-3rd POV-

It was morning as team SDAZ was walking along side tea RWBY checking out the Vytal Festival while both sisters Sapphire and Ruby were unsettled by the constant smile on Weiss' face.

"The Vytal Festival! Oh this is absolutely wonderful!" Weiss says in excitement.

"I don't think I've ever seen you smile this much Weiss." Ruby started. "It's kinda weirding  me out."

"Yeah, I agree with cookie lover here." Sapphire says pointing her thumb at Ruby while Zuwon looks at Sapphire.

"But aren't you a cookie lover as well?" He asked making Sapphire glare at him.

"You can't prove that..." She says as Zuwon held up his hands in surrender as Weiss faced them.

"How could you not smile? A festival dedicated to the cultures of the world! There will be dances, parades, a tournament! Oh the amount of planning and organization that goes into this event is simply breath taking." She says as Yang sighed.

"You really know how to take a good thing and make it sound boring." She states making Amethyst giggle while Sapphire sighs before Weiss replies with.

"Quiet you."

"Not to be a dick." Dominic started. 

"But you are." Sapphire states out loud not caring if he heard as he glares at her.

"But can you explain why you drag us out in the afternoon of Friday just to visit some dock!?"

Ruby then covered her nose. "Ugh, they smell like fish." She says causing Sapphire, Dominic, and Zuwon to look at her like she was stupid.

"...I can't wait till you mature a bit sis...maybe it'll help you stop making stupid comments like that..." Sapphire tells her.

"Anyway..." Weiss started as she looks at Dominic. "I've heard students from Vacuo will be arriving by ship today. And as a representative of Beacon I feel as though it is my solemn duty to welcome them into this fine kingdom." Weiss explains as Blake and team SDAZ understood what she was planning.

"I like the way you think Schnee." Dominic states while Ruby looked confused causing Blake to explain.

"She wants to spy on them so she'll have the upper hand in the tournament." 

Weiss turns around showing offence. "Ah! You can't prove that!" She exclaims as Ruby spots something.

"Whoa." She says gaining everyone's attention thus seeing what looked like a robbery had been done and being curious they walked up.

"What happened here?" Amethyst asked as she was analyzing the store a bit.

The first detective looks up."Robbery. Second Dust shop to be hit this week. This place is turning into a jungle."

Dominic scoffs while Yang states. "That's terrible."

"They left all the money again." The other detective says gaining Dominic, Ruby, and Sapphire's full attention.

"Huh?" The three say.

"Yeah, just doesn't make a lick o' sense. Who needs that much dust?" DET-1 asks towards DET-2.

"I dunno. An Army?"

"You thinking the uh, White Fang?"

"Ya I'm thinking we don't get paid enough."

Weiss then scoffs. "Hmph. The White Fang. What an awful bunch of degenerates." Blake and Zuwon then looks at her.

"What's your problem?" Zuwon questions.

"My problem? I simply don't care for the criminally insane." 

"The White Fang is hardly a bunch of psychopaths. They're a collection of misguided Faunus." Blake states.

"Misguided?!" Weiss questions. "They want to wipe humanity off the face of the planet!" She exclaims.

Sapphire shrugs. "I don't see a problem with that..." She says causing everyone to look at her. "..What?"

Blake stared at her for a bit before retaliating to Weiss's comment. "So then they're very misguided. Either way, it doesn't explain why they would rob a Dust shop in the middle of downtown Vale."

"Hm... Blake's got a point." Ruby started. "Besides, the police never caught that Torchwick guy me and Sapphire ran into a few months ago. Maybe it was him?"

"Still doesn't change the fact that the White Fang are a bunch of scum. Those Faunus only know how to lie, cheat, and steal!" She say causing Blake and team SDAZ to glare at her.

"That's not necessarily true." Yang tried to defend.

"Yeah stop making it seem like all we do is cause trouble!" Zuwon argued but as if fate wasn't on his side...

"Hey! Stop that Faunus!" A voice shouted from the docks and when they make it there they see a male monkey Faunus with blond hair and tail jumping off the ship.

"Thanks for the ride, guys!" He say before running down the docks then jumping on a lamppost and hanging from his tail while one of the crew mates shout.

"You no-good stowaway!"

"Hey! A no-good stowaway would've been caught!" The monkey Faunus states while peeling a banana. "I'm a great stowaway." He finishes as he soon dodged a rock aimed at his head.

"I mean...he's not wrong..." Zuwon states causing his team to look at him. "...What?"

The two detectives from earlier walks up as DET-1 speaks first. "Hey! Get down from there this instant!" He shouts like he's scolding a child only to receive a banana peel to the face thus pissing him off while the Faunus laughs a bit evilly gaining a plus from Sapphire before he jumps off the lamp post then runs down the docks, up the stairs leading to the streets, then finally past the group as he winks at Blake with the two detectives after him before Yang speaks up.

"Well Weiss, you wanted to see the competition. And there it goes." This caused Weiss to take action.

"Quick! We have to observe him!" She states before chasing the three causing her team and SDAZ to follow but during the chase, they turned the corner and this lead to Weiss who was in front to turn the corner only to bump into and knock over something before looking up see the monkey Faunus get away. "No! He got away!"

"...Hey ugh, Ice Queen?" Sapphire calls out making Weiss look at her. "I would look down..."

This caused her to look down only to see a redhead female staring at her thus making her jump back in shock and a bit of fright.

"Sal-u-tations!" The girl spoke.

"Um, hello." Ruby spoke.

"Greetings." Sapphire greets while Amethyst waves.

"Are you okay?" Yang asks.

"I'm wonderful! Thank you for asking." The girl thanks still laying on the ground causing everyone to look at each other before looking back at her.

"Do you want to get up?" Zuwon asked thus the girl appeared to be thinking for a moment.

"Yes!" She responded before jumping to her feet making team RWBY back up in surprise while team SDAZ looked impressed. "My name is Penny! It's a pleasure to meet you!"

"Hi Penny! I'm Ruby."

"I'm Weiss."

"Blake."

"Are you sure you didn't hit your head?" Yang says causing both Blake and Sapphire to elbow her sides. "Oh, I'm Yang."

"I'm Sapphire."

"Dominic..."

"Amethyst!"

"And I'm Zuwon."

"It's a pleasure to meet you!"

"You already said that." Weiss states.

"...So I did!"

"Well sorry for running into you!" Weiss apologized as she and the group turned around.

"Take care, friend!" Ruby says as they walked off.

After walking quite a distance. "She was...weird." Yang states making Sapphire shrugged.

"Interesting is more like it." 

"I agree." Dominic nods.

"Now, where did that Faunus riffraff run off to?" Weiss comments causing a tick mark to appear on Zuwon's forehead before they all looked forward seeing Penny in front of them.

"What did you call me?"

"Oh, I'm really sorry! I definitely didn't think you heard me." Yang tried to apologize while Weiss and Amethyst appeared confused on how she got in front them so fast without them knowing.

"No, not you." Penny says to Yang as she walks past up to Ruby making Sapphire go on guard. "You!"

"Me? Uh, I don't know I-What I um, ah-"

"You called me friend. Am I really your friend?"

"Umm...." Ruby looks past her toward the seeing her team waving and giving signs of 'No' while team SDAZ just shrugs. "Yeah, sure. Why not?" She says causing her team to fall to the floor while SDAZ chuckles/giggles.

Meanwhile Penny was excited. "Sensational! We can paint our nails, and try on clothes and talk about cute boys!"

Ruby then leans towards Weiss who had gotten up. "Is this what it was like when you met me?" She asked her.

"No. She seems far more coordinated."

"So, what are you doing in Vale?" Amethyst asked.

"I'm here to fight in the tournament!"

"Wait, you're fighting in the tournament?" Sapphire asked.

"I'm combat ready!" Was the reply she gave.

"Forgive me, but you hardly look the part."

"Says the girl wearing a dress..." Both Blake an Zuwon states.

"It's a combat skirt!" She says causing both Ruby and Sapphire to be by her side.

"Yeah!" The twins say as they gave Weiss and high-five

"Wait a minute...If you're here for the tournament, does that mean you know that monkey-tailed rapscallion?" 

"The who?" Penny asked confused causing Weiss to show a poor drawing of the Faunus.

"The filthy Faunus from the boat!" This made both Blake and Zuwon feed up.

"Why do you keep saying that!?" Blake asked ab bit ticked.

"Huh?" Weiss says looking at her teammate.

"Stop calling him a rapscallion!" She says.

"Stop calling him a degenerate!" Zuwon adds. "He's a person!"

"Oh, I'm sorry. Would you like me to stop referring to the trashcan as a trashcan? Or this lamppost as a lamppost?!"

"Stop it Weiss..." Sapphire warned as she was starting to get feed up too.

"Stop what!?" She shout at blue riding hood. "He clearly broke the law. Give him time, he'll probably join up with those other Faunus in the White Fang."

"Ugh! You ignorant little brat!" Blake shout before walking off causing Weiss to follow.

"How dare you talk to me like that! I'm your teammate!"

"You are a judgmental little girl." Zuwon states as he walks up to the two.

"What in the world makes you say that!?"

Yang then looks tat the group. "Uh...I think we should probably go..."

Dominic sighed. "That would be for the best."

"Where are we going?" Penny asked only to not be answered while Weiss, Blake and Zuwon continues to argue.

"The mere fact that you would sort that Faunus boy with a terrorist group solely based on his species makes you just as much as a scoundrel as you believe him to be!" Blake stated.

"So you admit it! The White Fang is just a radical group of terrorists!"

"That's not what she meant and you know it!" Zuwon growls.

-Time Skip, Team RWBY Dorm Room, Night-

"I don't understand why this is causing such a problem."

"That is the problem!" Blake and Zuwon shouts.

"You two do realize that you're defending an organization that hates humanity. Don't you? The White Fang is pure evil!"

"There's no such thing as pure evil!" Blake shout. "Why do you think they hate humanity so?" She questions.

"It's because people like Cardin..." Zuwon growls in anger as his appearance became a bit more feral. "People like YOU! That forces the White Fang to take such drastic measures!" 

"People like me!?"

"You're discriminatory!" He shouts.

"I'm a victim." Weiss shouts back silencing him. "You want to know why I despise the White Fang? Why I don't particularly trust the Faunus?" She says as she walks up to the open window. "It's because they've been at war with my family for years...War- as in actual bloodshed. My grandfather's company has had a target painted across it's back for as long as I can remember. And ever since I was a child, I've watched family friends disappear, board members executed, an entire train car full of Dust, stolen. And everyday my father would come home furious. And that made for a very difficult...childhood."

Sapphire who was in the back corner of the room looks to the side. "...Tell me about it..." She says softly as the people in the room hears her while Ruby walks up to Weiss.

"Weiss, I-"

"No! You want to know why I despise the White Fang?! It's because they're a bunch of lairs, thieves, and murderers!"

"Well maybe we were just tired of being pushed around!" Blake and Zuwon shouts at her striking everyone in silence before realizing what they said thus looking around seeing everyone looking at them in shock.

"I-" Was all they said before they both fled the room.

"Blake! Zuwon! Come back!" Ruby called after them.

Sapphire glared at Weiss before she left the room.

-Meanwhile-

Blake and Zuwon was running and came to a stop in front of some statures before Blake takes off her bow revealing her cat ears while Zuwon puts a hand on her shoulder giving her his support before a voice speaks up.

"I knew you'd look better without the bow." The two turned to see the monkey Faunus from before.

-Back With Sapphire, Rooftop-

She was thinking about what all went down and what lead to this. "So...they're White Fang spies..?" She sighed softly. "Should they come back, they'll have to answer to me...for betraying my trust."
