Later the next morning I hear Taylor talking with Evelyn from the Hunters association. I walk downstairs and sit to talk with them. "So Gavan, about your consumption of demon blood, while you may not know this but demons are slightly frowned upon here, they may receive negative comments while here, if your traveling with any I recommend you have them disguise there demonic features to avoid unwanted attention" She said. The girls then walk down the stairs but when Lizzy does Evelyn looks up and goes silent. "Lizzy...?" She said. The two meet eyes for a moment. Then Evelyn starts crying. Lizzy hurries down the stairs and holds Evelyn. "What's wrong? Are you okay?" Lizzy asked. Lizzy then noticed Evelyn's legs and arms... how there prosthetic limbs. "What happened to your limbs?" She asked. Small horns grown from Evelyn's head. Huh... turns out she's been hiding a very well kept secret too it seems. "Humans... they... they tortured me one night... they cut my arms and legs off, I was so scared!" Evelyn cried. "Sniffle... Joseph saved me though, he helped me and gave me a new hair color, hair style and everything, humans don't realize it but I've been tracking down the criminals who are trafficking other races and cutting up there bodies for fun, Gavan's earlier targets where a group of said criminals" She said. "Here's a better question before we get any further... how do you two know each other..." I said. "I waited in Ettenburrow for a while thinking this would be the place you would be born, but when I felt your presence far from this place, I traveled to the small town you lived in, Evelyn was a lost child so I helped her find a home, but after I left... I couldn't have known what would happen to her" Lizzy said. That answers that then at least... but why tell me that she came from Ettenburrow now rather than explain that when we first met? "Lizzy, from now on you need to explain things to me immediately do I make that clear?" I said. "Yes, I'm sorry for not speaking up sooner" She said. I place my hand on her head on stroke it. "It's alright, Evelyn, what can you tell me about these criminals, as long as you keep it on the low, I'll make it my job to weed them out... all of them" I said. Logan walks out from the kitchen with a bottle of champagne. "If you're gonna be killing people who could be considered racist towards demons, count me in, or are you wanting to keep it more discreet?" He asked. "I'm wanting to do this alone... I think I have the tools to do so... besides... I brought my research with me...so..." I said. Ina then walks out to the living room. "Papa!" She smiled. I stop what I'm saying and direct my attention to her. "Ina! How are you?" I hold open my arms and she jumps into them. "I'm good, I'm better after sleeping well, but can I ask why Lilith seemed so strange last night?" Ina said. Lilith's face turns bright red and she starts to sweat. "Uh yeah uh let's not talk about that please okay, hey Ina how about we go shopping okay?" Lilith said. "Really?!" Ina smiled. "Yep" Lilith said. Lilith goes to get up but I grab her wrist. "Hold it, I want you to be safe, conceal your horns, tail and alter your hair color, if anyone suspects your a demon you could end up a target, I also don't want you to kill anyone because it would just attract more dislike towards you... I'll shoulder that myself" I said. "I'll be fine, if people want to see me as a demon then so be it, let them, I will not hide what I am" Lilith said. "Do as your told!" I said. Lilith grabs my shoulder and gets in my face. "My blood and body may be yours... but never forget who I am... I am Lilith... the first mother of demons... if humans prey upon me they shall find a void of despair waiting for them" Her eyes portray a sense of death and carnage as she says this. "Nobody will hurt Ina either, if they lay a finger on her... they'll die" She said. I look at Lilith and smile. "Yes ma'am, didn't know you were this dominate" I said. She recoils and blushes. "Shut up... I'm gonna go get changed into attire more suited for shopping and then me and Ina will be gone for a few hours, I trust you'll be fine while we're gone?" Lilith said. "Yes, just be safe okay?" I said. Lilith gives me a soft smile before placing a kiss on my face. Her and Ina the. Go upstairs. Around this point Lucillia walks out from the downstairs bedroom in her morning attire. "Morning Taylor darling, did you enjoy last night?" she said not realizing the crowd downstairs. She takes a moment and looks around the room. She goes silent for a moment then shrugs. "Eh, it's our house so I'm not gonna apologize if you all heard that" She said. She then sits down next to Taylor. Later that day... let's go to Lilith's perspective for a while. As Ina and I walk the streets several people give me nasty looks but I couldn't care less, I'm holding my daughter's hand and she seems more than happy. "Hey Ina, how about we look at some tailoring stores, see what they've made?" I said. So Ina and I walk into a small tailoring store and we look at some of there wears. "Hey Mama, can I ask you something, how long have you known papa?" Ina asked. "Well, I'm almost a few million years old, but his story is rather sad, I can't say he lives a good life to be honest" I said. Suddenly we hear screaming in the streets. Ina and I run outside and a monstrous beast and eating people. "Ina, stay right there, mama will take care of this" I said. I then whistle to get the monsters attention. It's half human, looks like someone recently mutated and went insane, but they're eating people and the hunters don't seem to have caught wind yet. "Hey ugly, c'mere!" I yell. The beast starts charging me and... BAM! I punched it in the face knocking it off course and causing it to stumble. "Didn't feel good did it? Hope that hurt because I got more where that came from" I said. The beast then gets back up. "What? It shrugged it off, that was a full force punch, alright, time to stop playing around" I hold out my hand and summon my scythe, its jet black, with large grooves in the blade, spikes and a large circle at the head with a ball of light in it. "See how you like this" I dash forward and slice the creature but it doesn't even cut through. Suddenly a tail bursts from it and WHAM! Slams me into a wall. People start running and a siren goes off. That must be to alert the hunters. I also use the symbol over my womb to pulse the matching symbol on Gavan's chest to alert him of what's going on... but wether he'll get here quickly or not is a matter of chance. Suddenly the creature looks at Ina. "Mama..." Ina said. My hearts sank for a moment. I'm pinned down and can't get up. "Ina! Ina!" The beast starts to charge her. I managed to get the rubble off me and wings burst from my back. CHOMP! I dash to her just in time to save her. "Ma...ma?" She looks at me and the sound of dripping blood is heard. "Ina... don't look... just keep your eyes focused on my smile okay... it hurts mommy a lot but papa will make sure I feel better..." I said. My left arm had been bitten off, completely torn from the socket and ripped off, blood dripping and spewing from the wound. "MAMA!" Back to Gavan's perspective... I turn the corner and I see Lilith hunched over Ina... and... her arm... it's gone... I see the creature and pull out my pistol and fire at it but the shots do nothing, it seemed to piss it off more than anything. "Ina, it has a weakness... and I think I just figured it out..." Lilith muttered. Lilith shakily stands up. "Hey! Ugly!" Lilith yells. "Lilith NO! Your hurt badly, stay down and keep Ina safe!" I yell. She looks over to me and smiles. The beast then charges her with its mouth open. Lilith smiles as she steps aside... she then quickly holds her scythe to the side, aligned with the beasts mouth and... SPLIT! The beast runs against the scythe blade cleaving itself in half. Me and the others are looking in Disbelief... the winged demon known as Lilith stands above the creature... almost mourning it. "I can see the recently deceased's memories... you poor soul..." her scythe slowly withers away and her wings fade away. "You must have loved her so much, she meant everything to you didn't she?" Lilith said. I run over to Lilith as she falls backwards. She's bleeding heavily and her eyes are dim. "Quick, get me something to hold up her bleeding, FAST!" I yell. Hours later. Lilith slowly opens her eyes... Ina is laying with her. Lilith begins to play with Ina's hair. I stand up and rush over to Lilith. "Lilith... I'm so sorry" I said. Cristen walks in and sits at the foot of the bed. "The remains where from a semi human corpse, half vampire half human, they found him injected with demons blood, albeit straight into his bloodstream" Cristen looks over to Lilith and frowns. "You poor thing... if one of us were there to help protect Ina you wouldn't have had to sacrifice an arm" She said. "It's alright... I was careless... it's my fault" suddenly Ina puts her head on Lilith's chest. "You saved me though, if you didn't I woulda been eaten! Papa you should have seen her!" Ina said. Lilith looks surprised for a moment before blushing. "But... I" I cut Lilith off by kissing her on the lips for a moment. "Gavan..." she said softly. "You saved Ina, isn't that what you promised you'd do?" I said. Lilith then remembered and starts crying. She sits up and looks at Ina and clutches her tightly. "Right, but I'm missing an arm now... I'm not gonna be liked as much as Lizzy or you Cristen" Lilith said. "Actually Gavan thought ahead for that one, he commissioned something for you out of his own pocket" Cristen said. "You what? What does she mean?" Lilith asked. I get up and grab a large box from behind the bed. "Here, this is for you, it's made with some of my alchemy skills and Josephs tech" I said. She then opens the box and inside is a prosthetic limb. The same color as human skin matching hers and everything. "It's even made of a synthetic material that mimics skin and flesh, so it'll feel like the real deal, minus the obvious finger and arm joints that can be seen, I just wanted your permission before I hooked it up to your nervous system" I said. "I want you to" Lilith said. "Alright, I'll have Sihlus help keep you sedated and keep you from bleeding while I making the incisions for the surgery, it'll all be done right here so your comfortable, but I'll need everyone out for this okay?" I said. Later that day everyone left and as I prep Lilith Sihlus walks out from the shadow of the room. "Oh Sihlus I believe this is yours" A small part of Sihlus crawls from my finger back to him. "Thank you, are you ready to begin Lilith?" Sihlus asked. "Yes, just try to not make me giggle" She said. Sihlus forms his finger into a small needle and injects it into Lilith's neck and he slightly shrinks in size, maybe about a foot and a half, his body is melted down and affecting her heart to slow blood flow to the area where I'm working. Within a few hours I've got the arm attached and set up. Sihlus separated from Lilith returned to his normal size and retreated back to the shadows. A few minutes later Lilith wakes up. She looks to her arm for a moment and slowly begins to move it. She moves her fingers around and lifts her arm. "How does it feel?" I asked. She turns it to look at the palm for a moment. "I can feel my fingers and everything... can you come closer for a moment?" She asked. I lean closer and she puts her hand on my face. "I can feel your face too... but I think it's high time I also alter my body to be much smaller in size like it used to be... skinnier and a muscular, less thick and busty" She said. She slowly stood up. Her body tones out, her chest shrinks down to a DD, her muscles in her right arm tones out, her legs muscles tone out. I look at her for a moment in awe as she returns to the form she is most known for... her true self... the First Mother of Demons. "My left arm may seem thin in comparison cause I can't alter it, but I am the Lilith you once knew as a queen of Demons" She said. She looks at me and smiles. "Let's go let the others know the arm works well" She takes my hand and rushes us out of the room. We go downstairs and everyone stands up at the sight of Lilith. "Lilith, you reverted back to your old looks, it's a good look for you honestly" Lizzy said. "Thanks Liz, the arm works great by the way, I can move it, feel with it and everything, it's a little weird still but I'll get used to it" Lilith said. Ina then walks up to Lilith and tears up. Lilith looks down at Ina and smiles. "Come here" She opens her arms and kneels down. Ina runs to Lilith and jumps into her arms. "I'm alright, I've been through worse, so there's no reason to cry" Lilith said. She gently strokes Ina's head. Ina looks at Lilith with sad eyes. "But you're missing an arm because you had to save me" Ina said. "Nonsense, I chose to save you because you're our daughter, no matter what I would've saved you even if you were a stranger... human or not, nobody should die afraid being eaten by a monster" Lilith said. Lilith stands up and stretches. "Alright, well, now that I'm muscly and sporting a six pack I suppose I should cut the girly act" She said. She then smirks and laughs. "Nah, I'll act girly and submissive if Gavan wishes me to" She smiles. I knew she was gonna say something weird... "Anyway, I just wanted to say I'm thankful for the arm, it feels like my arm never got taken off... but I know it isn't my arm" She said. Suddenly we hear a knock at the door. "Coming" Taylor said. He opens the door and a man in a black suit, red glasses and black hair stands at the door. "It's been a while, mortals" Said the man. Lilith rolls her eyes and scowls at them. "Tch... Lucifer" She scoffed.
