3rd P.O.V

A knock can be heard at the door as Alice knew exactly who it was knocking at that door.

"I'll get it-" Five said as he stood up from his chair and went to open the door. Alice just stayed at the bar and maybe conversed with Dolores as she sipped her drink. Frankly the first taste was kind of weird but Alice slowly got used to it.

Now that she recalls that there was still something big that's gonna happen so she laid off with the alcohol for a bit.

Alice heard a faint 'come one' which she assumed was Five's voice as he led Hazel inside the mansion. Alice glanced at him and offered him a slight wave as Five asked if he was here to kill him.

"Oh, shit old habits"

Hazel said as he placed the gun back into his pocket.

"Well, I can understand how you might feel that way, you know..-"

"Well considering that you almost killed his family it's not a surprise that you might come here again to try and kill him so-"

Alice commented as she now took a sip of water that she just got. She then listened as Hazel started to kind of fanboy about Five's work in terms of assassinations.

"Hazel, why are you here?"

Five cut him off as he looked at him with a questioning look on his face. Alice would just say why Hazel was here so that he can be done and over with before Diego comes in and tries to wrestle him. But alas, the universe is a stubborn fan and doesn't want spoilers on their universe

Then finally Diego comes out of seemingly nowhere and kicks Hazel in the back then does a flip to kick him in the face this time.

"Aren't you gonna, you know—stop them?"

Alice asked as she turned to Five who looked like he was just watching a normal wrestling show live.

"Depends, did Hazel have anything important to say?"

"Well, yes but also no?—"

Alice said with a hesitant tone as she wasn't really sure if Hazel wanting to join Five to help stop the apocalypse is that important or not since Five did decline Hazel's offer before.

Then Diego took one of his knives and stabbed Hazel on the leg. Both Alice and Five winced at the sight.

"Oooooh, nice backflip-"

Alice commented as Diego did a backflip and kicked Hazel on the chin. Then he got on top of Hazel and bit his ear—guess that was Five's cue as he teleported behind the both of them and knocked Diego out.

"That was quite a show-"

Alice said, smirking at Hazel as she took another sip of her water.

"Hazel, whatever you came here to say, I suggest you make it quick"

Five said as he went back to sit next to Alice and took another sip of his drink.

"I left my partner and quit the commission to come and volunteer here—"

Alice thought it was quite sweet that this man risked being hunted down by the commission just for him to be with Agnes.

"Kakilig talaga..-"

Alice muttered out to herself as she thought that, placing the glass of water back on the table.

"What on earth could be so funny to you right now?"

Hazel said as Alice heard Five chuckle into his drink.

"Before I answer that, why do you wanna help us?"

"For love of course"

Alice commented as she gave Hazel a knowingly glance.

"Well, I hate to break it to you pal, but you're a day late and a dollar short"

"Well, we're not too sure really—"

Alice shrugged as Five gave her a questioning glance as he turned back to Hazel.

"—The mark is dead, found him this morning"

"Shit, really?"

"I suggest you go on ahead and profess your love to your donut lady."

Alice said she found Hazel and Agnes' relationship sweet—so she wanted for them to at least have more time together before the first apocalypse as well as her cancer.

"O—oh, alright"

Hazel breathed out in surprise as he sat next to Five and grabbed the mixer as he chugged the rest of the margarita.

"So now what?"

"To be honest, I don't know"

Five replied, looking absolutely clueless as to what to do next now that the apocalypse is over.

"I'm done with all this madness. Time to start over, and it seems like you've already started."

Hazel said as he glanced at Alice sitting on the other end of Five.

"Oh, uh—I guess having a new friend is a good start for Five"

Alice just quietly grabbed hold of her water and took a sip as a shade of red can be seen spread across her face.

"It doesn't have to be hard Five, just think about it. If you never time traveled and you never got caught up with the Handler, what would happen?"

'Hm, never thought of that—I don't know why but being a butcher popped up in my mind'

Alice thought as she let the two talk all of their problems out.

Hazel eventually placed two guns on the table to clear Diego's name and walked out of the house.

After a few minutes Diego eventually woke up with a groan as he looked at Five.

"Morning sleeping beauty"

Alice commented as she lifted her head up from the table after experiencing a few minutes of boredom once Hazel left.

"Where is he?"

Diego said, looking around his surroundings for Hazel.

"I let him go"

"You what?"

Diego said, and hearing from the tone of his voice he was not satisfied from Five just letting his victim go.

"Now that the apocalypse is over, it's time for the fighting to stop"

"Plus, we got more important things to worry about Diego. There's no point in making unnecessary enemies"

Alice said as Five tried to reason with Diego that Hazel wasn't even the one who killed Patch.

"I am curious, your girlfriend Patch. What did you like about her?"

Five asked as he grabbed Dolores off from the table and walked past Diego.

"A lot of things, cut bu—"

Suddenly an object was thrown at Diego but this time he dodged it instead of getting hit in the head again.

"Yeah, you finish that sentence and your getting another couple of minutes unconscious"

Alice warned as she did not want to hear Diego talk about his favorite physical features on Patch.

"Alight....she believed in people, no matter how much shit and filth she saw on the streets. She always saw the good inside"

"Well, I'm sure she'll be proud to know that you're killing Hazel and Cha-Cha as a way to honor her memory"

Five sighed as he walked off. Alice followed shortly after him, she knew where he was gonna go—but she really hoped that he could stay longer to help her with Luther.

"I'm going out for a bit, Hazel's right—I gotta start over."

"Alright, um—maybe come back quickly? Please, like I said we might not be too sure—"

Alice cut herself off as Five placed a comforting kiss on her forehead and pulled away as he looked at her.

"I promise, it won't take long and I'll be back before you know it"

Alice, somewhat flustered from the kiss, nodding hesitantly as Five went off and returned Dolores back to the shop.

Hearing the front door open, Alice stood up from where she sat and spotted Vanya walking in.

"Vanya!"

Alice said in relief as she went up to her and hugged her.

"Um, who are you?"

Vanya asked, confused since she has only been talking to Alice through paper and pens.

"Oh, it's me Alice—I became visible again and other people can see me now aside from Five and Klaus. It's so good to see you, I'm glad you weren't hurt. Allison managed to get treated in time so don't worry. "

Alice said as she smiled softly at Vanya. Vanya managed to smile back at Alice as she was happy that someone else was worried for her and that her sister thankfully survived.

"Vanya...?"

A new voice could be heard from above as both Alice and Vanya looked up the balcony to see Luther. Alice hesitantly stood in front of Vanya, somewhat trying to shield her from Luther.

"What happened?"

Luther asked as he walked toward Vanya, Alice felt uneasy as she tried to distance him from Vanya as best as she could.

Luther gave her a suspicious look, not really trusting Alice yet.

Vanya tried to explain that it was all an accident and that she didn't mean it.

"This is your home"

Luther said as he gave Vanya open arms for her to hug him. Vanya was about to hug Luther as she sobbed but Alice stopped her as she placed a hand on her shoulder and glared at Luther.

"We're.....we're all here for you Vanya"

Instead of Luther hugging Vanya, Alice hugged her instead as she let Vanya sob on her shoulder.

"Let's sit down while you wait, okay? You need some rest too"

Alice offered as she guided Vanya to the living room and let her sit there.

While Alice was about to follow shortly, something hard was smashed against her head.

And her vision suddenly turned black as the last thing she heard was Vanya's voice.
