As I sit here trying to write

a love poem for you

no words enter my mind

I could say about your eyes

or your smile

I could comment on your hair

and relaxed lifestyle

But they are just things

that make me attracted to you

Love is different

I just can't explain

you're like the air I need to breathe

my constant sunshine

a calmness appears

when you're by my side

I'll never see darkness

whilst you're in my life

If this is called love

I can truly say

I love you til my final day.
