Finding myself 

As happy as I was to grow a little more,

to make my place in this world.

Nervousness peeping, scaring me

time by time, trying to push me back.

But I stood my ground.

Determined to make the odds in my favor

to show people my uniqueness too.

Sucking a little air, time by time

trying not to waste it.

Always dreaming of making sky the limit,

working for it too.

I want to see things with a different mirror

to fill my world and other's world with happiness.

I see myself changing my ways, trying to open up a little.

Stopping negative thoughts to get the better of me

and let the positive reside in me.

To open my inner eye and let peace fill my soul.

So, I walk forward on the journey of finding myself.

Determined to be successful not in terms of money but

in terms of happiness.
