I love you

as deep as oceans' blue

drowning in your love

left all worries behind

my love for you

went as far as twinkling stars

across milk way and galaxies

into dimensions unknown

I gave you my heart

planted seeds in your soil

watched the roots take hold

anchoring myself to you

so when you passed

I was broken in two

lost my way in the breeze

hurricane tears drowned my screams

yet I still love you

even though you are gone

every day I sing our song

and it warms my heart
