Espio's Pov

We ran towards Eggman's Lair to save Daphne and of course I'm carrying Hayley who is shaking like crazy. "Hayley why don't you calm down?" I ask really worried about her "I'm sorry I'm just worried about Daphne besides it's been 8 years since I last saw her." Hayley said starting to have tears in her eyes. "Hayley it's alright we're going to save her from Eggman and those Ninjas. Besides you're not doing it by yourself either." I said Hayley nodded her head as she is calming down, I look over the distance and seeing the rest of the gang going to Eggman's Lair in the opposite direction.

Meanwhile in the Lair:

Daphne's Pov

"Let me go you evil scientist!" I yell through the glass of the capsule "It has been awhile "Chaotix Ninja"!" The Dark Ninja said I was shocked I thought I locked him and the other ninjas in the chamber. "How did you evil ninjas escape your prison down in the chamber?!" I asked furiously "I use the ninjadarium to unleash them from their cages." Eggman said showing me the book then walking away from me I started to bang on the glass trying to bust out of here but it's not working. Please someone help me.

Knuckles' Pov

We ran to Eggman's Lair and caught up with the others and Espio hold Hayley still trying to calm her down plus we have all seven chaos emerald to stop Eggman and those Ninjas from hurting Daphne. "So what's the plan?" I ask because I have nothing in my head that would work "I think it's best if I go in there alone." Espio said hugging Hayley tight.

Hayley's Pov

"Espio no." I said scare of what might happen to him. He looked down at me and press his on mine "Hayley I'm afraid it's the only way." Espio said handing me to Vector making his way to the entrance of the lair.

Dr. Eggman's Pov

I was checking the monitor until the security alarm went off. I checked the cameras and saw Espio on his way to save Daphne "Dark Ninja you might need to prepare yourself because Espio is on his way here. I warned the Ninja "Don't worry besides it was all his fault that I didn't kill Hayley." Dark Ninja said preparing to fight. "Eggman let Daphne go at once!" Espio said getting ready to throw a shiruken at us. "Well before we start..." I said as I pressed a button to electrocute Daphne. "Ahh!" Daphne screamed in pain and fell to her knees. But then the chaos emeralds circle him but he didn't turn gold, he turn in a dark purplish-black color and his eyes are pure white. He laughed evily and attack us and grabbed the ninjadarium from me, picked up Daphne and flew off.
