Chapter 19: Teen Wolf Crossover

Just a heads up you do not have to have watched Teen Wolf to understand this! I was having extreme writer's block, so I decided on adding fandom crossovers. Hope you enjoy :)

Eavesdropping isn't necessarily that bad, right? It's technically not my fault for doing it, I'm the one not being caught. I told everyone I was going to bed, but whispering caught my attention. Dean was on the phone, "What do you mean Kate is dead?" He yelled, no longer whispering. Who's Kate? "I'll be over before New Years." Dean added, with a click as he ended the call. "Who was that?" Sam asked. "The Argent family, Kate is dead. Her funeral is tomorrow, so we better get moving right now if we want to make it."

"Dean, Kate made a lot of wrong decisions. She burned down that building, and it didn't kill just werewolves, also innocents," Sam argued. Not able to see their expressions, I focused solely on their voices. "I know that, but Sammy, she made sacrifices for us as well. She saved your life, you know that." Dean countered, and I knew Dean was going to triumphantly win the argument. "And if we find out Kate has been killed by a werewolf, we just found ourselves a job. Kate's been on these werewolves for years, man."

"Fine, but what should we tell Essence?"

"The basics, just that she is a hunter friend of ours. Don't include what she has done," Dean's order infuriated me. Why wouldn't he tell me everything? I thought we were over the whole secrets act. "We should tell her everything," Sam demanded as if it wasn't up for question. I took a step out of my hiding place, "I agree with Sam. Let's go before we miss the funeral," I replied with a satisfied grin at the dumbfounded looks they gave me.

I didn't pack much, just the necessities I needed for the hopefully short trip. Gripping my duffel bag and sauntering into the back seat of the Impala, Dean and Sam sat inside already waiting patiently. "Where are we going?" I asked curiously, wondering how far we were. "Beacon Hills, California. It will take roughly five hours, feel free to sleep through it." Sam filled me in, carrying on with information such as what Kate Argent did. She did save Sam's life from a werewolf, but that is the only species they think she knows about. Her brother, Chris Argent, has a daughter named Allison. Everyone is about my age, and Sam and Dean want me to keep quiet about who I was. In fact, they wanted to change pretty much everything about me, including my name for the time being. I got to pick a name, with the priority of my last name being Winchester. "How about Luna?" Dean smiled like it was an inside joke. I raised an eyebrow at him, "Sure, but why Luna?"

"You know what Alpha is to a wolf pack, right?" Dean asked, while I nodded. Oh, I thought, knowing what he meant as he carried on with his explanation. "An Alpha's mate, or kind of like a co-leader to the pack is called a Luna." I mumbled, "Oh okay, Luna it is," before drifting off into a blissful sleep.

Waking up with a jolt, I quickly fixed my brown hair in the viser. Taking a deep breath, I looked at the small town curiously. It was like I could sense the other supernatural beings that inhabited the town. Instead of expecting an eery feeling with being able to sense them, it felt secure and safe. I was with others that were unique, and understood what I was going through.

We pulled into a nice concrete driveway, a large brick house stood in front of us. It was hard to see the details since it was dark outside. "Wow," I breathed in surprise. "Where are we going to stay?" I asked curiously. "Here, they said it was alright if you stayed in the room across from Allison's. Don't get to attached to everyone, we are leaving after our work here is done." Dean warned, while receiving a glare from Sam.

Walking side by side into the house with Dean, we were immediately welcomed by a man with short, dirty brown hair and bright blue eyes, along with scruff as a beard. "Welcome Sam and Dean," he smiled warmly at them before gazing at me. "And you are?" He asked me. I opened my mouth to instinctively say Essence, but Dean cut in. "This is my daughter, Luna Winchester," he smiled proudly. "I can speak for myself," I nodded at Dean. "Names Luna Winchester," I repeated with a smile. "Nice to meet you, Luna, I am Chris Argent." He shook my hand with a chuckle.

"Dad, who are they?" A girl around my age walked in, doe like dark brown eyes matched her slightly curly, long hair. Cheekbones and pink lips touched her features, her eyes slightly red, making me immediately sympathize. "These are the Winchester's, they will be staying with us for a while. They were good friends of Kate's," he explained, wrapping his arm around her. "This is Allison," he added. "I can speak for myself, but nice to meet you." She reprimanded her father, and I knew I would get along well with her. Chris's eyes lit up, "I'm going to talk to Luna's father and Uncle for a while, would you mind showing her to her room?"

Allison nodded, motioning for me to follow. "See you later Dean, Sam," I smiled at them before following Allison up a set of stairs. "That was your dad, right?" She asked me curiously. "Yeah," I whispered. "Daddy issues, huh?" She inquired. "Yeah," I repeated. "What about your mom?" It felt like an interrogation, but I would be just as curious so I let it slide. "She died," I answered, making her look at me differently. Not with pity, but it was like she was going to open up to me. "I'm sorry, I feel like you will get along well with my friends though. Would you like to sneak out with me tonight?" I laughed lightly at her question. That was the last thing I was expecting her to ask me.

"Why not? I did this all the time." We sauntered into her room, "You can just set your stuff in here for now. Sorry for being a little curious, but what do you mean you did this all the time?" I sighed, I could tell her, right? I haven't had a friend, and the thing I wanted most was to be able to confide in someone. "It's all good. I have been in a bunch of foster homes since I could remember, and I kept running from each one. Soon after that cops chased me. And then a man found me, turns out he knew Dean Winchester, he knew my father." She nodded, "I think we will get along just fine." She smiled at me, opening her window and climbed out of it. I followed, as we stealthily slid down her roof. "We are going to the bowling alley with my friends, there names are Lydia, Stiles, Isaac, and Scott."

"Any of them you are interested in?" I asked, it was my turn to ask questions. Brushing a strand of her hair behind her ear, she laughed lightly. "I don't know yet, relationships are messed up. Just a heads up, when we get there, they are going to ask a lot of questions too. We don't really get new of anything here in Beacon Hills." I thanked her for the information as we arrived at the bowling alley.

"Have you ever bowled?" She asked casually as we walked inside. "Nope," I laughed nervously, hoping to not make a fool of myself. She looked at me outrageously, "First of all, I can not believe you just said no to that. Second, how bad can you be?" I shook my head at her, she had no idea.

"And looks like they are already here," she noted as we wandered over to there seats. Curious glances were thrown in my direction, and all I knew was I wanted to make a good impression. "My name is Luna Winchester, I am here because my dad and Uncle are here for Kate. Shoot all your questions at me now before we start, please." I added in a sweet smile. "What are you?" Asked a man with tanned skin, defined muscles, and brown-I think eyes. My smile faltered when I stared at him, his eyes were golden. "What do you mean, what am I?" I asked, trying to regain myself. He gripped my arm, pulling me away, another person following him. He had dark brown hair, a few moles dotted his jawline.

"You aren't a werewolf, so what are you?" I gaped at him. "I saw your eyes, so that is what they mean?" He nodded brusquely, but stared at me hard. "Yours glowed blue, what are you?" How did he see that? I thought I would have been able to sense that. "You want to know the truth?" I whispered, suddenly feeling open. He was a supernatural creature, just like me. "Please believe me when I say I am half angel. My mother, who's now dead, used to be one." I explained, purposely skipping out the part of my demon half. Sam implied that werewolves can sense lies depending on your heartbeat, so I twisted the truth as much as I could. "Where are your wings and halo?" The other guy asked sarcastically. I rolled my eyes, "It doesn't work like that."

"Scott, don't tell me you believe this," he asked. "My name is Scott, this is Stiles," he murmured as if in trance. "She didn't lie, I listened to her heart." Stiles and Scott stared at me. "But out of all the things, you lie over your name?" Scott asked me with a lopsided smile. "Yup." I replied honestly. Stiles looked at me weirdly, while I walked back over to the group. "I am ready to bowl," I chanted with a fake grin. What was I getting myself into?
