Alice woke up at the sound of people arguing down below, she sat up as she rubbed her eyes awake. Yawning she glanced at the people below through the window arguing about something ridiculous she assumed.

She spotted a small note on the table with a cup of coffee on top of it.

"Off to work, there's some casserole in the fridge that you can heat up"

It read, Alice smiled softly at how thoughtful she thought Autumn was. Grabbing the cup of coffee and taking a sip of it—she saw a light blue, long sleeved dress hanging on the cabinet.

Alice looked back at her still wet clothes from last night and sighed. Guess she had no choice but to wear the dress.

"At least it's a long skirted one—but I doubt that wouldn't matter to those guys"

Alice sighed annoyingly as she thought to that night, she swore that if those guys used her outfit against her she's gonna jump off a cliff at this double standard timeline.

"Alice! What are you doing here?"

Autumn said as she put out her cigarette as spotted Alice walking down the street, about to enter the club.

"You left your coat at home"

Alice said as she handed her the coat in her hands, of course she couldn't just come here without a reason so it was a good thing that Autumn forgot her coat.

"Oh thanks, I knew I forgot something—"

"Well what do we have here~"

"Is she new here, Autumn?"

Two men emerged and went up to them with smirks on their faces. It was evident in Autumn's face that she was annoyed by them as she quickly replaced it with a smile and went in front of Alice, as if she was shielding her.

"Sorry boys, but she doesn't work here."

Autumn said politely, but two men didn't seem to take a hint and continued to stare up and down at Alice—making her very uncomfortable.

"Oh come on, we'll pay her nicely—"

"Hey, didn't she tell you to back off?"

A familiar voice said as they grabbed the two assholes by the collar and pulled them away from Autumn and Alice.

"Oh thank you Luther, I thought they'd never take a hint"

"It's no problem Autumn, it's my job"

Luther said as Alice was about to approach him and talk to him but then Ruby came out and called for Luther.

"Oh, gotta go—Mr. Ruby's calling for me. You two stay safe—"

Luther said as he jogged right up to Ruby.

"Isn't he such a gentleman?"

Autumn said dreamingly as Alice playfully rolled her eyes at Autumn's obvious crush on the gorilla.

'Yeah, real gentleman of him to hit me in the head with a vase'

Alice thought as she was still upset about the whole Vanya incident, she glanced at the club Autumn worked at.

"Hey Autumn, are they looking for more employees?"

Alice asked suddenly as Autumn raised a brow at her question.

"I think they need more waiters, wait...you're not thinking of working here like me are you?"

Alice's face flushed at the thought of having to wear very revealing clothing and walk around letting guys check you out.

"No! Of course not! It's just...I feel bad that I'm living for free with you and I wanna earn money to help you pay for bills and stuff.."

Alice explained, like she would consider working a job like that—yeah over her dead body, she'd rather jump off a cliff before that happens.

"Well...the only waiter jobs that don't require walking around with little clothing here are for men"

Autumn said, as she said that Alice spotted a little wig shop across the street and an idea popped in mind.

"I think I can work with that"

"Alice please there must be another way"

"I'm sorry Autumn but I can't take it anymore"

"Alice please rethink this!"

"Autumn I'm sorry.........But I can't take the heat that comes with this wig anymore! I feel like my head's about to melt"

Alice whined as she was holding a pair of scissors, ready to chop her hair off and get a short haircut to pass off as a guy.

"But your hair! It's so long, it'd be a waste to just cut all of it off"

Autumn said as she pleaded at Alice while holding her shoulders like Alice is about to do something illegal or something.

"If it makes you feel any better, maybe donate it?"

Alice said jokingly as she proceeded to cut her hair, sounds of snipping could be heard as strands of her hair fell on the floor.

"Okay, how does it look?"

Alice said she tried to do a pixie cut hairstyle—and looking at the mirror she was glad it turned out good.

"You'd make a cut boy I guess—"

Autumn sulked as Alice chuckled at her expression and went to get a broom to clean the hair on the floor.

"At least I won't have to borrow your clothes from now on"

"My clothes looked cute on you though!"

"Autumn, I don't know if you've noticed but you don't really have a lot of clothes that cover a lot of skin"
