Werewolves were beasts. They fought fellow packs and even attacked each other. They were easily angered, pride being a weakness they all had.

Werewolves were dominating and didn't like to be defied, especially Alpha's, the wolves that held the leading title of a pack. All wolves were stubborn and strong, the Alpha being even more so.

These creatures were seen as monsters to any that knew about them. Angry beasts that attacked humans and lurked in the woods, waiting for a chance to lunge at the prey.

However, all things that are foreign to others are usually misunderstood. When it comes to werewolves, they are the most passionate creatures you can have as a mate. A soul-mate. A lover. A partner. A friend.

Hunters don't see it that way.

So when Macey Jacks is captured by the creatures she fears, hunts, and kills, she is desperate for a way out. No matter how many times the Alpha declares his possession over her, she is not falling for his 'game.'

Macey was leaving, escaping a pack of beasts that all knew the importance of her being there.

And she would do it by acting. Acting as if she cared for this Alpha. Acting as if the thought of running repulsed her.
