Her unspoken words
are a melody to his ears
she breathes them
in her heart
and yet he listens to them
in times when the breeze
played with his hair
the sun kissed his skin
in a gentle touch of warmth
in the tickles of the sand grains
on the beaches
in the whispers of the waves against his feet
and in the silence of the world
at two in the night 
when the world was asleep
dreaming about things
they'd forget the next day
except for them two
because they were wide awake
