"There goes my wallet I guess...-"

Alice sulked as they both walked back back while carrying the bags filled with lingerie and women's clothing that Autumn bought.

"A bet is a bet Alastor"

Autumn jokingly said and Alice just mimicked how Autumn said Alastor and they continued their walk. But that peaceful walk filled with jokes and conversations was cut short when sudden gunshots started to break out.

The sound was all too familiar to Alice as she started to glance around, trying to find a certain boy in shorts.

"What's happening—"

"Autumn I need you to get home without me. I promise that I'll come back soon—I....I just need to do something"

Alice said, Autumn didn't seem all too convinced with that promised but stubbornly sighed as she nodded and ran to the direction of their apartment to get away from the shoot out.

With Autumn gone Alice decided to quickly head into Elliot's place to try and find Five there.

As Alice got there she saw a very familiar light of blue appear as a boy came out of it. Alice made her way as she walked up to Five placing a hand on his shoulder to get his attention only for her hand to be grabbed tightly and twisted as she was pinned to the wall.

"Are you with those swedes?"

Five threatened close to Alice's ear which Alice should feel threatened but instead she felt her face heat up by how close they both were.

"Five.....it's Alice—"

And hearing that Five immediately let go as the sound of her voice was all too familiar and sounded like the Alice he knew.

"I'm, uh,sorry—"

"It's fine, although you might have twisted my already twisted arm from last night."

Alice said as she winced and rubbed her arm a bit, Five observed her a bit as he noticed the various bandages and some bruises on her arms and face.

"New hair?"

Five pointed out as he glanced up a certain man looking out the window and the various equipment on the roof

"Yeah, had to find a way to adapt after being...you know.. "

Alice trailed off as she noticed the somewhat guilty look on Five's face.

"But hey! At least I'm not burnt to crisp, so you practically saved us"

Five nodded at Alice's attempt to cheer him up a bit as they blinked inside.

"So, you know this guy or something?"

"Yeah, he's a bit of a conspiracist"

Alice said as well as gesturing that he was also kind of koo koo in the head. Five nodded as he registered the information and knocked on the door.

Elliot opened the other door next to it as he asked what did they want.

"Hi, were selling encyclopedias for our youth group and we were curious if—"

Five didn't even get to finish whatever made up front lie he had as Elliot closed the door in their faces.

"Rude, but door to door advertising is kind of annoying—"

Alice shrugged at Five as he proceeded to blink the two of them inside. Which startled Elliot quite a bit as he started scrambling and finding something sharp to defend himself with.

"That's quite a tiny weapon"

Alice commented as she looked around while Elliot asked Five some questions. You know standard conspiracy theorist stuff, meanwhile Alice went ahead and poured Five some coffee and handed it to him before he could even ask.

"Have you ever heard of Area 51? Roswell?"

Alice couldn't help but chuckle a bit as she remembered how that whole incident went down in her world.

"You'd be surprised on how it's turned into some trendy thing in my universe"

Alice muttered out as she decided to take a seat in one of the couches while Elliot celebrated upon hearing what Five said.

"—why is it always anal probe?"

"Ask the shadow government, or the aliens that walk among you"

Alice decided to tease Elliot a little as he seemed to believe every word she just said.

"Moving on, all those contraptions on the roof, you built those right?"

"Yeah, yeah, sure I did, I've been tracking anomalie in the atmosphere. Just waiting"

"For what?"

"For you, for all of you"

Elliot said as he glanced at Alice and Five while he explained his whole experience watching as Five's siblings started appearing between years and months.

"Did you get a good look at any of them?"

"Yeah, the first one and then the big sensitive one"

"Sensitive?"

Five questioned as Alice snorted at the description of Luther.

"Yeah he wasn't the only one, uh she was also one of the arrivals. But you sorta had longer hair and uh, sorry I didn't help you when you got cornered in by one of those guys back then"

Elliot said as Alice muttered out an okay while ignoring Five's stare at her.

"Look, I work with Luther so he's gonna be easy to find without me spoiling stuff. Same goes for Diego, uh Elliot the newspaper?"

Alice said as she held out her palm while Elliot realized what she was talking about and rummaged for the newspaper article.

"Arrival number four, I always thought this looked like him"

"Diego"

Five said as he quickly placed the cup of coffee down and grabbed the newspaper article about Diego. Alice thought that was her cue to stand up from the couch as Five blinked them both out of Elliot's.

The person behind the desk told them to wait for a bit as they were calling Diego over. They both sat down as they waited and Alice could feel Five stare at her, there was a sudden tension between them when Elliot mentioned what happened to Alice in the alleyway.

"What did Elliot mean when.....some guys cornered you? Did something happened or?—"

"Nothing, nothing happened.....it was a close one but luckily someone who was kind enough to give me a place to stay all these weeks saved me before anything happened."

Alice explained as her leg bounced eagerly wanting to just see Diego already so that she won't have to talk about this.

"The bruises, did someone—"

"I just got into a fight, no worries, I can handle myself now. Luther has been teaching me how to fight these past few weeks"

Five gave her a 'really?' look as if he couldn't believe that Luther could teach someone. And honestly, Alice thought about that at first but she surprisingly made progress.

"Yeah, I mean, he's still annoying to be honest but he's really taught me how to defend myself while......well while you were gone. But, I know that you didn't mean to strand us here and thanks to you were not crushed or burnt to crisp so..."

Alice just sort of trailed off as she couldn't say that her stay here in the 60s has been all that great. They sat in silence as one of the nurses finally came in to update them.

"Diego is now ready to see you"

One of the nurses said as he began to lead them to where Diego is.

"Five, Alice?"

Diego said as he glanced at Alice's now short hair.

"Looks like you grew yours out and I chopped off mine"

Alice commented as she pointed out that Diego basically looked like Tarzan. Diego ignored the comment and sat in front of them.

"About time you both show up"

"Actually, I was gonna pay you a visit—but I didn't know what mental asylum you were placed in"

Alice shrugged and Diego just rolled his eyes and sighed which may or may not have offended Alice. Cause, it was kind of rude of him and also she had to actually adapt into the 60s by making money and stuff instead of being hero and changing something that can affect the future.

"How'd you know I'd be back?"

"Cause that's the kind of shit you pull"

"And you didn't bother to behave all those seventy five days until Five arrives?"

Alice raised a brow at Diego, calling out his obsession with saving JFK. Diego scoffed at Alice's comment and this made Alice narrow her eyes at him.

"You're one to talk with those bandages on you..-"

Diego muttered out as Alice just rolled her eyes at him as she scoffed at his statement.

"So how'd you find me?"

With gentle scoff, Alice watched as Five pulled out the newspaper article as he read what was written about Diego in it.

"You really got to stop this hero complex of yours Diego—"

Alice scoffed as she crossed her arms glancing at the article with a mugshot of Diego.

"Let's just say Dallas Law Enforcement has not been supportive of my attempt to stop the assassination of... ...John F. Kennedy."

"Because it hasn't happened yet."

"And it's not going to happen. Not on my watch—"

"Diego, our existence in this timeline is dangerous as it is. Ever heard of the butterfly effect genius?"

Alice scolded, changing something as big as JFK's death is bound to leave some major changes in the future. Well, it's not like they already haven't changed the timeline with Reg adopting new sets of kids and replacing them.

"I don't care what you two say, I've been shaving the bars in my room and another day or two and I'll be out of this place. Then I'm gonna stop Oswald and save the president—you want in, say the word"

Alice was completely done with this whole JFK obsession Diego had, he might as well marry the guy with how obsessed he was. But she guessed he was using it as a coping mechanism of sorts.

"Listen to me very closely, you gibbering moron. You are not going to do a goddamn thing."

"Why not?"

"Because one, it's reckless and two, we have more important things to worry about"

Alice said casually as the two siblings looked very suspicious whispering amongst themselves closely.

"There's a new apocalypse, It followed us. I've seen it. Nuclear war, Diego, in ten days."

Five warned, but it seemed like Diego treated it as a joke or crazy talk because he just chuckled and laughed it off when it was a serious matter.

"Stupid..."

Alice muttered out as she sighed in disappointment, seeing that Diego didn't believe a word they just said.

"Fine, I'll play along. What causes it?"

"I don't know. Maybe some looney-tuned asshole with a hero complex tried to save the president and screwed everything up."

"Ultimately causing billions of deaths, yeah great hero saving there."

Alice said sarcastically, as she cringed at Diego feeling proud at himself for supposedly 'saving the president'

"Okay, okay, I'll help you."

"Thank—"

"No, wait, he's gonna say something stupid"

" After I save Kennedy. And then you swing us back a few decades so I can slit Hitler's throat off with a butter knife."

Alice gestured to Diego as Five stared at his idiotic brother in disbelief.

"This is why you don't have any friends. You know what? Guard."

Five said as they both stood up from their seats and Five snitched on Diego. The guards held him down on the table as they inserted a needle in him.

Which caused Alice to wince a bit at the sight but she knew that Diego would eventually escape out of here with some help.

Five whispered something into Diego before grabbing Alice's wrist and leading them out of there.

"So, how about we meet Luther next? Come on the strip club is close around here I think"

"Strip club?......Wait didn't you say you worked in the same place as Luther?—"

A very confused and somewhat concerned Five said as he wanted to know what this meant.
