It was our last day in woods. I woke up to the thoughts of how romantically Karthik proposed the other day. I woke up sitting on bed touching his bracelet tied to my anklet. That made me blush out my heart all of a sudden.

"Morning Ishi", Rupa wished coming out of bathroom.

"Morning Rupa!"

"Today is our last day in woods", she said wiping her washed wet hairs.

"Yeah, I know. It's a great holiday right"

"Definitely! I never spent this long period of time out with Rahul before", she blushed.

"I know!", I got down from bed lazily to go give her a hug.

"And the great thing is Ishi found love of her life", She screamed.

"Yes!!" I screamed too

"We are so happy for you", she said hugging me.

"Thanks Rupa"

"Before you get carried away in Karthik's thoughts, go fresh up and come down for breakfast. We will go for a walk", she said leaving the room

I quickly finished my morning routine and changed to comfortable leggings and tunic to go out for a walk.

Quickly combed my hairs to make a comfortable yet pretty messy bun.

Someone knocked the door when I was applying lip balm as final touch.

"Door is open. Please come in", I shouted.

"Good morning my pretty lady!", Karthik entered the room

"Karthik!! Good morning! What?! Why are you here now?! Did anybody see you coming in?!"

"That's too many questions to answer in one go. And to answer the important one, All of them are in garden planting seedlings as rememberence of our holiday here", he quickly answered.

"Aww that's so nice and thoughtful"

"Yes it is! And do you wanna give me something in rememberence of this amazing holiday", he said coming closer to me.

"I gave you all myself. I'm all yours. What else do you want?"

"Aww! Say more of it", he said pulling my waist closer to him.

"I love you Karthik", I said running my fingers into his silky hairs.

"You have no idea how much I love you", he pulled me even more tighter to kiss wiping away the lip balm I applied.

"You are so good at kissing", I said smiling.

"Ahaa you are yet to experience a lot many!",

"I love you", I said looking deep into his eyes.

"I love you 3000", he said kissing me once again on my forehead.

"Karthik!", Someone opened the door suddenly.

I gently pushed Karthik away real quick adjusting my dress.

It was Sameera. Thank God she didn't notice any of it.

"What are you both doing here when everybody is down at garden?

"I just came here to bring Ishi down there", Karthik replied.

"Ishi!! When have you started giving pet names to people this quick", she laughed sarcastically rising her eyebrow into an arc.

"Not an important topic to discuss I guess. Let us start moving", he replied moving out from door.

Sameera too followed him giving me a grumpy look.

This woman makes me feel like punching on her face but all I could do is just walk along.

We went out for a stroll after finishing seed plantation and breakfast.

We took steps into the trees talking about how fast the days just flew off.

Sameera was holding Karthik's arms as if he's her territory.

I wanted to pull her away from Karthik and shout at her "He is mine witch! HE IS MINE!!" but all I could do is just walk along.

"Why is she acting so weird today?", Keerthi pulled me aside and asked.

"Who knows? Always looks for some drama", I groaned.

"Look at Karthik. He's keep on turning back to check on you", Keerthi smiled

"I know", I giggled looking at his poor face

"Hey guys look at there!" Kamal screamed pointing to the west.

We turned to see a beautiful arch of colours.

"Wow! It's a rainbow", Nancy screamed.

"Woah! how beautiful it is", Rupa amazed holding to Rahul's arms even tighter.

"Let's take a picture altogether!", Nancy said in excitement.

We captured memories into camera before heading further.

"So there isn't any plan for today?", Keerthi asked.

"No Keerthi. It's our last day right, So it's spending a day as our wish kind of day", Rahul answered looking back at Keerthi and me who were walking behind them.

"How about having a campfire tonight!?", Nancy threw a gem idea as always.

I like the way her brain works. Full of crazy ideas and child like excitement.

"Wow! That's an amazing idea dude!", Arun hyfied Nancy who was walking beside him.

"That's a great idea!", Sameera screamed still holding on to Karthik's hands.

"Let's collect some logs on our way back for fire", Rahul suggested.

We set the fire and arranged some snacks and drinks around it. Nancy put on some soft music vibing with the evening weather.

We were all sitting around the fire in comfortable clothes. Kamal and Rahul were filling empty glasses with fine wine which they brought on their way to the trip.

Flames of fire made the wine appear more stronger and beautiful. Nancy grabbed her glass, said cheers to all and gulped it in one go.

Sameera was sipping it slowly ensuring her bright red lipstick is not wiping off from her thin lips.

"Everything is great but I don't see any entertainment. How about Rupa and Rahul dance together and entertain us", Sameera said

"Yeah that would be fun", Kaml added

"We would love to guys", Rahul said looking at Rupa for her willingness.

She stood up holding his hand with a smile.

Couple were dancing to the music in their flow.

"We would love to see you proposing your lady man", Karthik screamed winking at Rahul

Rahul knelt down on his knees to prose Rupa. He slowly grabbed her right hand and planted a kiss on it before looking into Rupa's eyes and say those three magical words that clearly drove butterflies in Her stomach. She started blushing and couldn't control herself but knelt down on her knees and kissed Rahul on his forehead repeating those three magical words as reply to him.

We cheered them up lifting our wine filled glasses.

"That's so sweet both of you", Karthik lifted his glass again

Rupa is such a kind hearted soul. I felt damn happy looking at her happy face and wished them life time of love and togetherness in my heart.

They were back to their places and grabbed their glasses.

"Now whose turn is it to entertain?", Keerthi said

"How about we both sing a song", Nancy asked Keerthi

"Sure!", Keerthi was as excited as Nancy.

They turned out to be a good friends in such a less time. Keerthi get along with people so easily unlike me and Rupa.

They started singing a soothing song and we were clapping to the notes. They were looking at each other often to ensure their pitch and tone are matching with each other.

Kamal joined them too in couple of minutes. He made their performance more lively by adding little moves to the song.

"That was like a professional band singing with all the elements", I said clapping to them.

"Yes it is", Karthik added up to me

"Thank you guys" Nancy screamed.

"Now it's Ishi's time to dance", Keerthi said coming back to her place.

"Heard from Rupa that you are a great dancer", Rahul said

"Yes she has been learning dance from her childhood", Keerthi added

I can never say no to dance. I Confidently hit the floor dancing to whatever music playing.

They were all cheering me up with their glasses. I could see Karthik's admiring looks at me. He put his glass aside and staring at me in a trance.

I finished my dance with a quick two rounds and a pose.

"Woah! That was damn good Ishi", Nancy cheered me up

"That's so graceful", Kamal added

Everyone praised me except Sameera. She was sipping on her drink looking away from all.

I got back to my place thanking them all

"I wanna show you all few steps which I learned recently from someone", Karthik said excitedly

"Come on bro", Rahul cheered him up

"We would love to see Karthik", Nancy added up

Karthik left a brief glance at me before taking his spot to dance.

I knew he is going to dance to Ed Sheeran Perfect which I taught him on boat house. I smiled within myself looking at him with all love.

"Is that you from whom he learned it?", Keerthi who was sitting beside me leaned to my ear and whispered

I winked at her as an yes

Nancy played the song 'Perfect' as Karthik asked. He started slowly moving showing us all an imaginary girl dancing along with him in his moves. Ofcourse that imaginary girl is me. I couldn't stop myself from blushing.

Sameera stood up from her place with her wine glass walking towards Karthik who was indulged in his moves.

We didn't understand what was happening for a moment until Sameera went too close to Karthik and kissed him in fraction of seconds

I stood still at my place watching Karthik trying to step back from her but Sameera leaned forward and tried to kiss him again. And the next thing we could see Karthik slapped Sameera.

Wine glass fell down from her hand, Ed Sheeran kept singing, flames of fire kept breathing in more oxygen. But we stopped breathing for a moment in shock.

Sameera looked at Karthik in anger for a moment and ran inside the house.

Everything happened in seconds.

Rahul went to Karthik who hit a log in anger, "it's okay Karthik, calm down"

"Are you okay Ishi?", Keerthi asked me

I was still in shock staring at Karthik

"We will go check on Sameera", Nancy and Kamal left the fire place

"Why can't she understand that I don't have feelings for her anymore", Karthik screamed.

"Ishi, are you okay", Rupa asked

"I'm fine", I said moving towards Karthik

I held Karthik's hands looking into his eyes for a brief moment.

He hugged me tight. We didn't speak to each other anything but we did spoke in our way.
