turned around and saw the beast and panicked.

"H- hey! Think about this!" He moved over to block Rose out of Karl's sight, and braced himself for a wave of pain when he moved towards him on his four legs. But to his surprise, he just felt the large animal rest itself next to him, with his head on Ethans lap.

Ethan's body was shaking uncontrollably, the last time he saw one of these things in the village it gutted him, shredded his body, he never felt such constant pain in his entire life. Gash after gash, bite after bite, the experience started to go numb after a while. But now, this thing was laying next to him like a dog, with the large skeletal head resting on his thigh.

Even before the Lycans, Ethan had been a cat person, they were quiet and easy going, you never needed to worry about them suddenly barking or growling, both Ethan and cats hated loud noises and places.

He lifted his hand up, still trembling, and started to stroke the coarse, damp hair of Karl's beastly form. Karl could hear his racing heart, his deep and shaky breaths, but both of those things started to slow down when he began petting him. Karl couldn't help but let out a low grumble of satisfaction, which made Ethan nervous again.

Rose suddenly yelled in excitement when the frog she'd been watching jumped on her hand. Karl jumped up and Ethan fell to his side covering his head in habit. When Karl had realized why Rose had screamed, he slowly approached her and sniffed her hair. This made Rose laugh and she gently grabbed Karl's snout.

Ethan on the other hand was terrified seeing this and felt his heart race again. He could swallow Rose whole if he wanted to! So he quickly picked up Rose and sat her on his lap. This made Karl go back to laying down and resting his head now on Ethans foot since Rose was on his lap.

The frog which had made itself comfortable on the back of Roses hand jumped down on Ethans hand, which made him and Rose laugh.

"Jumpy!!" Rose clapped. Ethan smiled and nodded, "they're very jumpy!" He added.

"We should let jumpy go home though, I'm sure they have a family to go home to." He put his hand down and the frog seemed to appreciate this and quickly jumped away.

"Bye bye!!! Jumpy bye bye!!" Rose giggled and waved at the frog, Ethan did as well. He put Roses hood back up when it fell from her movements, she laughed at this too.

After a couple minutes of taking the moment in, Ethan felt a wave of sleepiness wash over him, Rose was also starting to fall asleep, he looked down at Karl who was also sleeping. His fur was almost metallic with the water soaking it. With this observation, Ethan fell asleep.
