She was getting ready and was humming a tune to herself.

She was happy...yes heartily happy....because of HIM. He was returning from his a 2 month long mission. She had to look beautiful , look happy only for him....She smiled as she remembered what he said before leaving for the mission...

*Flashback Starts*

She was in the bedroom packing his stuff. After their marriage , this was the first mission when he was going leaving her alone and it was the very next day of their wedding. He came inside after having a talk with ACP Sir and glanced at her and moved to her....

"Ruhana "

She was looking for something in the almirah. She replied without turning towards him

"Haan Vineet, bolo .waise tum apna samaan check kar lo ek baar....kuch choot toh nhi raha. "

He made her turn towards himself...

"Ruhana, are you okay? "he asked.

She smiled... "tumhare hote hue bhala mujhe kya hoga? "she asked.

"tum is mission ki wajah se pareshan ho? " he asked.

She smiled...

"pehli baar mission pe nahi ja rahe ho, par shadi ke baad pehli baar ja rahe ho. "she said looking at him.

He smiled...

" jaanta hoon. Main jana bhi nahi chahta tumhe chhod ke. Lekin duty bhi toh nahi chhod sakta na. "he said cupping her face.

She smiled and held his hand... "Main chahti bhi nhi ki tum apni duty chhodo. Kyunki I want to be your inspiration. Tum aaram se jao. " she said.

Vineet lifted her chin..."tum aise sadly bhejogi mujhe? Agar tum udaas rahogi toh main kaam nhi kar paunga." he said.

She hugged him tightly. It was enough for him to know that she was scared , she was afraid. He hugged her back....While in hug she said.....

" Vineet, is baar jaldi aana. Mujhe aadat ho gayi hai tumhari." She said.

She parted the hug. He wiped off her tears. She looked at him

" Aur apna khayal rakhna Mujhse kuch chupaane ki koshish mat karna. Aur jab waqt mile toh mujhse contact karte rehna."

She spoke while she was packing some important things in his bag. He was smiling looking at her. She turned to him....

"Aur haan .....kaam ke chakkar mein sehat ko neglect mat karna. sSamjhe ??? "

She looked at him and found him glaring at her.."kya dekh rahe ho? "

Vineet pulled her closer locking his hands around her waist.....

"Tumhe dekh raha hoon. tumhe dekhe bina din thodi pura hota hai !!!

She smiled and locked her hands around his neck... "toh ab 2 mahine kaise rahoge? " she winked at him.

Vineet smiled... "Reh lunga ....afterall tum toh mere mann mein ho ...hai na ??

She smiled and blushed and hid herself in his arms. He caressed her hair , Kissed on her forehead and said....

"but you have to promise me something. " he said.

"Kya? "she asked.

"is mission ka ant kya hoga wo toh main nahi jaanta lekin.. " but was cut by ruhana.

"tum jeet kar hi wapas aaoge. I know that " she said.

He smiled.. "tab tak is chehre ki muskurahat gayab nahi honi chahiye."

She nodded and he left from there.

*Flashback Ends*

She smiled widely.....

"Main usi muskarahat ke saath tumhara swagat karungi Vineet ....jiski wajah bhi tum ho. Isse zyada khushi ki baat kya ho sakti hai ki aap bilkul thik hai aur wapas aa rahe hain.....Main bahut khush hu Vineet ....bahut khush. Aisa lag raha hai jaise mujhe meri zindagi wapas mil gayi hai. Thank you for everything"

She spoke looking at his picture. She looked at herself ....She was wearing the navy blue colored saree which he gifted her. She put bindi on her forehead and picked up the box containing sindoor. She opened it and as she was about to take up a pinch of the sindoor, she saw his reflection in the mirror. Her smile widened and she turned to him with the box in her hand. He moved closer to her with a smile.

"Vineet .......tum aa gaye..... thik toh ho na ?? kahin chot toh nahi lagi ??? " she said patting his cheeks.

She showered him with questions while he lifted up her hand containing the sindoor box and took a pinch of sindoor and filled her maang.

She closed her eyes and hugged him. He hugged her back.....

" Tumhare hote hue tumhare Vineet ko kuch ho sakta hai kya?" he whispered in her ears.

She nodded in No while parting the hug. She looked at hm...

"tumse waada kiya tha na ki apni muskurahat se hi tumhara swagat karungi....toh ye sab tumhare liye. "

Vineet kissed on her forehead... "Tumne apna waada puri tarah nibhaya. I promise you.....I will love you always!!!

She smiled and happy tears leaked her eyes. He pulled her in his embrace and then drove out for dinner to celebrate their love.
