My life is my love

I have a special gift,

Something I won't let anyone take from me.

It's the workings of this machine,

The soul to this body,

Sure, it's tough on me,

Always pushing me,

Sometimes breaking me.

But it will never pin me down,

I will get back up,

I will bloom from what's presumed dead.

Because, no matter how hard it tries,

I know I can't live without it.

Life is what gives me life after all.

Besides, pushing on is what

Rewards me.

Rewards me for being brave and for persevering.

Rewards me with pleasure and faith.

I love life.
