Chapter 20: Reveal of Secrets

"Well that was fun," I replied as I plopped onto the bed to get comfortable. "Yup, by the way, you rock at bowling." Allison gave me a pointed look as if she knew I was hiding something. "Thanks, but I can't even get started on how amazing you are! I actually think bowling is really awesome. I should take Sam, Cas, and Dean sometime." I spoke aloud. Condescending silence continued, as I stared at the white ceiling. She laid on a air mattress that she quickly filled up. It was very tall and plush, about the same size as the bed. We didn't have time to set up the other room with sheets and everything, but she said it was alright for me to take the bed.

"I have my Aunt's funeral tomorrow." Allison murmured. I didn't answer, allowing her to continue. "Kate and I were close, she was like an older sister to me. She did wrong things, this whole family business is just crap." I nodded, "Tell me about it," I added with a sigh.

With a smile, she turned her head to face mine. "You have too many secrets for your own good." I raised an eyebrow at her accusation, how did she know? I honestly thought I was doing a pretty good job at hiding everything. Considering Scott and Stiles already knew I was lying about my name, I am pretty sure I was only tricking myself. "So do you," I countered with a sly smile. "Touche," she simply replied. "Well, I am not going to be here for too long, and I've never actually made a friend before. Maybe I should start explaining some things," I wondered. "Ask any question and I will answer them," I promised. I always heard it would feel nice to get something off your chest.

"What do you mean by you understand what I meant by family business?" She started off. "Well, I suppose you might know, but Dean and Sam are hunters just like your family. I just recently found out that Dean was my father, so I got thrown into the hunter life just as fast. I don't feel like I will ever have a choice, you know?" Sighing as a small weight left my shoulders that carried stress, I smiled. I feel as if I finally made a right decision in telling Allison.

"I recently found out about my family being werewolf hunters too. Scott from bowling is a werewolf, do you know how complicated that is?" She asked, her voice straining with frustration. "I know he is," I simply remarked, awaiting her question to follow my statement. "How?" She demanded. "During bowling he confronted me, after a talk about what I was, he told me what he was." I explained, hoping she wouldn't ask the most dreadful question. "And what exactly are you?" Her full attention was on me, watching my motives closely, inspecting for a lie. "You wouldn't believe me," I countered, flicking my gaze away from her wide doe eyes. "Then show me," she replied.

Sighing, what was I getting myself into? Focusing my attention on my eyes, I made sure it was my angel side that rose. I could feel my eyes switch to a bright blue color. "Are you a werewolf?" She gasped in shock. "No, I am half angel," I remarked with a lopsided grin. "But that doesn't make sense," she whispered to herself. "What can you do?" She asked curiously. "I don't know most my abilities, but a man once told me I could use telekinesis, heal people, and pretty much just heightened senses and speed." She gaped at me, "Who knows?"

"The main people are just Sam, Dean, Scott, Stiles, and now you." I skipped out Castiel, not really wanting to go into depth about him. Before she asked, I quickly cut in, "My mother was the angel counterpart." She nodded, eyes glistening with something I couldn't place before she switched her gaze. "So what about you? Any secrets your withholding?" I asked. "Scott and I are dating, but if my dad found out, I don't know if he would kill me or him first."

"I have something for you to wear tomorrow if you didn't bring anything," she added, trying to dodge the conversation. "Thank you, I actually didn't think about bringing any funeral clothing," I noted dryly. Tomorrow was the funeral, and New Year's for that matter. What a fun, family way to spend it.
