Chapter Twenty-Six: *Bringing Back Yesterday*

Sasori's POV

The moment we left the inn, Sakura practically skipped her way during our travel. I amusedly watched her as he bubblegum pink locks carelessly flew in different directions. But what amused me more, was when she suddenly stopped and turned to me with an embarrassed look on her flawless face.

"Um.. Where are we going again?"

She asked like a child.

I smiled and ruffled her hair."To heaven, my dear." I answered and walked in front of her, leading the way. She quickly coped up with my large steps. I observed her from the corner of my eyes and saw her pouted. "I'd love to see you try, Saso-kun." Haha. She was always the... Wait.

"What did you just call me?"

We both stopped and looked at each other with confusion written on our faces.

"Um.. Saso-kun? Why??"

Saso-kun..

It has been a long time when she last called me that. And I have to admit, I missed it.

Sakura's POV

O...kay?

What did I do wrong??

Sasori looks like he just recalled something and stood there in front of me like a statue. Hm.. I wonder what he's thinking of? And so, I helplessly waved my hands right in front of his face, snapping my fingers every then and there.

"Hey!"

I called to the redhead. And only then did he smirked and looked at me with so much longing in his half-lided coffee brown eyes. It was like he was hypnotizing me or something!

"Let's go, love."

I blushed at the endearment. But what made me go redder, was when he suddenly took hold of my hand as we walked together to who knows where. I sighed. What the heck is wrong with me anyway? Sometimes, I even forget that he's my kidnapper.

-

After an hour or so, I found myself standing here in a some kind of cave entrance, waiting for him.

He said that he just needs to pick up some few stuffs that we might need. And as the curios one I naturally am, I decided to follow him instead. Well, its not like a large and creepy cave like this has that many ways in and out, right? Its impossible that I might get lost in this basic place! I am a ninja!

--err.. Well, atleast that's what Naruto and the others told me when I woke up from unconsciousness.

"Sasori?!"

I yelled throughout the cave, but my voice only echoed.

I did that 'yelling for his name' practice for about several times. But the only response I get was that from my echoed back voice.

Damn.

I then decided to head out the cave and see if he's already out waiting for me, when suddenly I realized something.

I forgot to leave marks from where I gone through!

Oh no!!!

If I'm not mistaken, I went through.. Hm.. Three openings? Waaaahh! I'm lost and I don't know how to get out!

TT___TT

-

"Sakura?"

When I got out, I was shocked to find no kunoichi waiting for me near the cave's main entrance. I scanned my surroundings and failed to feel her chakra signature in the open.

I frowned.

How foolish of me to forgot that she does the complete opposite of the things I tell her to do. So when I told her earlier to stay, of course she'll go looking for me inside! Tsk. Women.

I took in a deep breathe and placed the scrolls I carried on the grassy ground.

I did some handsigns and in only a poof of smoke, out came a dozen puppet mice-like structures that were waiting for my next action. I immediately attached my chakra strings on them and stood near the main entrance.

Soon enough, I let my puppets do the works and bring her back to me.

Tsk. Does she always have to disobey my orders?

She should receive a punishment indeed. Haha.

-

I am now sitting down, my back leaning on the cave's wall.

I clearly have no idea how to get out of here. And not to mention that this cave is big. Yeah, that doesn't really help much either.

After a few more seconds, I thought I heard rattling sounds.

I stood up and looked around.

A snake??

*tisgh!*

I turned to my right, with my chakra filled fist ready for offense, but what I saw was not what I was expecting. A puppet mouse?? Wait, Sasori's a puppet master! He sent this! Waah! I knew he'll save me!

And so, I followed the little puppet that lead me out of the cave.

Phew!

--

The moment I got out, I saw Sasori leaning on a tree with his arms crossed in front of his chest. Tsk! He was smirking! I walked towards him with a pout. He laughed.

Grrr! He's the reason why I got into that mess in the first place!

"I hate you!" I said and stormed off into the woods. Ugh! He is impossible! How can he be so amused to see me suffer! He's a sadist cha!

Soon enough, I found him running next to me and held my hand. I looked at his face. He was smiling at me.

"I love you too."

This guy. Is really annoyingly amazing. -___-'
