Sakura's POV

The moment I fluttered my jade green eyes open, the first thing I felt was comfort. A warmth that made my stomach flip. I let out a small yawn and closed my eyes again.

Everything just feels so right..

I felt the person beside me move a bit. I opened my eyes again, and only then did I realized that the warmth I'm feeling was from Sasori. He was sleeping beside me with his arms protectively wrapped around me. I furrowed my eyebrows. And since when did I feel asleep on a bed?

I silently studied his face.

Perfectly tanned colored skin. Angelic eyes. Red and messy hair. And his carefully crafted nose. He's just perfect. I soon felt a small blush creeping its way to my cheeks. What the heck am I thinking about?

I shrugged it off and continued to watch him sleep.

"Are you done watching me sleep? I hope you enjoyed the view."

I was taken off guard when he spoke. Kyaa!! That was embarrassing! I quickly shifted my gaze to the other direction and huffed. "I wasn't watching you! I-I was just studying your facial features! That's all!" I said and sat up. I heard him chuckled and he ruffled my hair.

"Stop being so cute, Saku-chan. Haha."

The nerve!

Soon enough, he stopped laughing his heart out and stood up. "Where the heck are you going?" I asked him. He looked at me with amusement and beamed me his oh so charming smile.

"I think I saw their kitchen last night. I'm just gonna cook us something to eat. Stay here and behave." And with that, he walked out of the room.

Hmph! Like I have a choice!? Clearly there is no use in attempting to escape him anymore. I always fail anyway. It all ends up the same way.
And so with nothing else to do, I lazily got up and looked through the window. The sun is already near overhead and I can here the melodic laughs of children playing outside. I smiled.

I then had an idea and opened the window. What he doesn't know, won't hurt him right?

I quickly jumped out and landed gracefully on the ground, bare footed. I inhaled the fresh air and ran towards the somewhat mini playground. The kids suddenly stopped playing and looked at me with curious eyes.

"Hi there." I greeted them with a small smile.

They looked suspicious for a moment but soon enough, a brunetted spoke. "Sorry Miss. But Mommy said we shouldn't talk to strangers." He stated with his small, squeeky voice. I looked at him lovingly. I just love kids.

"Haha. Sorry about that! My name is Sakura, by the way. Can I play with you guys?"

They looked at each other for a while before turning back at me. "But you're a.."

"A stranger? But you now know my name. Then that doesn't make me one anymore." I smiled and sat on the ground to meet their level. After a few seconds of processing what I just said, they all beamed at me.

"Sure, nee-chan!!"

Sasori's POV

"Sakura, I'm back. Look, they only ha-- Shit! Sakura?!"

When I opened the door of our room, I found no cherry blossom waiting for me on the bed. I rapidly left the tray of onigiri on the bedside table and went to the bathroom to check if she's there.

No one.

"F*ck! Sakura?!"

I was panicking like crazy. Didn't I told her to wait for me?! Where is she?!

It was only then did I heard laughter from the outside. I turned to the window and a pink blur caught my attention. I immediately went there and saw my girl playing with the children outside. I sighed and smiled at the sight.

They were chasing her around the mini playground.

She looks so happy. She's so beautiful in every aspect.

Making me proud to tell the world, once and for all that she is mine. Soon, I found myself jump off the window and ran towards her.

"Ah!"

Sakura's POV

"Ah!"

I was running around playing tag with the kids when I then felt someone wrap me from behind. I was brought to the ground. I slightly tilted my head to see who hugged me.

I blushed when I saw Sasori smirking like a maniac.

"Caught you, baby."

My heart went wild!

The kids stopped running too. They watched me-- er.. Us with curiosity. Soon, they all started to tease us like there's no tomorrow.

"Ayieehh! Sakura-nee, is he your husband?"

One of them asked. Me and this redhead are now sitting on the grass. I was about to say no when Sasori beat me to it.

"Yes, I am."

And then, all seven of the toddlers started to blush, laugh, tease etc. I was as red as a tomato now!

"S-Sasori---"

I was caught off when a pair of warm and moist lips were placed onto mine. Oh Kami..

It was a quick kiss. He then pulled away and stared at me. I was speechless! He smiled playfully and said the words I never thought he'd say,

"I'd love to have kids like them someday.."
