Without Pain

Beware my friends, the future is cloaked

In uncertainty and blissful hope,

Put out the fire and look past the smoke,

It seems that the future indeed can bring change

To turn away from my past of sorrowful nights,

Of hidden desires and pointless fights,

Of a hole in my heart full of crumpling light

In this new future, I'm free of these chains

I will live and love and tear my sadness apart

I will find peace and happiness in the depths of my heart

I will piece my heart together, part by part

I will try to re-live life without pain.
