Mythology thing I made up (Non-related to other stuff)
I ended up creating these like... five gods. The ideas sound okay, but I don't think I'm ever going to use it hhhhhh-
But here it is:
The universe started with Fantään. Fantään was the goddess of the Genesis, or the first things in existence, as well as the goddess of dreams, desires, and parenthood. She is also THE universe. Fantään is described as a black fog that flashed colors sometimes, although she is also described as a black cow made of smoke, a human made of smoke, or a cow-headed human made of smoke.
After swimming around in the abyss for eons, with no company other than herself, she decided to create Terra, or as we know it, Earth. Fantään made it out of strands of the firmest furs and smoke on her body, her tears of loneliness and misery, a tip of her cosmic horns, and brought to life with her powers of dream magic.
She made animals and plants with her imagination, and made two things she called "crowns" with shining things in them called "jewels" and "gems" that both shine light on the new creation. The "gold" jeweled crown radiated warmth, and the "silver" one radiated coolness, creating a balance between the two.
Lastly, she made what she called an "egg", hoping to give herself a surprise. Some company would be nice, after all., she thought.
She waited. And waited. She waited a thousand more eons, but it never hatched. Disappointed, she gave up hoping it would hatch, but still protected it from the debris of her tiny little pebble work of art.
Fantään still was lonely. And very disappointed. To vent her disappointment, she needed something a bit more... sentient. And so, she went to work again, shaping and sculpting bits of cloud, sand, water, and magic together to create the first generation of Humans. With these humans, she entered their minds and teased them with their wishes and dreams, occasionally blessing them or talking with her creations. She was satisfied, completely. Or so she thought.
The humans worshipped her as the Divine Mother, and some felt sorry for her. Some imagined what it would be like if her egg hatched. Fantään laughed. It was fine. Besides, it wouldn't change anything, right?
Except it did, and her egg hatched, into a scaly little thing with many colors and traits. It was almost as if the people themselves helped bring her new little piece of sunshine into fruition. Maybe they did. Fantään loved her child, and named it "Patchwork". The second god was born.
~~
Patchwork is the child of Fantään, but was brought into existence mostly because of the humans themselves. Their belief and thoughts helped shape it, and was a success. Patchwork is the "main" god, as Fantään stepped back when Patchwork grew up to transfer the spotlight over. She was completely satisfied, and would now just watch in the background, her existence only proven by her dreams.
Patchwork never has one solid description, but he is mostly described as a colassal dragon with many clawed limbs and angelic wings. He also has a human form, although his human form must at the very least have some of his Dragon traits, like his wings and/or his head.
Patchwork is mostly described as male, for ease, but they are actually genderless, as gender is of utmost unimportance to him. Patchwork doesn't care what clothes humanity decides to give him.
He is the embodiment of all the gods that humanity has made throughout history, and therefore, his look is never the same.
It is said that the calm breath of Patchwork causes the tides and winds, and that his roars and sneezes can cause the natural disasters of the world.
Patchwork despises blood and flesh sacrifices, and prefers offerings of flowers, crops, and prayers instead.
He is basically all-powerful, and the peaceful offerings usually keep him happy for long enough.
It is also said that although Fantään was the one who officially named him, Patchwork suggested it to her.
~~
One day, Patchwork got lonely of being the only god other than Fantään, his mother, and one day approached her, changing his size to somewhat match hers.
"Mother", said he, finding the words as he went. "I've been thinking... would it not be better if we had company? My only company is you, but I do not wish to bother your peaceful swimming."
Fantään thought upon this. She could see why he asked, and so, she agreed. "Very well. What would you like?"
"I would like a sibling. A sibling about perhaps just some millennia and eon younger than me. One that will not act like the ones that Humans have, that like to bother their older siblings. A brother, maybe, if that is not too much to ask."
His mother beckoned to him. "Come. Let me show you how to harness the Magic around us."
And so, the Sibling, named Laze by Patchwork, was created.
Laze was actually very peaceful. Peaceful in the way that he'd rather slumber and Dream and play, rather than do work with Patchwork.
He s described as a red and black dragon in dragon form, although his human form is never proper, and always keeps his red and black scales, his dragon feet, and his tail. He looks merely 13 in this form, compared to Patchwork's look of about 20. Laze is the god of death, and embodiment of hell.
At this point of time, Patchwork would notice that Earth was slowly sinking to the outer parts of Fantään's body, and would soon be lost, and so, he changed size to about the size of the piece of rock, and carried it in his claws, his initial fumbling creating the canyons and other unaquatic imperfections on it. Earth was heavier than he thought, but if he stayed at this size, it would be much harder to lose it, and although hard in effort, he could manage to stabilize the Earth's position on Fantään's smoke.
He tried to get his brother to assist him when Patchwork was too busy defending the Earth from debris to help carry it, but Laze was too invested in slumber and play.
Finally, Patchwork got angry, and after Laze turned into smaller form to sleep comfortably on his mother, Patchwork heaved the Earth, accidentally causing the Marina Trench and the tectonic plates, and tossed the planet onto Laze, who although alarmed for a bit, continued sleeping, the Earth secure on his back.
Seeing how this worked out, Patchwork grabbed some clouds and smoke, and shaped into a rope to tie the Earth onto Laze, just in case.
Laze, who although is usually not involved in Patchwork's work, knew of the importance and decided to play by making a small clone of himself to walk around the Earth and in/on him instead.
Although the embodiment of hell, its not in the way expected. Laze's insides are another dimension, and the only reason it looks bad and maybe firey is because, well, it's his insides. Laze, like other gods, need sacrifices or offerings (Fantään feeds on the emotions felt in dreams and anything else, although she doesn't need as much). He feeds on the souls of those who have died, and those souls live in the dimension of his insides. Laze compares the tastes to "spicy food" or "mints and ice cream", and doesn't seem to notice how weird that makes him. He's also not evil- he's just too curious for his own good, and is the family shower thoughts producer. He whispers to humans in their dreams to do the stuff he's too lazy to do because he wants to know what would happen. (For example: What would happen if THIS humans stabs THAT one with a knife? What would happen if this human- so on.)
~~
Then, there's two non-eldritch gods. Haas and Xof.
Haas is the goddess of luck, rabbits, spring and summer, and the sun. Xof is god of bad luck, foxes/jackals, fall and winter, and the moon.
Xof is a humanoid black jackal with terrifying glowing red eyes. He wears a hunter's clothing, and has multiple types of weapons attached to a belt. Haas is a human in a yellow dress and a brown rabbit's head, although her rabbit face has four ears and grey eyes.
Xof wears the silver crown and Haas wears the gold.
Haas is always fleeing from Xof, who always pursues her. Eclipses are caused when Xof catches up to Haas and Haas is forced to try to defend herself, as she is unable to escape him. However, like all eclipse stuff, certain chants and music helps break the two apart and let's Haas escape one again.
Xof always seems to the left of Haas because he tries to steer Haas into the Earth to destroy it.
It is said that the reason why Patchwork does nothing about this is because the two of them are possibly either aspects of him or his children.

HAHA I'm finally done- huzzah-
