After the battle, everything seemed to be going back to normal. Families were reunited and safe. The young children were taken to a new home back at the Vampire Kingdom where they were accepted. Everything seemed peaceful except for the Queen Vampire who was worried for her wife and daughter. Both Mitsuko and Sachie were taken away to be checked by Liana. The two were extremely wounded and unconscious from the fight so no one knew when they would wake up
"Matsuri...have you eaten?" Nitski asked. Matsuri remained silent as she sat on the bed. Nitski's expression soften and felt a pat on her shoulder. Juhin looked at her and moved his head to the side telling her to leave
"...she needs time" Juhin whispered. Nitski only clenched her fists and sighed deeply
"...remember this isn't your fault" Nitski whispered before she left with Juhin. Matsuri only watched them leave and looked down
Damnit...damnit...damnit! Damnit! Damnit!
"Tch...it fucking hurts" Matsuri growled and trembled a little. She stopped as she heard a knock on the door and saw Asuka who had red puffy eyes
"A-asuka?" Matsuri asked worriedly and Asuka ran towards her mom before hugging her tightly. She trembled and burried her face against her stomach
"Th-they'll be...okay...r-right?" Asuka asked as she trembled and teared up. Matsuri's expression soften and carried her
"Yes...they'll be okay. They just need to rest for a while..." Matsuri spoke softly. Asuka only whimpered softly and trembled a bit
"It'll be okay...I promise" Matsuri said as she rubbed her back softly. Asuka burried her face against her neck and trembled. Matsuri turned to the bed and laid down with Asuka still in her arms since she was behaving quite clingy
Heh...this is the first time she's ever come to me for comfort..
Minutes passed by and Asuka fell asleep in her mother's arms since she had no sleep. Matsuri held Asuka and looked up hearing a knock on her door
"Matsuri?" Jinah asked as she stepped inside the room
"Ah...hi mom" Matsuri said
"How's Asuka?" Jinah whispered
"She's doing fine now. She's just really tired...and worried" Matsuri whispered and stroked her hair softly
"How...are they doing?" Matsuri whispered
"We need to remove the magic within Mitsuko. Her father didn't warn her about the side effects of a mortal using that kind of power. He must've stolen it from our side of the family..." Jinah whispered
"They'll wake up...right?" Matsuri asked
"Of course they will, Matsuri. It'll just take time for their bodies to recover...maybe they'll wake up in a week" Jinah said
"Mm...I understand" Matsuri whispered
"Have you eaten yet? You were barely able to stand up on your own" Jinah whispered
"I'm fine...please don't worry" Matsuri said
"Well...as long as you don't start training again. Right now...she needs you the most right now" Jinah said. Matsuri looked down at Asuka and couldn't help but see herself in Asuka. She sighed deeply and smiled a little
"Yeah...you're right. I'll just rest for a bit with Asuka..." Matsuri whispered
"Okay. I'll deal with the rest of the problems. You stay here and sleep please..." Jinah whispered
"Yeah...I understand" Matsuri said
"And don't you fucking think about training because if I see you step into that arena...I will kick your ass" Jinah said sternly while glaring at her
"Y-yes mother..." Matsuri said. Jinah nodded and headed out to the door
"Sleep well..." Jinah said
"Mm...thanks" Matsuri said and Jinah closed the door quietly. Matsuri felt Asuka whimper as she moved slightly. She touched her cheek softly and kissed her forehead softly
"Night..." Matsuri whispered and slowly drifted off to sleep alongside her daughter. She saw a bit of sunlight coming from the curtains since it was finally a new day for everyone. The two injured family members remained in the recovery room where Liana placed the herbs on the desks that released a strong scent

Liana stepped out of the room and closed it quietly
"How are they?" Maruta asked
"They're severely wounded and their bodies are slowly regenerating. Mitsuko's armour saved her from damaging her spine after that attack. As for Sachie...her power ended up taking over and consuming her body. The impacts from her attacks were too difficult for her to handle which weakened her body and started losing the energy to move" Liana said
"But they will wake up soon right?" Maruta asked
"Yes. They will so we need to keep checking up on them. I've gave them a couple of herbs that help their body relax and heal their wounds" Liana said
"That's a relief" Maruta said
"And that Mizusawa better not think of moving around so quickly. That body of hers won't be able to recover that quick if she decides to train in that state" Liana said
"No need to worry about her. I've already told Matsuri not to step out nor get near the arena" Jinah said as she showed up
"How is Asuka?" Liana asked
"Asuka...is really exhausted and tired right now. I'm not even sure if she'll want to move..." Jinah said
"Do you need me to give her tea? It'll soothe the pain she is feeling inside and calm her emotions down" Liana said
"No thanks, Liana. You've already done enough for us. I really need you to rest" Jinah said as she smiled warmly
"It's a pleasure to help" Liana said as she bowed down before leaving to head back to her place
"How have you been?" Jinah asked
"Ah me? Well...I guess I'm doing okay. I've spoken with my sister and...hopefully we can fix our bond" Maruta said
"I'm sure she'll be able to change" Jinah said
"I hope so..." Maruta said
"How are your few people doing?" Jinah asked
"Oh them? They went out and decided to go hunting for a while..." Maruta said
"Do you plan on returning?" Jinah asked
"Back at the Kingdom? Mm...I don't think so. I mean...I guess I could but I rather have my sister deal with the Kingdom. I want to stay back and help from a distance. I'm not fit for a Queen. My girls need me and I don't plan on running a Kingdom...I'll just have less time to spend time with them" Maruta said
"I agree. It does take away a bunch of time" Jinah said
"Well your highness...I guess I'll be leaving now. The girls are probably really worried by now..." Maruta said
"Goodbye. Take care" Jinah said and Maruta nodded before walking away. Jinah looked at the room and held her hand out before touching the room releasing a bit of magic
"Don't worry...I told you I won't let them get killed" Jinah whispered softly before she turned around and walked away leaving the place. She wore a cloak to protect herself from the sun. Jinah seemed surprised as she saw her mother nearby
What is she doing here now?
"Hey...mother. I thought you were back at the Kingdom..." Jinah said
"Mm...I just came by to see how everyone is doing" Her mother said
"Well...Matsuri is asleep with Asuka in the room. Mitsuko and Sachie are still unconscious. We're not sure when they'll wake up..." Jinah said
"I see. Has Matsuri developed any new powers yet?" Her mother asked
"I won't let Matsuri train. She is staying down and resting until Mitsuko and Sachie wake up" Jinah said
"I wasn't planning to train Matsuri. I understand that her body still needs to heal itself up after all those attacks..." Her mother said
"What did you do to her?" Jinah asked
"I burried her...back at home where we used to live" Her mother said as her expression soften. She sighed deeply and turned to face Jinah
"Jinah...I understand how harsh I was on you...and on him. I know it'll be hard for you to forgive me...but...I'll do my best to change. Not just for you...but for Matsuri and her family. I wasn't sure how Matsuri was going to handle the situation between vampire and human. Now I realize how much she's grown up. She's matured..." Her mother said
"She enjoyed to explore the human world and wondered why we should stay away from humans. Maybe that Queen power...wasn't for evil but for good. I just hope the peace between vampire and human will continue..." Jinah said
"I wouldn't worry about the peace. Sachie has the heart of her mother and her passion. I bet she will become a great Queen one day..." Her mother said
"I have to head out. I need to check up on the corrupted children..." Jinah said
"Alright. I'll go back since your father is dealing with the other Vampire Kingdoms..." Her mother said
"And how is that going?" Jinah asked
"Their quite shocked at the news but...I'm pretty sure they'll agree with our conditions" Her mother said
"Okay...well then. I guess I'll see you some other time..." Jinah said as she opened her wings
"Jinah..." Her mother said and Jinah turned to look at her
"...I'm proud of you" Her mother said softly. Jinah nodded before whispering
"Thanks..." Jinah whispered before flying away

"Ah! Nitski...how are they doing?" Yuzu asked
"Have they woken up yet?" Shai asked
"No. Not yet" Nitski said
"What about Matsuri?" Shai asked
"She's...somewhat doing great. She is still... struggling a bit. She just needs time..." Juhin said
"And Asuka isn't doing that great either right?" Yuzu asked
"She's just a girl. Having all this happen is hard for her. She may act tough and strong but...she is still a girl" Nitski said
"Mom...when will Asuka see us?" Ema asked
"She got mad at us..." Kiyoko said
"Girls...please understand that Asuka is really upset. She needs some time to be alone..." Harumin said as she patted Kiyoko's head softly
"But can we see them or at least pay them a visit?" Yua asked
"Maybe when they feel better...right now is not a good time" Yuzu said
"Maybe we should head back and get a bit of rest. We all stayed up all night..." Shai said
"And we need you to rest so your wounds can heal faster" Himeko said as she touched her bandaged hand gently
"Y-yeah" Shai said
"But will I be able to see Sachie when she wakes up?" Fuyuhime asked as she looked up at Shai
"Of course sweetie but you have to be patient" Shai said as she held her closely
"Where is grandma?" Yua asked as she looked at her mom
"She is quite busy at the moment. She will be back soon after finishing her things" Yuzu said and carried her
"Let's start heading back. Your mother needs to rest after all that hard work" Mei said and Miyagi held her hand
"Yeah all of you need to rest. Juhin and I still have other things to do" Nitski said and felt a tug as Ema held her hand
"But aren't you tired?" Ema asked
"Can't you just work on that later?" Miyu asked
"Well we could but...since Matsuri is not feeling well at the moment. We have to help her" Nitski said
"I can help too" Miyu said
"Yeah maybe we can help you finish your work" Ema said
"That's sweet of you but you girls really need your beauty sleep. You've been up all night and feeling worried which isn't healthy" Nitski said as she patted Ema's head softly
"And your father needs someone to take care of him" Juhin said
"Okay! I'll take good care of papa!" Miyu said
"That's my girl" Juhin said
"Just try not to take too long okay?" Ortho said
"I'll be back around a couple of minutes. You two just head back and sleep please" Juhin said as he gave them a gentle hug
"Yeah I think I'm starting to get a little sleepy..." Hina said and yawned softly as she rubbed her eyes
"Come here" Nene said and carried her daughter in her arms
"Night everyone. We'll be leaving now" Nitski said
"Please be careful and rest well" Juhin said
"Mom!" Kiyoko said and ran towards Maruta who approached the group
"Oh hey Kiyoko" Maruta said as she smiled softly. Koharu walked up to her and hugged her
"You're finally back..." Koharu said
"Aren't you girls suppose to be sleeping?" Maruta asked
"We can't sleep" Kiyoko said
"Hm? Why not?" Maruta asked
"Because you're not with us and we were worried" Koharu said
"This is the first time Koharu can't sleep. Usually she falls asleep pretty easily" Kiyoko said
"And are you feeling well?" Harumin asked as she wrapped an arm around her
"Yes. I'm doing well" Maruta said as she nodded
"We'll see ya later guys. Also I promise to be back as soon as possible okay? Love you both" Nitski said as she said her goodbyes to her wife and daughter
"Help your father out and read him a bedtime story" Juhin said and chuckled softly
"Of course!" Miyu said as she smiled brightly
"Just hurry back" Ortho said and kissed him softly. Juhin smiled and knelt down planting a soft kiss on Miyu's head
"Bye now. Love you my beautiful sweethearts" Juhin said as he smiled brightly
"Let's go dumbass" Nitski said as she grabbed him
"Yep. I'm coming" Juhin said as he walked beside her. The two Mizusawas walked away to finish up a few things
"Where are those other idiots?" Nitski asked
"Hey they're our friends" Juhin said
"Ah! Nitski!" Prisma said
"Ah fuck...speak of the devil" Nitski groaned
"Did you miss me?" Prisma asked
"Never" Nitski said
"Where are the others?" Juhin asked
"Lina and the rest went back to help the corrupted children get along with the other vampires. They're surprisingly doing well. I thought it would end up in chaos" Prisma said
"And Hunton? Did he leave?" Nitski asked as she looked around
"No...I'm still here" Hunton said
"Eh? You're still here?" Juhin asked
"I thought you didn't care about us..." Nitski said
"I'm too tired to fly away. Do you know how tough those little bitches were?" Hunton asked as he rubbed the back of his neck and sighed
"Not true. He stayed because he knows Lina will come back right after she's done dealing with the children" Prisma said
"Give it up, man. Lina is already fucking Brono and I know it hurts to lose a bitch againsr a loser" Juhin said
"Heh...that's what you get for being such a jerk" Nitski said as she laughed
"Shut up Mizusawa" Hunton said
"Aw come on, Hunton. Let's go and fetch something to eat" Prisma said as she grabbed his arm
"Why not become a couple you both?" Nitski asked
"Hahaha! Like hell I'll ever suck his dick!" Prisma laughed
"I won't be fucking this slut" Hunton said
"Anyways come on bud. Let's just get something to eat. Are you guys coming?" Prisma asked as she looked at the Mizusawas
"No thanks" Juhin said as he shook his head
"We have other important things to do" Nitski said
"Meh suit yourself..." Prisma said as she shrugged
"Let's go Juhin" Nitski said as she walked away with him
