It was future me.

Across the distance I see a figure familiar to my own pair of eyes.

A girl beaming, laughing, and happy at all times.

She gives away smiles, taking the opportunity that they're for free.

She reflected so much kindness that I don't always see.

I approached her and she hugged me, her eyes radiating joyful rays.

She tells me about how lovely her world is. Her words were full of praise.

I ask her who she is, and she answers in glee.

And I can't believe it was future me.
