3rd P.O.V

Waking up with a groan, Alice managed to try and sit up as some glass shards were on the floor around her.

Her head hurt like crazy as she placed her hand on it and realized it was bleeding.

"Tangina mo Luther..."

Alice cursed in her language as she tried to get up and stay balanced as she tried to find the basement that Luther trapped Vanya in.

Finally finding it, Alice made her way downstairs as she held onto the walls for support.

"This is Vanya we're talking about, our sister. The one who always cried when we stepped on ants as kids."

"Yeah Luther....you're just escalating the problem here.."

Alice groaned as she held her bleeding head and glared at Luther as Klaus and Diego turned around.

"Woah! Alice! Are you alright?—"

"No, actually, cause your idiot brother decided to choose violence instead of talking it out like I WAS SUPPOSED TO DO!—"

Alice scolding as she glared at Luther, Luther sighed as he clicked his tongue while he glanced at Vanya.

"Look, she's dangerous alright? If I don't lock her up—she might, I don't know, blow up the moon or something?"

Luther reasoned as Alice just scoffed, running a hand through her now messy and bleeding hair in frustration.

"THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF YOU KEEP HER LOCKED UP IN THERE! SHE'S CLEARLY SCARED AND DOESN'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON LUTHER! ANY MINUTE NOW AND SHE'S GONNA—"

Alice's voice went mute again and this only piled up on to her frustration as she cursed herself.

Giving Luther one last glare, she walked past them and went to Vanya as she gave her a worried look.

She tried to calm Vanya down as best as she could, telling her to try and breathe or follow Alice's breathing.

"I'm gonna get you out of there, okay? I promise I'll—"

"You're not doing anything-"

Like some doll, Luther picked her up by the back of her collar and was about to throw her out of the room.

"PUT ME DOWN YOU GORILLA LOOKING—!"

Alice didn't get to finish her sentence as Allison went down to the basement as well. Trying to get Luther to let Vanya go as well.

"SEE!? EVEN ALLISON AGREES WITH ME! LET HER GO—!"

"She stays put"

Luther said as he used his arm to block Allison from getting to Vanya as he dragged both Alice and Allison away from her.

"No! She needs our help!—Vanya!"

Alice tried to get out of Luther's grasp but it was no use since she didn't even have half the strength that Luther has.

"You stay here"

Luther said as he threw Alice into Ben's old room and locked the door.

"No! Stop! You're only making the problem worse! We have to help her not lock her up! Luther!"

Alice tried to bang on the door and get Luther's attention but it was no use. She groaned as she walked around the room pacing around and figuring out how she can fix this.

Although it was kind of hard to think when you've got a bleeding

So she tried banging on the walls, hoping that someone was on the other end. And thankfully enough, there was and it was Klaus. He managed to unlock the door and let Alice out of the room.

"Sorry we didn't open it sooner, we waited for Luther to be out of view first"

Ben explained.

"Alice your head—"

"That's not important right now, we have to let Vanya out and talk all of this out before—"

A sudden loud thud could be heard from below as the house shook.

"Shit, it's started....."

The three went to find the others as Pogo told them to get to safety outside of the academy before the building crushes them.

Klaus and Diego went to find mom while Alice told them that she's gonna go and find Vanya.

"Wait hold on, it's too dangerous!—"

Ben said as he tried to persuade Alice to stick together with them before she got hurt further.

"This might be our only shot in saving the world! I'll try to talk her out of this!—"

And with that Alice got separated from them and went on to find Vanya. She tried to stay conscious, her untreated head starting to make her feel dizzy. But she didn't care about that now, she managed to find Vanya confronting Pogo.

"V—Vanya?.."

Upon hearing her voice, Vanya turned around—the glowing aura around her stopped for a moment as she saw Alice.

"Please....stop....y—you can end this.....we can help you—please Vanya it doesn't have to be this way..-"

Alice reasoned out, trying to keep herself conscious while holding onto a pillar for support. Vanya looked down, and Alice hoped to change her mind, for her to try and start over.

But it was too late, Vanya glowed white again as she threw pogo to the wall impaling him. Alice stared wide eyed as she witnessed the scene, then her body couldn't take it anymore and she passed out.

And with that Vanya left the Umbrella Academy mansion to crumble to the ground. But what's unusual was, she carried Alice to safety—outside of the academy and laid her on the ground as she walked off and left.

The others regrouped at a now destroyed academy as there were pieces of the buildings everywhere.

"Klaus! Come here, I found Alice!"

Ben yelled as he beckoned Klaus to get Alice some medical attention. Klaus called for Diego's help as they went to where Alice was.

She seemed unharmed, aside from her bleeding head—they wondered how she managed to survive and get outside the academy on time.

But they put those thoughts aside as Diego carried Alice while Klaus pulled out some cloth to help with her bleeding.

"Guys, This is it. The apocalypse is still—"

Five stopped as he saw Alice with her head bleeding and unconscious. He thought of the worse and went to her immediately as she checked her pulse to see if she was still alive.

"She's still breathing...did Vanya do this?"

"No it was Luther actually—"

Five gave Luther a deadly glare, as if he was about to kill him. But sighed as he spared one last worried glance at Alice before turning back to the rest of his siblings.

"The apocalypse happens today and Vanya is the cause of it"

*CRASH*

Alice stared wide eyed as she was too late in saving her sibling before he got run over by a truck.

Not caring about getting hit by a vehicle herself, she ran to him and went to his side.

"Remy?..Remy! I—I'll get help okay j—just hold on..-!"

"Alice...

Alice.....Alice....Alice!"

Alice bolted awake as she sat up with a breath, and surprisingly she wasn't dead—even though the last thing she remembered was passing out on a crumbling academy.

She looked around her surroundings and saw that they were in a bowling alley. She noticed some first aid kit supplies beside her as she looked up and saw Five looking worried at her.

"..Five?...What ha—"

Five engulfed her into a hug as Alice only sighed and let him hug her.

"I should have listened to you......I'm sorry—you could have died and I—"

"It's fine Five, you didn't know. And I'm still alive aren't I?"

Alice said, giving Five a soft smile as she assumed that Five stole these medical supplies from a store nearby.

"Getting back on track—"

Luther said—Alice only glared at him as she rolled her eyes at how he explained about their father's huge sacrifice to seemingly save the world.

"I hate to say this but I'm with Luther on this one—"

"Five, he's basically the reason why all of this happened! If he just didn't lock her up—"

"And risk everyone in the house getting hurt? It was the right thing to do at the time—"

"But Alice—"

"Hey uh guys, maybe I could help..-"

Klause tried to intervene, when Luther was about to tell him off Alice grabbed the nearest object beside her which was the first aid kit box and threw it at Luther.

"Doesn't feel too good having something get thrown at you doesn't it?"

Alice sneered as she let Klaus continue.

"Let him talk, he saved my life today"

"You did?"

"Yes he did, buuut?—"

Alice said as she tilted her head to Ben, indicating that Klaus should tell them.

"—but in fact the real hero was Ben. He was the one who also found Alice's body"

Klaus said as the others just stared at him not really believing what he just said.

"Is what he's saying true?.."

Five asked Alice as Alice nodded trying to prove that Ben really is here.

"Yeah, he's right behind us—"

Five turned around but he saw nothing there, Ben smiled at Alice—glad that she made at least another person believe Klaus.

Luther only called Klaus an attention seeker which sort of backfired cause Klaus countered back by telling them that Luther basically had furry sex.

This led to Allison walking out and with Luther following after her. Alice sighed as she leaned into her seat while Five tried to think of a plan.

"Excuse me, It's my son Kenny's birthday today and wouldn't your son and daughter be happier if they played with kids his own age? Assuming that it's okay with you two's dads"

Alice couldn't help but snicker at the woman assuming that Diego and Klaus were together.

A woosh sound could be heard nearby as Five turned his attention to it.

"I'll be....I'll be right back-"

Five told Alice as he went over to the bowling balls to see the tube message he got from the Handler.

Meanwhile Alice was holding on to her head, still feeling a bit dizzy but not so much as a while ago as Diego and Klaus talked about dating men.

She wondered how she got out of the academy, maybe.....it was Vanya?

Alice shook it off for now as she went over to Five to see what message he got.

"Did you keep the candy?"

"No, I threw it away when I pulled on the grenade. But it seems like she still managed placed one on me"

"Are you going to go?"

Alice asked, she thought that if she said it was a distraction her voice would go mute again. But she hoped that Five figured out that it's just a distraction.

"No, I won't—I left you once and you almost died. I'm not doing it again."

Five said as he grabbed on to Alice's hand and squeezed it comfortingly.

Alice couldn't help but smile softly at Five as he said that, it's been a while since someone actually cared about her.

A few minutes later, Luther and Allison came back and Diego asked if Luther even had a plan.

"Her power source is sounds, in other words music—she's still unstable with her powers so there's a chance that it may go haywire—"

"Five's right, what we need to do is just take away her power source, like the rod and try not to make any loud noises as sounds are her source of power"

Alice finished, but they didn't really get a chance to talk it out further as squads of masked people came inside the bowling alley and started firing bullets at all of them.

"Get down!"

Luther yelled as Five pulled Alice down behind the desks to take cover.

"Maybe they're here for Kenny's birthday!"

"Kenny must be really into action movies then!"

Alice yelled through the sound of gunshots as Five teleported away to take care of some of the shooters. Turns out Five being here came in handy as they managed to take out most of the shooters at this point.

"So what's the plan now Luther!?"

Diego yelled as Allison pointed at the lanes indicating a way for them to escape. When Five came back to Alice's side, Alice told him that they'll have to go through where the pins fall down.

Five nodded, grabbing Alice's hand as they just teleported while the others tried to avoid getting hit by the bullets as they ran across the lanes.

"I forgot you could do that—"

Five and Alice managed to reappear in front of an exit while they waited for the others to arrive quickly as they escaped from the bowling alley.
