Chapter 7 | Jungle Pool SOS!

~Arabella's POV~

Hold on a second.

Am I dreaming?

We're in Japan, right? And Japan isn't really well-known for its tropical locals... Well, at least not the last time I checked anyway...

Haruhi and I looked at each other before looking back at the scenery.

It appeared as if we were in the middle of a tropical jungle.

"Behold my little girls,"

Tamaki was suddenly behind us.

"Bask in the beauty of tropical birds! Aren't they breathtaking? I wonder what they're called..." he said.

"Um... where was the exit, again?" Haruhi asked.

I nodded. "My thoughts exactly."

"Oh, my little girls! Try to make the most of this down time and just relax! We always are worried about keeping our good looks day and night, we deserve a vacation!" Tamaki said before he poured himself a drink and laid down in a lawn chair.

"Personally, I think this is pointless and a waste of time, so can Arabella and I go home now?" Haruhi said.

"Yeah, can we? Please?" I whined.

"We should really be studying and I've got a ton of laundry to do today..." Haruhi said.

"Same here, only I have to mow the lawn and clean my room," I said. "And I know for a fact that Mom will NOT be happy to find out I've been skipping out on chores."

Haruhi sighed and looked at Tamaki. "Senpai, just where are we, anyway?" she said.

"Yeah, if we're being held someplace against our will, can you at least tell us where we are???" I said.

Kyoya jumped in and told us. "This place is a brand new theme park that my family, the Ootori Group, runs. It's called the Tropical Aqua-Garden." he said.

"I don't understand, I thought the Ootori Group ran hospitals..." Haruhi said.

"And, I thought your family was just focused on the medical business, Kyoya-senpai." I said.

"Yes, but my family likes to diversify and try different things. Besides, this place could be classified as a healing facility. It's therapeutic. I mean, think of all the people who are overworked and would just love a vacation in the south tropics? However, they may not be able to get the time off or they may not be able to afford it. Those people can now seek refuge here at this theme park and reduce their stress levels. The Ootori Group's main concern has always been for the health and well-being of the general public." Kyoya said.

"It sounds suspicious if you ask me." Haruhi said.

"The park doesn't officially open until next month, but the Host Club was given a special advanced invitation." Kyoya said.

Tamaki sighed happily. "Ah... This is so relaxing... We don't have to worry about keeping all our guests entertained for once... It's truely like a holiday for handsome, young soldiers. I guess that's what you'd call it." he said.

Haruhi and I rolled our eyes.

Honey suddenly ran up to us. "Haru-chan! Ara-chan! You wanna share some coconut juice with me??? Or do you wanna try a piece of the mango cake???" he said excitedly.

"Yeah, sure, I'll have some coconut juice with you." Haruhi said.

"Me too." I agreed.

Honey-senpai laughed and then ran off, probably to go get the juice or something.

Haruhi chuckled after him. I smiled.

"Haruhi! Arabella! You wanna check out the water slide???"

Hikaru and Kaoru appeared behind us.

They changed their hair colors back to normal (thank God), so no more pink twin and blue twin.

Hikaru suddenly bit into a banana he was holding.

"Hang on... What's the deal with those cover-ups you're both wearing?" Hikaru asked us both.

Haruhi and I looked at each other.

We were, indeed, wearing cover-ups over our swimsuits, however, for different reasons.

It had happened earlier.

~Third Person POV~

Haruhi and Arabella were just looking around, wondering where the hell they were, when they were suddenly both grabbed by a hand.

They both looked up to see it was Hikaru and Kaoru.

"Come on, Haruhi, Arabella, let's get you both more... comfortable..." they had said in mischievous voices. Then they had smirked at the girls.

Both Haruhi and Arabella didn't like the sound of that.

Then, before Haruhi or Arabella even got to speak, the twins had dragged them over to the changing room.

Then they had shoved the girls towards their maids, who were waiting by the dressing room door.

"Here. Do what you've got to do." Hikaru and Kaoru said to the maids.

"Okay! We'll do what we can!" the first maid said.

"Miss Fujioka, Miss Hashimoto, just follow me." the second maid said.

Haruhi and Arabella both gulped.

"B-But WHY...?" Haruhi asked nervously.

"W-What are you two gonna DO TO US...?" Arabella asked, also just as nervous.

Suddenly, the two maids yanked Haruhi and Arabella into the girls' changing room and slammed the door behind them.

Then, they began ripping off Haruhi and Arabella's clothes.

"W-What are you DOING?!" Haruhi shouted.

"St-Stop THAT!!!" Arabella shouted.

"But they asked us to find you two a cute swimsuit for each of you to wear." the first maid said.

"Yes, they also told us that you two would prefer bikinis, is that correct?" the second said.

Both Haruhi and Arabella's eyes widened.

"Those bastards..." Arabella mumbled darkly.

"I'm going to kill them both..." Haruhi said.

"We brought you all of our mother's latest designs to choose from!" Hikaru and Kaoru shouted through the door.

Tamaki walked up to the twins. "What are you twins doing?" he asked.

Hikaru and Kaoru shushed him.

Haruhi and Arabella stared at the many varieties of swimsuits that were in the dressing room.

"Are you ready, Miss Fujioka, Miss Hashimoto? It's time to pick one!" the maids said together.

Both Haruhi and Arabella sighed.

"Thanks... but I don't need a swimsuit." Haruhi said.

"Same here." Arabella said.

"Why don't you let us select some for you?" the maids both asked.

Tamaki leaned in closer to the door to hear better.

One of the maids pulled out a bikini for Arabella. "Here, Miss Hashimoto, how about this one? It looks like it would complement you nicely."

"No... I don't want a bikini...!" Arabella said.

"The same goes for me." Haruhi said.

"Oh, but, Miss Fujioka! You would look so good in this one!" the second maid said as she held up another bikini.

"In fact, you would look rather darling in this as well, Miss Hashimoto!" the first maid said as she held up the exact same bikini the other maid was holding, only it was a different color.

Haruhi and Arabella just stared.

"But... That's nothing more than a couple of strings...!" Haruhi protested.

"Yeah... I'm definitely NOT wearing THAT...!!! Hell will freeze over before I'll wear something like THAT...! I mean, it's just a couple of brightly colored STRINGS!!!" Arabella shouted.

Tamaki gasped from outside the door.

Finally, the maids eventually shoved Haruhi and Arabella into a swimsuit.

Haruhi wore a pink once-piece with a swim cap and a white skirt. Arabella wore a pink bikini.

"Hey! How is this fair??? Haruhi gets to wear a one-piece with a skirt and I'm stuck wearing a bright pink bikini!" Arabella complained.

"I'm sorry, Miss Hashimoto, but we just HAD TO put you in this one! It brings out your skin tone and your eyes! It's a great color on you! And it complements your body figure as well. Especially if you want to get boys to notice you." the first maid said.

"But... but I don't WANT boys to notice me...! I'm fine just being forever alone...!" Arabella said.

"Okay, Miss Fujioka, this is the least revealing thing we could find, are you happy with it?" the second maid said to Haruhi.

"Erm... I guess it's better than all the other ones in here... I can live with it..." Haruhi said. The second maid clapped her hands.

"Oh, yay! And I must say, it looks quite good on you!" she said.

Haruhi sighed before she and Arabella were shoved out of the changing room by both the maids.

When Haruhi and Arabella were out of the changing room, Tamaki immediately approached Haruhi and looked at her.

After he got a good look, he froze, turned as red as a tomato, and held out a yellow cover-up.

"Uh... Senpai...?" Haruhi asked.

"Just... just hurry up and put it on... A proper young woman should not show that much skin until she is married..." Tamaki said as he looked anywhere but at Haruhi.

When he caught sight of Arabella, he gasped and held out another cover-up, this one green. "You too, Arabella! God, yours is even WORSE...! I can't believe those shady twins put you in a BIKINI... This time for REAL! Don't worry, my little girl, once I get ahold of them, I'll kill them for you! Okay?"

Arabella immediately grabbed the green cover-up and put it on. "Thank you, Senpai! You're a lifesaver...!" she said as she got the cover-up on.

~Arabella's POV~

When I finished up, Hikaru and Kaoru were just staring at Haruhi and I.

"Gosh... Tono ruins everything..." the twins said together. I rolled my eyes.

"But, wait... so you're not going to swim...?" Hikaru asked before he finished up his banana and discarded the peel on the ground.

"You do swim, don't you?" Kaoru asked.

"We can swim just as good as the next person, but this just isn't our idea of fun." Haruhi explained. I nodded, confirming this.

"Yeah, I'm not big on water parks. We're just going to be goofing off the entire time." I said.

"Honestly, I'd rather be at home. And I don't see what's so great about this place." Haruhi said.

"Exactly. All you really need to play in the water is a plastic pool." I added. Haruhi nodded.

Hikaru and Kaoru looked as if this term was foreign to them. "A plastic pool? What's that?" they asked.

"Well, they're about this big," Haruhi said as she spread her arms out wide. "And to use it you have to pump them full of air."

"Yeah, usually they're common for little kids. In fact, my brother and I used to have one when we were younger." I said.

Hikaru and Kaoru looked at me. "Wait, you have a brother?"

I nodded. "Yeah, so?"

"We thought you were an only child." they said.

"Nope. I have one younger brother." I said.

"Can we meet him?" Hikaru and Kaoru asked.

"Nope." I immediately said.

I didn't want Daniel to scare away the only friends I have. Besides, if I unleash Daniel on the poor Host Club, he'll probably kill them all one way or another.

And that's the LAST THING I needed.

"Aw, you're no fun." the twins said together.

"So? Live with it." I said.

"Anyhow, the thing you're talking about isn't a pool, you dunces." Hikaru said.

"It's an inflatable raft, DUH." Kaoru said.

"Plus, there's no way something that small could be used as a pool." Hikaru said.

"Exactly." Kaoru said.

"Guys, it's an inflatable pool! Haven't you ever seen little kids playing in one?" Haruhi said.

Tamaki suddenly appeared behind the twins and slapped them.

Then, he pulled them to the side.

"You idiots," Tamaki whispered to the twins. "If Haruhi and Arabella both think and say it's a pool, then it's a pool! Don't go embarrassing them! My little girls can't help that they're both ignorant commoners!"

"So, what you're saying is that we lie to them?" the twins whispered back. "Is that what you mean by what you're saying?"

"I can't help but think we should be offended by that..." Haruhi whispered to me. I nodded.

"Nevermind that, we've got a question for ya'." Hikaru said to Tamaki.

"Why did you make Haruhi put on that yellow monstrosity?" Kaoru asked.

"I thought for sure you'd be all, 'I wanna see Haruhi in a swimsuit'. Not making her cover up like that." Hikaru said.

"That was surprising." Kaoru said.

Tamaki turned red. "I... I made Arabella cover up too...!" he said.

"Yeah, but you weren't freaking out as much at the idea of Arabella..."

"... wearing a bikini."

"Ha! He made Haruhi cover up because he didn't want anyone seeing her in a bathing suit except for himself." the twins said.

"Do you think that's really it?" Hikaru asked.

"Oh yes, he must be one of those jealous pervert types." Kaoru said. Then they both snickered.

"That's pretty twisted..." Hikaru said.

Tamaki broke out into cold sweat. "Th-That's not it at all...! I was trying to protect both of my daughters' innocence as any father or guardian would! After all, even if they're both wearing swimsuits, it's NOT decent for a lady to go walking around HALF NAKED in front of BOYS!!! And--"

"Uh, boss?" Hikaru said.

"Look behind you." Kaoru said.

Tamaki slowly turned around and saw Haruhi and I.

"You know we can both hear you, right?" I asked.

Haruhi just gave Tamaki a look.

Suddenly, Honey appeared. "Haru-chan! Ara-chan! You wanna go play in the current pool with me???" he said.

"Naw, we're not gonna swim today." Haruhi said.

"Wait, hold on... Honey, you know how to swim, don't you? Do you even still need that float?" I said.

Honey was wearing a donut-shaped floaty with bunnies on it around his waist.

"No! It just looks cuter this way, ya' know?" Honey said cheerfully. Then, he pranced away.

"Huh, he's right... Those bunnies are pretty adorable..." Haruhi said. I nodded.

"He's so innocent." Hikaru and Kaoru said.

"No way! You've got it all wrong!"

Suddenly, the roar of a powerful motor was heard.

Then, the ground began to shake.

"Is... is that Renge???" Haruhi asked.

Oh boy...

Renge came out of the ground on a platform.

"How does she do that??? It's like she FOLLOWS US..." Haruhi said.

"I think she does..." I said.

"That outfit's pretty impressive." Tamaki commented.

Renge was wearing a black bikini and a strange blue tattoo on the right side of her stomach.

She was also holding an umbrella.

"What's with the tattoo on your stomach?" Kaoru asked.

"Oh, this? You don't recognize it? I'm cos-playing!" Renge said.

"As who?" Hikaru asked.

"Lala!" Renge replied.

"Lala?" Kaoru repeated. "Like in the manga magazine?"

"Perfect teeth and slender frame! Her blue eyes that light up young mens' faces! Her singing voice!" Renge said.

"I had no idea who you were supposed to be." Tamaki said.

"Hey, boss. Are you sure it's okay for Renge to be dressed..." Hikaru started.

"... like that?" Kaoru finished.

"Hm? Yeah, that's okay." Tamaki said.

"And why is that?" Hikaru and Kaoru asked.

"Because it's cos-play...?" Tamaki said.

"Listen up, boys... and Arabella! You obviously need help understanding Haninozuka's hidden motive!" Renge said.

"What are you talking about?" Tamaki asked.

"Think about what he said to you earlier." Renge said.

"No! It just looks cuter this way, ya' know?"

"He's not being as sweet and innocent as you think!" Renge said.

"I agree. Just try putting the word 'I' at the beginning of that sentence." Kyoya said.

"No! It just looks cuter this way, ya' know?"

"I look cute!"

All our eyes widened.

"He planned that???" we all said in surprise.

"That's Haninozuka for you! He wants to make sure the roll as boy lolita is securely his and his only! He wants to make sure he keeps his rank. I should give him more credit! He's a lot smarter than I thought!" Renge said before she was suddenly lowered back underground on the platform.

"Hey! Look at this everybody!"

We turned to see Mori swimming in the current pool with Honey on his back.

"Check this out! Even though we're swimming really fast, we never go farther than we are now!" Honey shouted as Mori swam.

"So what's up with him?" Tamaki asked.

"Could he really be that smart...?" Haruhi asked.

"I have no idea..." I mumbled.

Suddenly, Tamaki was blasted in the face by a beam of water.

"Ha ha! I got ya'!" Hikaru said as he held a water gun in his arms. Kaoru held one too.

"Come on, boss, let's go. Let's have a water gun fight!" Kaoru said.

"It'll be me and Kaoru against you. If you get hit in the face, you lose. Whaddya' say?" Hikaru said as Tamaki rubbed his face with a towel, trying to get dry again.

"Forget it. Why would I want to subject myself to a childish game like that?" Tamaki huffed.

Hikaru and Kaoru just chuckled before they grabbed ahold of Haruhi and I.

Hikaru spun Haruhi around. "Hey, Haruhi! I say it's time you and I got married! Then we'll honeymoon in Fiji!" he said.

"Yeah! Haruhi'll marry Hikaru, and Arabella will marry me! What do you say, Arabella? You and me, get married? Then, after the wedding, we'll honeymoon in... Oh! I know! Paris France! So, what do you think, my darling?" Kaoru said as he held me against him. I blushed hard.

"I... I, uh...!" is all I could say.

"Hey, Hikaru! I think I heard an 'I do'! What about you?" Kaoru said.

"I think I heard it too! Don't you think, Haruhi?" Hikaru said.

There was silence for about one second before Tamaki picked up a water gun and started pumping it. "Do you two really think I'd let my little girls marry you guys...?" he said. Then, he turned around and pointed the water gun at us. "Daddy says NO!" Then, he sprayed.

Haruhi immediately jumped out of the way, but I wasn't fast enough; Hikaru and Kaoru used me as a human shield to block the water.

I ended up drenched.

Hikaru and Kaoru then ran off.

Tamaki gasped. "Oh, my little girl...! I'm so sorry! I was aiming for the shady twins...!" he said.

I just stood there for a second. "Tamaki?"

"Yes, my daughter?"

"... Hand me that water gun on the chair." I said as I pointed to a water gun that wasn't being used.

Tamaki grabbed the water gun off the chair and gave it to me. I pumped it full of water.

"What do ya' say you and I teach those boys a lesson in revenge?" I said as I smiled evilly. It took Tamaki a second to get it, but then he smiled too.

"Let's do it." he said.

So, Tamaki and I chased Hikaru and Kaoru around the water park, spraying water at them along the way.

"We're gonna get you guys!!!" Tamaki shouted as we chased them. Then, he suddenly jumped and slid sideways.

"SIDEWAYS LEAPING SHOT!!!" Tamaki yelled as he slid. Then, he sprayed water at Hikaru and Kaoru, who didn't get hit because they blocked Tamaki's blast by using wooden shields.

"Hey! That's cheating!!!" Tamaki shouted as he landed on his feet.

Tamaki ran toward Hikaru and Kaoru.

But I got to them first.

I sneaked up on them from behind before they suddenly turned around and saw me.

But it was too late.

I sprayed water in their faces.

"Ha! Bullseye! I got ya'! Revenge is so sweet!" I said.

Tamaki smiled as he ran. "Oh, good job, my little girl! You showed them--"

Then, slipped on a banana peel.

The banana peel from the banana Hikaru was eating earlier.

Tamaki screamed as he fell and slid across the ground.

He kept sliding until he slammed headfirst into a large statue.

We stared at him until the statue suddenly glowed red.

What the...?

I turned to see that Honey was playing cheerfully in the wave pool.

Suddenly, a gigantic wave came out of nowhere.

Honey screamed.

Then, the wave collapsed on top of Honey, engulfing him in the water.

We all gasped.

"Honey-senpai!" Haruhi shouted.

"Mitsukuni!" Mori said. Then he ran towards the wave pool...

Before he slipped on the same banana peel Tamaki slipped on.

Mori fell to the ground and slid.

"Mori-senpai???" Haruhi said.

"Everyone, we're going after Honey-senpai!" Tamaki said. Then he pointed at a nearby pool. "That pool looks like the quickest way! Charge!

We all ran towards the pool.

"Wait!" Kyoya called after us. "I wouldn't go--"

Just as we were about to enter the pool, a bunch of alligators jumped out at us, their mouths wide open.

We all stood there for a second before we screamed and ran away from the pool.

"Okay! So we can't choose that pool! Let's try this way next!" Tamaki said before he saw another alligator. He screamed and immediately backed away.

"They're here too!" Hikaru and Kaoru shouted.

"And here!" Haruhi said as she scrambled away from another alligator.

"What's with all the alligators...?!" I said, out of breath.

"Beats me..." Tamaki said.

"Those alligators are part of the park's wild animal exhibit. I guess it is kind of dangerous to let them run wild...," Kyoya said. "If we're going to find Honey we'll have to go through the jungle. Here's a map of the entire park. This is our current location. We need to get here. I have a feeling that's where Honey probably ended up. Distance-wise, we're talking about eight hundred meters."

"There looks like a bunch of undeveloped areas..." Haruhi said.

"Any ideas about what might be lurking in them?" I asked Kyoya.

"Since they're still being developed, I'm afraid I don't know." Kyoya said.

Hikaru gulped. "Well, whatever's out there, it might be more dangerous..."

"... than alligators..." Kaoru finished.

"Okay! This is now a mission of survival! I know we can make it through this jungle! Our main concern is finding Honey!" Tamaki said.

"Wow, this place is just like a real jungle, huh?" Tamaki said as we walked.

"Yeah, and I keep hearing all these weird animal calls." Haruhi said.

"You don't think all those animal sounds..." Hikaru started.

"... could belong to the real thing, do you?" Kaoru finished.

"I honestly don't know. But I do know that my family strives for authenticity, at whatever the cost." Kyoya said.

"Wow... Your family must be really thorough..." I mumbled.

"They often are." Kyoya said.

I looked over at Mori.

Hm... he's always so straight-faced... I can never tell what he's thinking... But even though, I can still tell he's worried about Honey.

Mori suddenly slipped and fell.

We gasped and looked behind us.

There was a banana peel on his face.

"Mori-senpai is..."

"... acting just as clumsy as you, boss!"

"Shut up!" Tamaki snapped at the twins.

Mori got up and brushed himself off.

Suddenly, it grew dark.

Haruhi looked up. We all did.

"Uh oh... It's about time for the squall." Kyoya said as he looked at his watch.

"Huh?" Hikaru and Kaoru asked.

It started out small; a couple of drops, and within five seconds it was pouring.

"And... it's raining... Oh how great...!" I said.

After that, we all immediately ran to find shelter.

Soon, we found some; a small gazebo.

We all quickly went under it.

"Hey, Mori? You and Honey seem really close... Are the two of you, like, childhood friends?" Haruhi suddenly said.

"You mean you don't know..." Hikaru started.

"... that they're cousins?" Kaoru finished.

Wait... Honey and Mori are COUSINS???

"You're kidding me... They're related???" Haruhi said.

"The Morinozukas have been serving the Haninozuka family for generations." Kyoya said.

"However, two generations ago, the two families were bonded by marriage, and the master-servant relationship soon became a thing of the past." Tamaki added.

"But even so, Mori-senpai has always made it his personal duty to always accompany Honey-senpai." Kaoru said.

"It must really get his blood going..." Hikaru said.

"A servant's loyalty seems to course through the blood of his veins." Tamaki said.

"It's such a beautiful story! I'm touched!" Hikaru and Kaoru sobbed.

I rolled my eyes at them.

"I don't know if I'd call it a beautiful story..." Haruhi said. Then she looked over at Mori, who was just staring out into the distance.

I watched as Haruhi approached Mori.

Then, she put her hand on his arm. It got Mori's attention, and he turned around.

"Hey, Mori-senpai, it's gonna be alright. I'm sure Honey is safe. He's a lot tougher than you think he is. And if he gets hungry, the trees are full of bananas." Haruhi said.

We all stared at her.

"Bananas?" Hikaru and Kaoru repeated.

"What's he gonna say...?" Tamaki said.

We watched as Mori put one hand on Haruhi's head and smiled. "You're right." he said.

"Don't tell me Mori is out for my spot as Haruhi's daddy?!" Tamaki gasped.

I gave him a look.

"Nobody wants that spot but you, boss." Hikaru pointed out.

"It's kinda creepy when you think about it." Kaoru said.

"WHAT?!" Tamaki said.

Suddenly, I heard a phone ring, it was Kyoya's. He took it out of his pocket and answered it.

I didn't really hear what he was saying though, because I was too busy watching Tamaki and the twins fight.

"Who are you calling creepy?!" Tamaki shouted.

"Ha! You're a big ol' perv~!" Hikaru and Kaoru sang.

"Shut up! I'm not a perv!!!" Tamaki shouted.

After awhile, I noticed it stopped raining.

Apparently, Mori did too, because the second it did, he immediately left the gazebo and headed out into the jungle.

Haruhi followed him. "Mori-senpai, wait! You're going in the wrong way! Honey was heading in the opposite direction...!"

"You're wrong," I heard Mori say. "He went this way."

"Hey, wait up! It's too dangerous to go alone!" Haruhi said. "I'm coming with you!"

I ran up to her. "Haruhi! What do you think you're doing??? It's too dangerous!" I said.

"That's why I can't let Mori go alone! I'll meet back up with you guys later! Tell the guys I'm fine!" Haruhi said before she ran off.

"Haruhi!" I shouted. But it was no use, she was gone.

I turned to run back to the guys.

When I got back, Hikaru and Kaoru were jumping up and down chanting, "Tono's a perv for Haruhi~!", Tamaki was covering his ears and screaming at them, and Kyoya had gotten off the phone and said to us, "Don't worry, everyone, my family called in a search and rescue team to help us. They're more equipped to find Honey than we are, so let's just go back to the gate and wait there." But no one was listening to him.

Then, Kyoya noticed that Mori and Haruhi were no longer here.

"Hey, where's Mori and Haruhi?" he asked.

Hikaru and Kaoru stopped singing, and Tamaki un-covered his ears.

"That's what I've trying to tell you if you'd all just quit fooling around and listen!" I shouted. Then I turned to Kyoya. "They're not here. Mori left to find Honey and Haruhi went after him."

"Ya' know, I don't think I don't mentioned to my family's police force that there are other visitors here... Huh, oh well." Kyoya said as we kept walking in our search to find not only Honey but now Mori and Haruhi too.

I gave him a look.

We kept walking for about another five minutes or so when I suddenly saw one of the people we were looking for...

"Hey, guys! It's--"

"Haruhi!" Tamaki shouted, interrupting my sentence. Then, he ran off towards her. "Haruhi!!!"

We followed him.

Soon, we approached not only Haruhi, but Mori and Honey as well.

Our eyes widened.

"You guys found Honey!" I exclaimed.

"Actually, he kinda found us..." Haruhi said, she had a surprised look on her face.

Honey noticed we were here and smiled. "Hey, guys, you're here!" he said.

I smiled before I suddenly looked down at the ground and noticed there were several men laying unconscious.

"Uh..." is all I said.

"HARUHI!!!" Tamaki shouted before he snatched Haruhi into a hug. "I was so worried!"

"I'm not sure what happened here, but at least they're still alive..." Hikaru said as he and Kaoru poked at the unconscious men on the ground.

"It's pretty amazing that this is Honey-senpai's work... He must have really been holding back..." Kaoru said.

Wait, HONEY DID ALL THIS?!

"What?!" I said.

This got Haruhi's attention as well. "Huh? What do you mean, 'he was holding back'?" she said.

"So, then..." Hikaru started.

"... you both don't know about Honey?" Kaoru finished.

"The Haninozukas are famous for their martial arts." Hikaru said.

"Not only have they trained with the police, but they work over seas with several militaries." Kaoru added.

"Honey-senpai in particular has been called the 'dreadnought' of the Haninozuka family. By the time he was in middle school, he had become the national champion of both karate and judo." Kyoya said.

"Mori-senpai is no slouch either; he won the national championship in kendo when he was only just in middle school." Tamaki said.

Wow...

"So, how were you able to find us, Honey-senpai?" Kaoru asked Honey.

"It's wasn't hard. It didn't take me long to reach the end of the current pool, so I decided to look for you guys." Honey explained.

"We humbly apologize!"

We all turned to see the men were no longer unconscious, but they were on their hands and knees. "We are in your debt!" one of them said.

"Why? Is something wrong?" Honey asked.

"Yes, sir! We're so sorry, sir! We were unaware that we were searching for Mitsukuni Haninozuka! We've committed a terrible offense, here! I apologize for this confrontation! But my dojo will be so excited to hear that I've come face to face with the great Haninozuka! I cherish this moment!" another one said.

Huh... so he is that smart...! Honey sure is deeper than I thought...

"Takashi," Honey said, pulling Mori down and patting his head. "You did a great job of protecting Haru-chan! I bet you were pretty lonely without me around, huh?"

"I don't know if I'd say that." Mori said.

Honey chuckled happily.

"Ya' know, maybe we should go to the beach next." Hikaru said as we exited the park.

"Yeah! The beach would be nice!" Kaoru agreed.

"You idiots, my little girls aren't interested in anything like that." Tamaki said.

Hm...

I shrugged. "Actually, the beach sounds kinda nice." I said.

Haruhi nodded. "Yeah. I might like to go to the beach." she said.

Tamaki, Hikaru, and Kaoru turned back to look at us.

"I may not be interested in this silly water park, but I like the ocean." Haruhi said.

"Yeah, it sounds nice and peaceful. I'd like to visit the beach some time." I said.

"And it's so pretty." Haruhi added.

Tamaki immediately put on a smile. "You know what? Yeah! Then that's where we'll go next time!" he said.

"We're all gonna go to the beach, Tama-chan?" Honey asked. Then, he looked down at Mori, who was carrying him on his shoulders. "Hm, that'll be fun, don't you think?"

Mori smiled a bit. "Yeah." he said.

Haruhi and I smiled.

Well, we're going to the beach.

Ya' know what? It's actually nice to have friends for once.

I never thought I'd ever end up with friends...

Well, life tends to surprise. Doesn't it?

And little did I know, life wasn't anywhere near done with surprising me yet.
