You weren't too fond on the idea of attending a concert of someone you barely heard about until a few weeks ago. Uta, newest sweetheart and diva in the world of music, caught the heart of many with her songs she recorded and broadcast to the world with video Den Den Mushis.

You were probably the only one on board who wasn't overly excited to listen the live version of songs Usopp has been wrecking your ears with all day long, to sunset to nightfall. Of course, your complains fell on deaf ears unlike that bloody singer, and Luffy was quick to redirect the ship to the island of Elegia to watch the concert.

That's how you found yourself waiting on a small patch of land in the middle of the stadium with tons of people gathered in the stands to attend Uta's concert. Most of your crewmates had changed into their costume for the special occasion, yours nothing too flashy or eccentric unlike Usopp's getup that made your eyes bleed the first time your gaze laid on his clothes.

"This is one huge crowd" Franky commented as he took in the amount of people who bought tickets for the show.

"Well, the famous Uta is performing live in front of a crowd for the first time!" Nami stated in excitement.

"There's even merfolk around. Should be quite a show" Jimbei added after taking a quick look in the water. "But why did we have to dress up like this?"

"Showing up in costume to help hype up her first show gets you these!" Usopp explaining, showing the Uta pins he gathered before you headed into the stadium.

"That's the reason why?" Zoro couldn't help but sweatdrop at the sight.

"I'm looking forward to it. She's the entire world's sweetheart, at this point" Robin said as she arrived with Brook with bags in hands.

"As odd as it might sound coming from Soul King, her voice is otherworldly" the skeleton added in agreement.

" U! T! A! UTA-CHAN~" Sanji spelled out, doing a small twirl with hearts in his eyes.

"What a loser" the swordsman scoffed under his breath, earning a glare from the cook who heard him from miles away.

"Say that again and I'll cook you up nice and juicy, crap swordsman!"

"Would like to see you try, Twirly Brow"

The lights dimmed down in the stadium, announcing the start of the show. Everyone quickly became silent as you saw three blue spotlights turning on through the dense fog. The music began to fill your ears, a melody that you were very familiar with at this point.

The fog cleared up as a figure appeared at the center of the stage. The crowd was quick to stand up and dance along the music as Uta began to sing and move to the rhythm. You had to cover your ears for a moment to make sure your eardrums wouldn't explode because of how loud it was. Nothing compared to the loudness of Chopper and Usopp's cheers, though, as the reindeer waved his glowsticks much faster than before.

The rooftop made of crystal opened to let enter the sun, the world exploding in colors all around you. A sudden wave of dizziness washed over you, and you had to rely on the fence to keep yourself standing and not fall over in the sea.

What was that? came your first thought, gazing at the show's props that seem to come out from a children's storybook.

Your crewmates were still enjoying themselves and watching the show, so you came to the conclusion that it was probably all in your head. Still, you couldn't help the feeling there was something wrong with this place the moment Uta's concert started. Her voice stirred up emotions in you that you would rather keep at bay then let them come out all at once.

Uta finished her first song and the crowd turned wilder, cheering up her name as they waved their handmade banners. The singer grinned and jumped down from her platform on the stage, waving at her spectators in glee:

"It's great to finally meet you all! I'm Uta! Let's all have a great time today!" Uta stated, earning cheers of approval from her audience.

You blinked when Luffy suddenly decided to stretch his arm to grab unto one of the crystals of the roof and swing himself all the way to where Uta stood on the stage. Usopp called after him while the others wondered why he would do something like that out of nowhere.

Uta tilted her head in confusion at the sight of him, frowning slightly. Luffy gave her a once-over before grinning brightly:

"Hey, I was right! You're Uta, aren't you?! It's me, remember?!" your captain exclaimed.

"Me?..." she repeated, before her bunny-like hairstyle stood up abruptly when she seems to finally recognize the person standing in front of her. "Wait...Luffy?!!"

"It's been a real long time, Uta!"

"Luffy!!!"

The songstress threw herself in Luffy's arms to embrace him, tears of joy cascading down her cheeks. The crowd immediately reacted to the display, echoes of shock and disbelief from all around the dome. Even your crewmates couldn't comprehend what was happening, surprised that their captain knew who this girl was personally.

"So Luffy knew Uta?" Robin inquired while Sanji scowled deeply.

"Dammit! He could've introduced us, then!" he said in outrage.

"Why exactly are you so friendly with Princess Uta?!" Usopp added, Chopper nodding fervently as he jumped on top of the sniper's head.

"'Cause she's Shanks' daughter!" Luffy answered without any filter.

You swore you could hear a pin drop with the silence that followed after his words. It didn't take long for the crowd to react at this revelation as they refuted Luffy's claim, not believing that Uta would be someone that associated herself with pirates.

"I had thought it was odd that Elegia was the venue..." Robin mused.

"Because of the old legend?" Brook wondered, and the woman nodded at him.

"Right. But this adds a whole new wrinkle to it"

The sound of a firearm exploded from the stage, and you watched several people (who you believed were pirates) climbed on the platform to reach where Uta and Luffy stood.

"So Red-Haired Shanks of the Four Emperors has a daughter? If it's true, that'd make you his biggest weakness..." one laughed.

"We fork you over to one of the big-name pirate crews and we'll make a huge profit!" another exclaimed.

"So there you have it. Sorry, but this concert is canceled!"

When you thought things wouldn't get crazier, a familiar opponent crashed on the scene with a mirror. A figure emerged from the glass with a wicked laugh. Of all people to assist the concert, you didn't expect to see Brûlée and Oven from the Big Mom Pirates again. You really didn't understand why they made such a huge deal about some Emperor's daughter. From Red-Haired Shanks, nonetheless too. You felt like he was the last guy you wanted to piss off in the world.

"We'll be taking the girl!" Brûlée stated with a smirk.

"Ah! It's you...Branch?" Luffy stood in front of Uta to protect her.

"IT'S BRÛLÉE!" the woman cried out, still pissed that he would fail to recall her name properly.

"Don't know about the other guy, tho...."

"Seriously! I was curious about the fuss and got lucky enough to hear the big reveal! Sorry, Uta, but you're going to be my gift to Mama!" Brûlée summoned another mirror where countless of Big Mom Pirates came out of.

Your comrades were quick to react and jumped straight into the battle to protect Uta. Instead of be frighten or even worry for her life, Uta simply smiled and lifted one hand to put a stop to everything:

"Thanks for protecting me, but no more brawling!" she said. "You're all my fans, so I want you all to enjoy the show and get along"

"Huh? But these guys are trying to kidnap you, Princess Uta!" Usopp stated in disbelief.

"And they don't seem the reasonable type!" Franky added as he fought against Oven.

"When we want something, we fight to take it!" the latter responded. "Because we're pirates!"

"So stop being pirates, then" Uta mused confidently. "I'll forgive all the bad stuff you've done until now. Why don't all of you give up this nasty pirate business and join me in a world tons of fun instead? With my songs, we can all be happy and enjoy peace!"

Her words struck a chord inside of you, and for a moment a strange memory flashed in front of your eyes. For a moment, you saw a young man with snow-white hair and purple eyes standing at the same spot where Uta was, his arms spread wide and smiling skyward. You were pulled out from your reverie by the loud cackles of the pirates on the stage.

"There's no such thing as peace, girl" Oven stated.

"If you wanna keep yapping, I can slice your face up!" Brûlée offered.

"Hang on! She belongs to me!" the nobody captain claimed.

"Come on, I thought you all came here to enjoy my singing" Uta turned to him, furrowing her brows slightly.

"We're pirates, baby. There's stuff that matters to us more than music!" he laughed, earning disapproving sounds from the audience. Uta shook her head at his words.

"What a shame. In that case, I'll make a song out of you"

The lights dimmed down while a single spotlight hovered Uta. She was enveloped in yellow and blue light as the lyrics of her next song flowed harmoniously out of her mouth:

She finished her song, slamming her makeshift spear on the ground while the dome returned to normal under the cheerful sounds of the audience who shouted Uta's name in unison. Your comrades started to slowly return to their respective seats once they were sure Uta was safe from any pirate disturbance as she announced great news for her fans:

"I would always get tired during the streaming concerts with Video Den Den Mushis so they tended to be pretty short...But this concert is an endless one! It's gonna keep going, non-stop! "This is crazy! She's gonna do a non-stop solo show?!" Usopp cried out in amazement.

"How cool is that?!" Chopper added.

"Sounds...really weird" you grunted, earning a look from Zoro.

"Is the old hag already tired of the show?" the swordsman smirked, and a vein popped next to your temple at his words.

"I'm mostly tired of having to endure your face, Sea Cucumber"

"What did you say, stupid mummy?!"

"You heard me, you no brainer!"

"There's also one more thing I would like to say" Uta continued, her expression now turning more serious. If you ruin that... there'll be consequences. I'm Uta, the woman who's going to create a new age. And I'm going to use my songs to make everyone happy!"

After she was done with another song, she decided to take a break for a few minutes to offer drinks and food, along with gifts to the audience, who accepted without a second thought. Sanji decided to use that time of opportunity to prepare a meal for the crew. Meanwhile, they were discussing about Uta's powers: was it simply the work of a Devil Fruit (a theory that was likely to be the case in your opinion), or perhaps she has been gifted with the almighty powers from the gods of music. Luffy wasn't of much help, simply answering cryptically that she always loved to sing ever since she was a child.

"Luffy. Guys. You having fun?" Cue for the devil to appear, causing Usopp to straighten his back abruptly at Uta's sudden appearance.

"Yes, Princess Uta!" Usopp answered with blushing cheeks.

"With all these unusual ingredients, this place is heaven!" Sanji smiled at her.

"There's so much fun stuff!" Chopper twirled with his bottle of milk.

"I'm glad I could make Luffy's friends happy...Hm?"

Her gazed settled on you, piercing and cold. You were taken aback by the sudden shift as she inched herself closer to Luffy, all the while keeping her glare on you. Oblivious to the tension, Luffy simply smiled as she whispered something to him.

"Nah, this is everybody!" your captain grinned, and she sighed through her nose.

"It's been a while, Luffy, so how about another game?"

"There's no way you can beat me now"

"What are you talking about? I'm on a 183-game-long winning streak!" Uta pouted at his back.

"Wrong! I won those 183 times!" Luffy rebutted.

"Those are extremely divergent perspectives" Robin tilted her head in thought.

"What kind of game exactly?" Nami wondered, and Uta turned to her with a smile.

"Luffy and I used to compete all the time. At knife throwing, arm wrestling....Ah! I know what we gonna play today! A game of chicken! Whoever eats fastest wins"

Uta summoned a long platform above your heads and lifted Luffy on top of it with the help of her notes. Two plates filled with fried chicken were laid in front of them while a bull appeared at the other end of the platform. You were slightly weirded out with the type of games she chose as the two began to stuff their face with the fried chicken while the bull charged at them.

Uta finished first, and only because she offered a drink to Luffy who took it with a second thought instead of finishing his chicken before her. The songstress jumped off the platform in time while your captain was knocked into the water by the bull who disappeared in a smoke of notes.

"Oh, right! You ate a Devil Fruit, too, huh, Luffy? Sorry about that!" Uta grinned after she pulled the young man out of the sea.

"You cheated back there! I want a do-over!" Luffy shouted.

"There you go again, being a sore loser!" she taunted him, doing grabby motions.

You felt another headache incoming as they continued their lively banter, and decided that you had enough of this concert. Jimbei noticed your tired look first, sending a questioning look in your direction as he asked:

"Is everything fine, (y/n)?"

"Yeah, I'm just...exhausted all of sudden. Concerts aren't my cup of tea" you answered truthfully, unaware of the stinky look Uta sent your way when she heard that.

"You could always rest on the Sunny if it's too much for you" Nami offered, and you nodded at her words.

"Maybe I will take a short look around and do that. See you guys later while you're having fun..."

As you waved goodbye to your comrades, you made your way toward the short staircase that would help you get to the exit. However, as you passed by Uta to reach it, you felt a wave of chills wash over you. It was as if negative energy manifested itself in the air, all emanating from the songstress. She was tapping her right foot impatiently, her single purple eye narrowed at you with promises of hatred shining in them.

I can understanding not liking someone, but she looks like she wants to kill me! you sweated as you descended the stairs.

She didn't attempt anything to your relief after you exited the dome, the chants of Uta's name by the audience echoing across the island. The town of Elegia rested in ruins, overshadowed by vegetation over the years that passed ever since the tragedy that struck its people. The country was left inhabited for the longest of time, abandoned from the world.

While you crossed the empty streets of the town, your thoughts drifted to the vision you witnessed at the concert. You wondered who was that young man you saw. You came to a stop when you caught sight of something moving on top of a hill, suddenly feeling drawn to it for no particular reason.

There, you found several windmills, their wheel slowly turning by the soft wind. A memory flashed in your mind, one where the same young man from before was sitting at the edge of the cliffs. Singing, voice carrying far and beyond. Yet, for no one to hear him in the end.

Murmurs of loneliness that faded in the wind. You shook your head, not in the mood to entertain those thoughts anymore or even those memories of a past that didn't exist anymore. You were about to make your way toward the port when a strange, stiffled noise echoed behind you. There was a large crash, and you whipped around to see a weird contraception of instruments gathered together to become a marching band, along with lanky figures armed with spears and shields at each side. On top of the machinery stood Uta, holding in her hand Luffy's straw hat.

"I found you finally. You are Silvers (y/n), no?" Uta demanded, narrowing her single eye at you.

"...What are you doing with Luffy's hat?" you inquired with a frown, standing on guard even if she was his friend. "Don't you have a concert to run or something?"

"Your presence here is unwanted" she spat, her grip around the straw hat tightening. "Ever since you stepped on this island, I felt there was something off about you. Stay away from his friends. Stay away from Luffy"

"You got some nerves to say that. It's not like he ever mentioned you once" you scoffed, crossing your arms over your chest. "I was already aware you didn't like me, but that doesn't give you the right to simply kick me off the island. I could care less about your concert. "You would rather have chaos and destruction?! Just like Shanks did all those years ago?!" Uta cried out in outrage, and you were taken aback by the intensity of her anger. "You are just like him...Abandoning everything and everyone behind for your own selfish needs!"

"Hey, hey. Don't pull me in your daddy issues or whatever you want to call that. I don't understand why you are having a fit about it. I was on my way to leave-"

"YOU AREN'T LEAVING!" she roared, sending a wave of notes in your face.

You staggered backward as you dodged the attack, jumping a few steps back to keep some distance between Uta and you. You gnashed your teeth, debating on if you really needed to fight someone Luffy considered a friend.

"First you want me to leave, now you don't. Decide already, woman" you complained.

"You won't leave this island, Silvers. I will make sure you never get close to Luffy ever again!" Uta stated.

Seems like you nailed it on her wanting to kill you in the end. You were prepared to fight back, Luffy's wishes be damned. That is until you saw something roll down at the top of the hill. You blinked in confusion, your expression transforming into one of horror when you realized that the sphere was coming straight at you. Uta's eyes bulged out of their sockets when the sphere smashed into you, bringing your body along for the ride as you continued to roll and bounce across the town.

"GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! WE RAN STRAIGHT INTO LADY (Y/N)!!!"

You could recognize that annoying voice anywhere. While your body was dragged and flatten like a pancake, you saw inside the sphere made of Bartolomeo's barrier said user with your captain, the latter looking like he was about to throw up at any moment. For the longest of time (in your opinion), you rolled down until you reached the port of Elegia, your body aching everywhere and limbs twitching sporadically as Barto removed the barrier around him and Luffy.

There wasn't enough apologies or hope in the world for Bartolomeo to not receive the beating of his life after you recollected your senses, Luffy too busy to barf into the sea his five breakfasts and two lunches.

"I am terribly sorry, Lady (y/n)" spoke Barto through swollen lips and face, his head touching the ground in reverence and forgiveness. "We couldn't really stop because Princess Uta's soldiers were after Luffy-senpai"

"What exactly happened? I got attacked by her!" you turned to Luffy who groaned in pain.

"Uta captured the others...and for some reason she hates pirates and Shanks" the young man told you. "That Gordon old man said that she had some kind of plan but..."

"Who the heck is Gordon-? Wait...."

You came to the realization there was absolutely no ships at the port. The Thousand Sunny was nowhere to be seen. Only the vast blue sea. Luffy seems to come to the same conclusion, too, because he began to panic and run around like a headless chicken.

"That Torao guy mentioned the Marines and special agents were sent here for Uta's concert, but I'm seeing nothing for the moment..." Barto hummed, tilting his head sideway in wonder.

"SUNNNNNY?!!! IT'S MISSING!!" Luffy cried.

"YOUR SHIP?!"

Sunny!

Luffy came to a sudden stop when he heard the name of his ship being called. That's when a strange creature pulled itself from the sea with some difficulty. Its appearance resembled to the Sunny a lot while it continued to chant its name without stopping.

"Sunny...Sunny...Sunny. Sunny!" the little guy extended his arms with a large smile to the disbelief of everyone.

"SUNNY?! IS THAT YOU?!" Luffy gaped at the creature.

"Did Uta-sama's power do this, too?! I'M SERIOUSLY FREAKING OUT!" Bartolomeo cried out.

"What is wrong with this place?!" you blinked in shock.

The weather darkened as soft rain pattered the ruins of Elegia. On the orders of the World Government, the Marines were sent to apprehend Uta and stop the concert before it was too late. But when they finally arrived at the dome, the sight they witnessed left them with no words. The whole audience along with the pirates were plunged in a deep slumber, everything frozen in place. Vice Admiral Momonga was the first to step on the stage to observe his surroundings, taking in the sight of the sleeping people.

He found a single figure laid on the stage, his eyes widening like saucers when he realized who it was. Silvers (y/n), and unlike your peers, your eyes were slightly open.

"What in the world happened?" he wondered.

"They aren't dead, are they?" Momonga inquired in the Den Den Mushi.

"They are sleeping. But they're not waking up, no matter what" a voice answered.

Uta appeared around the corner of the stage with a basket filled with colorful mushrooms, slowly walking up to where you were laying. Momonga motioned to his men with his hand to take position and stand on guard, glaring at the songstress as she took a seat next to your unconscious form.

"If you kill me, nobody here is going to get their soul back...You think that's a good idea?" she stated.

"Miss. I believe I understand pretty well how your Devil Fruit power works" Fujitora arrived on the scene, the blind man facing Uta in her general direction.

"Great, that saves me an explanation! Go ahead and leave, then. Besides, it won't be long until I'm gone, anyway" Uta dismissed the Marines, her hand drawing out one of the mushrooms in the basket to eat it.

"This scent...Is that a Wake-shroom?" Fujitora's nose scrunched when the pungent smell hit him straight in his nose and Uta simply gave him a thumb-up for guessing right. "Those who eat them are unable to sleep, and in time, they die"

"Woman! Do you want to take the entire audience with you when you die?!" Momonga demanded in outrage, taking a step closer to her.

"What does death matter? Isn't the soul more important than the body? In the new age, everyone is going to be living together, in soul! Without a single demon to haunt the world!" Uta exclaimed, her gaze falling on you. "Isn't what they all want?"

"I'd rather not shed any blood today. Is there any way you'll reconsider this plot of yours to turn the world on its head?" the blind man wondered, already unsheathing his sword from his cane.

"Huh? Why would you say that? I just want everyone to be happy!"

"I can tell you're not one to listen to reason"

"And neither are you guys" Uta murmured, opening her voice to unleash her powers but the Marines were quicker than that.

"With your singing voice blocked out, your powers are nothing!" Momonga stated as everyone pulled headphones on their head.

"Nice try. But you are too late"

The Marines were pushed backward when two persons jumped on the stage to protect Uta from each side. Momonga could only stare in disbelief at the sight of Captain Koby and Lieutenant Commander Helmeppo stepping up while remaining asleep. "Come to think of it, Uta mentioned having a power like that. So that's why everybody would fall asleep when listening to her sing!" Luffy snickered, only to receive a punch behind the head from you.

"YOU COULD HAVE SAID SOMETHING SOONER!" you snarled.

"HER FIST WENT THROUGH MY BARRIER?!" Bartolomeo simply panicked, eyeing the hole you made through the ball to reach him.

"What's going on in reality?" Law inquired, facing Koby who lightly frowned.

"Our bodies are still there, but Uta has control over them"

"How do we get back to the real world?"

"If Uta sleeps, her power will cease to function. But while we're in the world of the Sing-Sing Fruit, we can't affect her in reality"

"But if she's using a Devil Fruit power, it has to have a limit" you considered, following after them as they began to search for some shelter.

"Maintaining the Sing-Sing world is an incredible drain on her stamina. Sort of like how I can't constantly use the Door-Door Fruit's power" Blueno told.

"So we'll be okay once Uta-sama gets tired enough to fall asleep?" Bartolomeo wondered.

"Unlikely. Before the concert started, she was confirmed to be eating Wake-shrooms. They keep people who eat them from sleeping"

"Wake-shrooms?!" you exclaimed in shock. "But if she keeps eating them...It won't be long before she runs out of strength in the real world and dies"

"She's gonna die?! Uta?!" The barrier disappeared with a pop, releasing Luffy from his short prison the moment he heard your words.

"Will we be released, then?" Law questioned, and Koby shook his head.

"The opposite. When Uta dies, this world will be cut off from reality. And everyone in it...us included, will be stuck here. Trapping all her fans in the Sing-Sing World...That's what Uta has been planning"

It doesn't explain why she wants to kill me, you thought in sweat.

"Koby, how do we stop Uta?" Luffy demanded.

"That's what I came here to find out, but I'm still not sure. But the more fighting strength we have, the better, so Helmeppo is gathering the pirates who've been trapped here. The Straw Hat crew also appears to be taking some action" Koby said, and Luffy smiled in relief.

"They were headed for the Elegia castle. Nico Robin seems to know something about what happened on this island ages ago" spoke Blueno.

"How long until Uta dies in reality?" Law wondered.

"Should be less than two hours left"

You could hear Luffy gnashing his teeth at Blueno's answer. Once you found the perfect hiding spot where Uta's soldiers were less present, both Blueno and Koby offered to go ahead and confront Uta through negotiations. They disappeared through the Cipher Pol agent's Door-Door ability.

You decided to take a short rest for the time being, Sunny jumping in your arms to snuggle in your lap as you did so. It wasn't long before the tiny mascot fell asleep, and you couldn't help but fawn a little bit at the sight. You were quick to notice Luffy's furrowed brows, his expression mirroring one of worry.

"Luffy...I'm sure Uta can be saved" you said, earning a look from the young man. "If she can't be reasoned with, we will find another way"

"Thank you, (y/n)! You comforting me is quite surprising, though. Shishishi!" Luffy grinned, and you felt your face flush.

"ONLY BECAUSE I KNOW YOU WILL TURN MORE ANNOYING IF SOMETHING WAS TO HAPPEN TO HER!" you barked, and your captain didn't help the situation by laughing out loud.

You leaned backward against the pillar you were resting at, closing your eyes to nap. You couldn't explain why, but you suddenly felt exhausted as if you were being kept up for the longest of time without being allowed to sleep. Footsteps echoed away, but when you reopened your eyes, you found yourself in a completely different area.

The ruins were replaced with their original, ivory architecture. The trees and flowers blooming as they welcomed the sunlight with open arms. A familiar scent drafted to your nose, and you turned your head to see two figures walking by an alley. The first woman was incredibly tall, dressed in a white gown with silver designs and ornaments draped all over her skirt. Notable characteristics were her golden eyes, large wings of black feathers pulled to her back in three pairs, and a sizeable plume of flame encased in halos there.

The other woman's appearance was fairly normal and average. Dark skinned with eyes that mirrored the tall lady golden ones, with long, tyrian purple hair pulled over her shoulder.

That woman following after her...I remember her from my childhood back when I was captured for the auction! you thought in shock.

Let the Heavens fall.

Those were the words spoken in your mind. You followed after them, uncaring if they saw you or not. The two women were conversing with each other, the shorter one looking slightly exasperated.

"Lady Diana, are you sure coming here is such a good idea? There's absolutely nothing here!" the dark-skinned woman spoke.

"What are you talking about? Can't you hear the wonderful lyrics the wind is bringing?" Lady Diana smiled, turning back to face her. You were taken aback by the uncanny resemblance between you and her. "You can always return home, Yunü"

"Eh?! And leave you here all alone without- LADY DIANA!"

The winged woman propelled herself in the sky, leaving the other behind. She shook her fist at the soaring woman who disappeared beyond the hill, muttering curses under her breath.

"Lady Diana's hyperfixation on mysteries and legends can be such a pain in the arse" Yunü whined, throwing her head back as she sighed to the sky. "Why would she waste her time just to follow someone's voice on an abandoned island?"

You woke up from your short dream, shooting up on your feet. This action caused Sunny to fall from your lap in disbelief, the sound of his name escaping the mascot's lips while you began to run. The others shouted your name in confusion, wondering where you were going to. They weren't able to stop you as you turned the corner of an alley and disappeared without a trace.

"Why would she run off like that? She didn't even explain anything" Luffy blinked in wonder.

Around the same moment, Luffy's friends returned from the Elegia castle with the help of Brûlée's mirror along with Oven and the Big Mom Pirates. Koby ran up to Robin, demanding her if she found anything on how to beat Uta's powers in this world.

"The old records say that those trapped in the Sing-Sing World won't be able to return to reality under their own power. No matter what" she stated, earning shocked cries from the others. "But if someone with the Sing-Sing Fruit powers uses Tot Musica, there'll be a chance"

"...Tot Musica?" Luffy repeated.

"An entity from ancient times created from human emotions. Loneliness, sadness...the shadows that fall on the soul. It's been called a Demon King before as well"

"Is it some kind of weapon?" Koby inquired, sweat rolling down his temples.

"The part I was able to read only mentioned avoiding it" Robin shook her head.

"So if the Sing-Sing Fruit user breaks this taboo, what kind of chance will we get?" Law gazed at her.

"The records say that when the Demon King is summoned with Tot Musica, it'll appear both in the world created by the Sing-Sing Fruit as well as in reality. The Demon King acts as a link between the two worlds at that point. And if the Demon King is attacked in both worlds at the same time... he'll be defeated, and that will erase the song world"

"I doubt there'd be a record unless it worked before" Oven mused. "We've gotta try it!"

"Who's gonna attack Uta-sama in reality, though?" Bartolomeo blinked.

"Well, we're all stuck in here...The only people who could strike in reality would be the Marine or Cipher-" started Helmeppo, only to be cut halfway by Koby.

"No. They won't make a move with civilian lives at stake. As valuable as this intel is, without someone to work within reality..."

"There's someone..."

Everyone turned to face the forest where two figures emerged between the bushes. A tiny version of Bepo pulling an old man on a wheelchair, his eyes brightening up at the sight of Law.

"CAPTAIN!"

"Old man Gordon-san! Uta's adopted father!" Bartolomeo exclaimed to the shock of the others

"Shanks..." Gordon mumbled. "When Shanks arrives, he'll be able to stop Uta in reality"

"Old guy, did something happen between Uta and Shanks?" Luffy demanded, and Gordon simply lowered his gaze.

"Well..."

Sensing that the old man wouldn't be much help, Luffy charged straight ahead while ignoring the others' calls of his name. His crew, however, simply sighed and smiled:

"There's no stopping our captain when he gets like that" Usopp shook his head.

"We're running out of time anyway. Might as well join him and put an end to this"

"But...how?" Koby sweated, simply earning a smirk from Zoro.

"If we need simultaneous attacks, we'll start hitting her and won't stop...until the attack on the other side starts and the timing matches up"

"I FEEL LIKE A PUNK FOR CHICKENING OUT! THERE'S NO WAY WE CAN LOSE WITH THE STRAW HATS BACKING US!" Bartolomeo exclaimed theatrically.

"Which came to my mind...Have you seen (y/n)?" Robin asked.

"Well, she ran off to somewhere at one point-" Barto began to explain while Robin's eyes widened in worry.

"She cannot come to face to face with Uta at any cost!" she exclaimed to the surprise of everyone.

"Robin-?" Nami blinked.

"If she was to encounter Tot Musica, the consequences would be disastrous!"

When you finally reached the dome, everything had been swallowed by a colorful sea of nothingness and notes. The audience and the musicians were gone, transformed into various plush toys inside the water, cries swallowed by the liquid. Uta was laying on her back at the center of her stage, legs swinging playfully as if she didn't just imprison her fans not too long ago. You came to a stop a few feet away from her, frowning at her demeanor as she turned her head to glare at you with a fake smile:

"If you came here to stop me, you will be disappointed" she stated humorlessly.

"I came here to understand" you replied. "I came on this island under another name, didn't I?"

"Another name? I was left all alone on this island with only Gordon as a friend for a long time, and I've never met anyone since then!" Uta stood up abruptly, clenching her fists tightly.

"I'm not talking about you, but rather the previous user of the Sing-Sing Fruit" you said, and she gazed at you in shock and wonder. "I...She did something unforgivable, no?"

"..."

Uta's passive mask broke into one of disturbance and borderline insanity as she clutched her face, chest heaving rapidly.

"Unforgivable? You really are the worst among all of them" she scoffed, pressing a hand over her eyes.

Your lips parted, about to ask what she meant by that when a hand short forward to grab you by the neck. In such a short time, she had teleported herself right in front of you. You were forced down on one knee, her purple eye glaring down at you in hatred.

She was about to bring the spear down, when she was abruptly stopped by the sound of someone screaming her name. Luffy had finally arrived on the scene, his expression beyond pissed. Her weapon disappeared in thin air, swinging your tied body out of the way at the same time.

Uta snapped her fingers, her notes transforming into music soldiers that charged straight at Luffy. He fought them off effortlessly, but the moment he reached Uta, you realized that he wasn't even attempting to hit her. And she knew that as well.

"What you are doing is wrong!"

"I could say that to you, Luffy" Uta responded, sending him flying with a water blast. "You need to realize that the Great Pirate Era is over. Why do you wanna be the King of the Pirates so bad, anyway?"

"To make a new era" he told her, and she slammed her foot on the ground.

"Luffy--!" Uta growled, clearly irritated by his answer.

Two note soldiers appeared at Luffy's sides, forcing him into a position similar to Gol D. Roger's execution. Uta stepped up in front of him, his straw hat in her hands.

"The Great Pirate Era began with Roger's execution...Now, Luffy, it's gonna end with yours!" she stated, starting to rip the straw hat who began to tear at the seams.

Uta knelt by Luffy's sleeping side, brushing strands of his dark hair away from his face. Holding a dagger in her hand, she used the other to put the straw hat on top of his abdomen.

"Enough is enough, Luffy..." she murmured, lifting the dagger above him. "...Bye-bye"

She brought down the dagger, about to stab Luffy straight in the heart when a warm hand stopped her midway. Uta gasped in shock and surprise, her single eye widening when she realized who was kneeling in front of her.

Uta felt herself lose her mind. After all these years, he really came back for her. Raw emotions bubbled inside her throat, unsure about what she should do. Be happy? Sad? Angry? You tried to approach her at first, only to smash your face into an invisible wall. You pressed a hand against the barrier in wonder, as it separated you from Uta.

"I never had dreams before..."

An unknown voice spoke, and the view across the barrier shifted to the island of Elegia. It was like watching a video through a transponder snail, all black and white.

There was once a kingdom known as Elegia. Musicians from all over the world gathered there to play and study under their passion, quickly becoming a bountiful country over time. However, centuries ago, a terrible calamity stroke the people of Elegia, leaving behind destruction and death.

I was the only survivor of the plight, left in the desolation of the city overrun by misery and emptiness. I could only sing for the respite of my friends and family, while I led an existence void of meaning. Days and nights, my voice would carry like an abandoned soul left by the reaper to call back, hoping that one day he would hear it.

Instead, I met an otherworldly woman from the seas.

Lady Diana.

A goddess among men, despite her oppositions to such a title. She was interested in my singing, and offered me company in exchange of songs and a friendship. Unfortunately, Lady Diana was loved by many, so her attention was often diverted to the issues of the world. As she gathered allies on her journeys, so did she make enemies.

"I would like to offer you a gift, Bragi-san" Lady Diana once told me one day as we were sitting on the grass at the hill that gave a nice view of the sea.

"A gift?" my voice had echoed in wonder.

I've never had dreams, nor hopes for the future. I've never envisaged what kind of life I would lead when Elegia was abandoned by the world. It was a gift from the heart, one that still tasted a bit sour and unusual, but gave so much more in return. To create anything out of pure imagination was enough to send my mind soaring. I was able to live again thanks to Lady Diana.

"Lady Diana! There's a piece I've been working on and I want you to hear it!" I exclaimed when she was about to depart.

She simply turned around to smile at me gently, and then explained to me that she needed to be somewhere first. She promised, with a hand hovering her heart, that she would return here to hear my song.

Days and months passed, and she never came back.

The loneliness creeped back into my heart, as I watched the horizon each day by the cliff to see if she would appear. I sang, hoping that the wind would carry my voice all the way back to her. But the wind never echoed back.

A figure draped in darkness came to the island a year after Lady Diana left. Their words would haunt me for the rest of my days.

Lady Diana will never come back. Just like the world, she left me.

Why? Why?!

Time accelerated, and you were brought to what happened 12 years ago. The Red-Haired Pirates had accosted to Elegia, renewed centuries later despite the legends of the Demon King that supposedly resting inside ruins under the castle. The citizens wanted to celebrate before Uta's departure, having the desire to hear her sing one last time. She was considered a prodigy among the scholars and the king, and the girl was happy to answer to their wishes.

But her singing beckoned the darkness sealed deep underground, a score cursed by a broken heart and dreams. On that night, they took advantage of her ignorance to unleash the Demon King. With the seal broken, Tot Musica absorbed the child and laid destruction on the kingdom.

The Red-Haired Pirates fought with all their might to save her, and her youth ended up to be their saving grace. Uta became exhausted and fell asleep, ending Tot Musica's wrath. However, the whole country was laid to waste in the process. A whole city set in flames.

With the Marines on their way, Shanks had to make a tough decision. To avoid endangering Uta, he made Gordon keep everything a secret from her. Too cruel to tell an innocent infant that she caused such a tragedy. Instead, he took the whole blame, and disappeared in the night. Leaving Uta behind to continue her dream of becoming the best singer in the world. A decision that would scar the girl for the rest of her youth, leaving only resentment and misunderstandings in her heart.

"Uta...even when we're apart, you'll always be my daughter, so...Let's part with a smile! Our beloved musician is setting off on her own!"

Voices echoed in the empty space as Uta brought her hands to cover her ears, shouting at them to shut up. She was already aware of all of this, but she simply couldn't stop the process of creating a new age.

The darkness swallowed her, and you could do nothing but watch. Random memories of hers appeared in your mind. How Shanks discovered her as a baby inside a chest. Much like his own birth. The humorous struggle of grown men trying to take care of a girl when they were constantly on the chase by Marines.

You shook your head, trying to extend a hand to reach Uta. You were able to catch her shoulder, brows furrowing when the darkness began to lash itself on you. You ignored the pain and the strikes, pulling on the young woman until she was no longer trapped in the fog.

"Give them back!"

The voice of Luffy blasting your ears was the last effort you needed to pull her out completely, both of you falling backward. It was followed by the guttural screech of Tot Musica as light surrounded your body.

Eyes shooting wide open in the real world, you pulled on the chains with a snarl, quickly getting rid of them. They evaporated in thin air as you fell back on the stage knees first. It was like a weight was lifted from your shoulders, feeling revigorated. Wasting no time, you ran to find Uta as quickly as possible.

She was resting against a destroyed column, her complexion sickly and pale. She didn't much time left to live if it continued like that. Shanks was hugging her side, trying to help her sit upward so he could administer the meds.

"If you drink this and sleep right away, you'll make it" he told her, moving the bottle close to her lips.

"Shanks...I didn't wanna see you again. But...I missed you" she smiled painfully.

"Stop talking! Hurry and drink!"

However, the fighting has yet to stop while Marines kept firing up at citizens who were still under the Sing-Sing Fruit control. It seems that even if both group defeated Tot Musica in the two worlds, it was already too late to save their souls. Which meant that your comrades and the others were still stuck in the dream world.

"Oi! I thought beating the Demon King would bring their souls back!" a familiar voice exclaimed as you watched Katakuri trying to handle his slumbering sister, Brûlée.

He certainly came here to save his siblings after learning what happened. Uta pleaded to the audience to stop fighting, but their souls were already swallowed by Tot Musica's power. She coughed blood on the side, and Shanks hurried her to drink the meds before it was too late.

"I have to sing. I have to bring them all back. I can't sleep!" Uta refused.

She pushed the bottle away, and it would have broken on the ground if you didn't catch it in time. The two gazed at you in disbelief at your sudden appearance, more so when you walked up to Uta with the bottle in hand and knelt in front of her.

"You..." she croaked.

"You have to sleep" you cut in, bringing forward the medicine. "Else, you die"

"...Their souls are still there. I can't simply leave them" Uta shook her head, sniveling. "My singing is the only way to save them-"

"They were swallowed by Tot Musica, no? Which means the bastard hasn't disappeared yet. If you can transport me back in the dream world, I can certainly do something about it"

"Only the user of the Sing-Sing Fruit can summon Tot Musica. My daughter doesn't have enough time to bring you in and back-" Shanks stated grimly, but you lifted one finger to interrupt him.

"Then I have to ask to original owner of the Sing-Sing Fruit to do it: Bragi. And I know where to find him, but I need Uta's powers for a few more seconds..."

"You mean...There's a way for her to live?"

"Why...?" You blinked when you gazed back at Uta, who was on the verge to break down. "I've done all those horrible things to you, and yet..."

"This hatred you feel toward me is not your own to start with. There's a lot of people who wants to keep you around a while longer. After all, your singing has the power to make people happy" you explained, moving to grip her hand. "Music can move people's hearts, move them forward even in hard times. This is a gift that shouldn't be wasted. Not for this world"

With the hand you were grabbing, you offered the bottle to her with the other, smiling cheekily:

"Besides, I wouldn't hear the end of it from Luffy if I didn't help out one of his friends in need. So you better give me a song that goes to my rhythm this time, because I'm about to show some tough love to our guest"

"....Eh. I know the perfect one" Uta smiled through her tears.

As you took the stage, or at least what it remained, familiar lyrics echoed in your head. The world around you disappeared as you were transported into another dreamworld, watching wordlessly as the stadium recovered completely as if no battles took place here. It was the same as when you first arrived here, except for the crystals of the rooftop emanating a deep purple color instead of their beautiful rainbow-like colors.

The mirrors on the stage showed disturbance, glitching once in awhile as if someone punched a stereo too hard. A single blue spotlight hovered your form while everything grew silent.

Then, something began to shine ahead. You squinted your eyes to see it better, and realized that it looked like some kind of yellow orb floating there. You felt a pull toward it, and you began to walk in its direction when an earthquake shook the whole stadium. A dark shadow manifested at top of the stage, growing in sizes until it reached past the rooftop. Its form became clearer, taking the shape of Tot Musica in a more monstrous form than the last time you saw it.

Its elongated arms stretched to grab the yellow orb, snatching it away. Bringing the orb to its mouth, Tot Musica swallowed the whole thing in one mouthful.

"Souls.....Mine..." the demon growled.

"They were never yours to begin with" you scowled. "I'm gonna make you spit each one of them!"

Tot Musica summoned music soldiers that surrounded you on the stage. They held their spears and shields high, aimed directly at you. One of them took the first steps by charging, thrusting the spear to impale you with it. However, its face matched one of surprise when a microphone and its stand appeared by magic in your hand.

Holding it in both hands, you swung the microphone's stand to hit the music solder straight in the face. It disappeared, defeated, in a smoke of notes while the whole stage began to light up in hot colors while the spotlight turned red. You turned your body to attack the other soldier who tried to sneak up on you from behind, and met the same fate as his predecessor.

My mem'ries so good and awful

It seems they gave me a grudge

But I have left bitterness and

Resentment behind me

And it is all thanks to him

You twirled the microphone in one hand like a baton, strutting on the walkway toward the stage where Tot Musica was standing. More music soldiers appeared and ran straight at you.

Look, it's the clowns who think they know

How crushing loneliness can be

You know nothing 'til you come with me!

You jumped and brought down the stand to pummel the music soldiers to the ground.

And run wild!

Release your rage

Let the winds of wrath blow them away

The enemies were blasted away as you kicked another one out of your way. Unfortunately, the more you defeated, the more others spawned to replace them. Music blaring through the speakers with each step you took.

Not gonna live in compliance-iance-iance

I'm not playin' the victim, no more

Time to go rage!

Let's punish them all

The catwalk seems to stretch indefinitely while swarms of music soldiers rushed from the stands. Blasts of colors came out from the microphone as you aimed them at your opponents, acting like a makeshift shotgun.

For their love;

I'm done trying to trust

Not gonna live in compliance-iance-iance

Gonna play with fire, backlit

By the flames

Tot Musica shot several laser beams in your direction, forcing you off the stage and into the fake audience made of shadows and intangible bodies. They grabbed your limbs to shut you down, strings of a deep red color tying itself around your body like a rope.

By the end, everything turned to red

It was brutal yet so beautiful

A kind of red, pulls you in,

And won't let you look away

Make you feel a bit feverish

The strings began to hurt against your skin, as if they were burning you. You struggled in their hold, a cry escaping your lips when they tightened to squeeze the life out of you.

Scarlet crimson lit up from behind

So bright'll make you go blind

Hypnotizing every eye

That sees its red aura blazing

Held captive by the allure

My heart got tangled up bad

And now it's frayed

No matter how much I've learned

I understand but my anger's here to stay

The words rush out

You released a snarl and moved wildly to break the strings. You pushed back the shadows and removed the binds quickly as possible before charging at the stage from the side stands.

Let's run wild!

Release your rage

Let the winds of wrath blow them away

Not gonna live in compliance-iance-iance

I'm not playin' the victim, no more

The mirrors on the stage returned on to broadcast you as you avoided more of Tot Musica's lasers, jumping out of the way and bending as they grazed you by a hair.

Time to go rage

Let's punish them all

For their love; I'm done trying to trust

Not gonna live in compliance-iance-iance

Gonna play with fire, backlit

By the flames

Tot Musica swung one of its grotesque arm toward you, knocking down music soldiers by doing so who were standing in its way. You leaped in time to avoid the attack, running down the length of it. However, Tot Musica simply shook you off by sending you flying into the crystals of the rooftop.

Your breath caught in your throat when your back collided against the sturdy surface. Your body bounced back on the stage a few feet away in front of Tot Musica, the demon releasing a ferocious howl that shook the world. You stood back up on one knee, teeth grinding as you glared at the demon.

Though my anger exhausts me

And I fall apart

My actions may cost me but

I can't let go of the past

I refuse to move on

You staggered on your feet, the wheel appearing under your feet as you fueled the last of your energy and emotions into one last attack. Tot Musica opened its mouth wide, preparing to shoot a laser beam to eradicate you.

I know if you would listen,

You would understand

It's time to enter into my bad

Dreamland you made for me

And suffer like I have

A summoning circle appeared in front of Tot Musica before he could launch his attack, red smoke and darkness dripping from the opening as time slowed down.

So let's run wild!

A taloned hand shot forward and punched the demon in the face. Wild explosions of colors were blasted with each hits, giving no respite to Tot Musica between attacks.

Release your rage

Let the winds of wrath blow them away

Not gonna live in compliance-iance-iance

Gonna play with fire, backlit

Time to go rage

Let's punish them

For their love; I'm done trying to trust

Not gonna live in compliance-iance-iance

One final punch sent Tot Musica crashing backward into the installations of the main stage, the huge mirror cracking and breaking under its weight.

Gonna play with fire, backlit

By the flames

You heaved a breath, the wheel disappearing along with Tot Musica inside a fog by the new opening you created. The ground rumbled while the demon dissipated in thin air, the remains scattering in the hole. Wasting no time, you followed after it. As you passed the threshold, it felt like you entered another dimension. An empty place filled with stars like you were lost in space.

The sight destabilized you at first, your breath taken away by the sheer beauty of it. It was...familiar, and yet you don't really remember if you ever visited a place like this. It only reminded you of that time when you visited a cave with Rayleigh, dark and clammy but it was filled with fireflies that illuminated some spots in an enchanting way.

But you weren't inside a cave at the moment.

"You left me..."

It was a quick whisper, one that you almost didn't catch by how quiet the voice was. Your attention was caught by a glowing orb a few feet away from you. It was floating in the void gently, pulsing with energy. You walked toward it, your feet echoing loudly in the space like you were touching glass.

"And now you are going to take them, too..."

"They do not belong to you, Bragi" you stopped in front of the orb, your hands stretching forward to grab it. "It is really worth it to go all through this trouble just to not be alone? To put the lives of people and the world in jeopardy?"

"You have put everyone's life in the fray, Lady Diana"

You clutched the orb against your chest when the wind picked up, the stars all around you disappearing to leave only darkness. Tot Musica, or rather the manifestation of the demon's soul, appeared. Its elongated arms enrolled around your frame and began to squeeze the life out of you.

"They took everything from you, and in return, you laid at their feet your judgement. Your loneliness and misery leave an exquisite smell and taste to one's mouth" the distorted voice of the demon spoke, its grin growing in sizes. "It was only normal for us to have you in the end. A song of death in your honor"

"Stop calling me by that name!" you shouted, gritting your teeth. "Whatever actions one of my past selves took has nothing to do with what I'm doing now!"

"The fears and doubts of men...given the name Tot Musica. Now flee and cower, bow down to one's banner...I shall carry on your will, your 'gift' that you gave us centuries ago. Lady Diana"

"Carry my will...What are you talking about?" you sweated, eyes widening when Tot Musica opened its jaw wide.

"We heard your prayer, loud and clear. Allow us, Lady Diana..."

Back to the real word, rain began to fall down harder than before. Shanks held Uta close to his chest, the girl now sleeping soundlessly after she finally drank the medicine. The mysterious woman was also fast asleep on the stage after she was transported to the dream world one last time.

It was impossible to tell what was actually happening in there, nor if the others were still safe for the moment. The audience were still stuck in their hypnotized-sleeping state, attacking anyone on sight. Yet, they seem to be less violent than earlier.

That's when an earthquake shook the whole island as dark clouds gathered and lightnings illuminated the sky. Shanks sensed a strange aura all around him, and he knew he wasn't the only one feeling it. His men were also on edge, their attention gathered at the ocean.

There was a deep rumble, like an echo coming from the depths of the sea. The waves grew in sizes and wildness, until they came to a sudden stop and everything calmed down. Everyone held their breath, the silence deafening as a large shadow traced itself under the water. Like a snake, the shadow slithered under the platform of the stage, and right where your unconscious body laid. A strange sound echoed, similar to a cloth being ripped apart.

You could only see the void inside of Tot Musica's mouth. An eternal darkness that was waiting for you if you let it consume your very essence. And yet, the thought didn't scare you as much as it should. Your body reacted differently, but your mind was...weirdly at ease. As if a part of you accepted your fate. As Tot Musica's sharp teeth were about to dig into your skin, the demon suddenly came to a stop. It stood frozen with its mouth wide open.

As above, so below. What is promised to me, shall remain mine.

Tot Musica flinched, and you almost break into a sweat when the stars disappeared one by one, replaced by millions of red eyes that stared right through you, each of a different size. A strange growl resonated from them, the sound similar to a rumble underwater. Arms made of inky shadows draped over Tot Musica's body, the monster being held by a bigger one.

The hold on you disappeared, and began to fall toward the ground while Tot Musica was being swallowed by the darkness. The abyss was looking right back at you. Yet, you didn't meet the ground and instead passed through it like it was a body made of water. Filling your lungs until you couldn't breathe anymore and struggled to get back to the surface.

But when the feeling disappeared and opened your eyes, you were back with the stars on an empty plane with the ground reflecting the night sky. You were still holding the glowing orb to your chest, and now you wondered what exactly you were supposed to do with it.

Soft crying echoed in front of you, and your gaze settled on a hunching, white figure among the stars. The person had the appearance of a young man dressed in a simple toga, his long hair similar to fresh snow pulled into a low ponytail. His shoulders shook while you took careful steps in his direction, your voice echoing:

"Are you...Bragi?" you wondered.

"My name will be long forgotten...It doesn't matter anymore who I am" the man responded stiffly, shaking his head. "I can feel myself slowly disappearing..."

"Tot Musica was born from your despair and misery...Did this woman really mean that much to you?" you wondered while Bragi scoffed under his breath, mindlessly tossing an invisible pebble into the empty space.

"She was everything. She gave me a reason to live, and yet still abandoned me like the rest of the world"

"You don't know that for sure-"

"OF COURSE I KNOW!" Bragi snapped, whipping around to face you.

But at the sight of you, his anger crumbled back to sadness. He crawled his way to you, gripping tightly the cloth of your shorts and pressing his forehead against your stomach. Tears cascaded down his cheeks as he wept:

"You...look just like her! But I know better! On that day this person- this thing- came to me...I lost everything..." he sniffed pathetically.

"...She never wanted to abandon you. Fate...simply decided of other things" you stated, gazing at the golden orb in your arms.

You extended one hand to Bragi who stared at it silently for the longest of time. Begrudgingly, he took it and you helped him stand back up on his feet. He still looked miserable, and you huffed under your breath.

"You have to free those souls. Or else this will be meaningless. I know that you have the power to do it, Bragi" you said, showing him the golden orb.

"..."

He didn't even attempt to stare at you, too busy brooding about the past and a woman that was long gone. You wanted to be irritated with him, but you couldn't bring yourself to smash his head through the ground to knock some sense into him. Instead, you inhaled sharply as embarrassment quickly overcame you at what you were about to do.

You hoped this world was soundproof.

I recall that day

We played together by the sea

Just you and me

The lyrics flowed from you, as if you knew them you entire life. And perhaps a part of you did, from a long time ago. While your throat and voice wasn't used to such a feat (and you were pretty sure you sounded more like a dead animal), it seems to earn the attention of Bragi who looked up at you in surprise and wonder.

Still that scent of ocean

Seems to fade each passing day

It slips away

So I sing an old familiar song

I hope you know the one

I will sing to call you back to me

You brought the orb forward, almost pushing it into Bragi's hands. He stared silently at the glowing object, before a soft smile tugged on his lips. He opened his mouth, and the rest of the lyrics flowed perfectly in harmony:

I need you to hear it

Need you to believe in

Something out there beyond the open sea

Out in the starlight

I need you to hear it

Need you to believe it

There's a wind stirring my wings

That is always beckoning

Calling me above into the open sky

The orb floated from his hands into the sky, reminding you of one of those lanterns you saw at the festival back in Wano. It began to glow more brightly, exploding into millions of lights like fireflies.

I recall a smile

Unshakeable and self-assured

Invincible

Now it hides behind the breaking waves

Upon the shore

Yet I see more

I know every word and every note

I'd never forget it

Because I know it came from you

Tried my best to hear it

Trying to believe in

You and me having one final goodbye

I'll see you waving

Trying to believe it

I want to believe it

That your song is now my song

Through your voice I'll carry on

And one day we'll fly

You and I in the open sky

You could only watch in wonder as the world around began to brighten up because of the fireflies and the stars that seem to shine brighter than ever. You missed the look Bragi was giving you, too focused on the beauty of everything surrounding you.

I need you to hear it

Need you to believe in

Something out there beyond the open sea

Out in the starlight

That one day we'll meet again

And continue this dreamland

In the gleaming dawn

We'll wake up once again

The world began to fade around you, and slowly became drowsy out of sudden. Bragi continued to sing, not bothered about the stars disappearing one by one. You slid on your knees when the feeling became unbearable, your eyes closing by themselves.

The last thing you saw were the gleaming lights around Bragi before he also faded into the abyss with them.

I wanted you to hear this song when you came back...

It seems the wind carried my voice all the way back to you, once more...

The dawn finally arrived, and each person affected by Uta's Devil Fruit fell into a normal slumber. You laid unconscious on the stage, your chest heaving rapidly. Someone approached your form, and signaled for his men to take arm. The Marines who were standing at the shore all directed their rifle toward you, ready to fire at any given order.

"Now then, we will take the 'devil' with us" stated Kizaru. "We will also take the arch criminal who almost destroyed the world along. I hope you don't mind, Red Hair?~..."

The Red Hair pirates' answer was simple and quick: they pointed their weapons right back at the Admiral who simply scoffed in amusement at the sight.

"I take it you won't cooperate, then?~ Oh well, killing the Devil itself is better than some sleepy girl with dangerous powers"

"This woman...saved my daughter " Shanks spoke lowly. "She's a precious part our family, so for that I am beyond grateful and in her debt. If you wanna take my daughter's savior and her...you'd better be ready to die!"

A powerful wave of Conqueror Haki surged from Shanks, knocking down some Marines and even took down a handful of vice admirals. Kizaru sweated at the display of strength and will, and decided to back down from capturing his targets. The Marines were quick to depart from the island, while the Red Hair pirates slowly began to pack things up before leaving. Shanks' first mate helped to get Uta's sleeping form on board of the Red Force as Shanks remained on the stage where you were still sleeping.

"...A demon, they say?" Shanks mused under his breath, his eyes training on your form. "...What part of this woman is exactly evil?"

When you woke up, you were back on the Thousand Sunny who was sailing away from Elegia. Some of your crewmates were still fast asleep, and it took some time for them to finally wake up after such a long slumber. They didn't know what happened in the dreamworld after Tot Musica consumed them, only that were stuck in a dreamless state for so long. The Red Hair pirates had left with Uta, and this is all where your knowledge stopped at.

Until a few weeks later, when a package destined to you suddenly showed up on the Sunny. It contained only a seashell recorder, to which you couldn't help but smirk as you listened to its content. You continued to listen to the song on repeat, to the disbelief and pure surprise of your crew.

"I thought you didn't like listening to Uta's songs" Robin said one day as she gazed at where your sat on the main mat's seat. She smiled secretly as you scrunched your nose in thought of a snarky response, but came with none.

"Maybe I grew fond of it" you shrugged with a sigh as the recorder stopped.

"Shishishi! (y/n) likes Uta's songs!" Luffy grinned, earning a dark look from you.

Yet, you pressed the button on top of the seashell once more.
