Alice P.O.V

"Is he going to be okay?" Ben asked me, I nodded as we both stared at the half dead Klaus on the ground.

"Don't worry he's gonna be waking up in a couple of minutes" I reassured Ben.

That was until Klaus woke up with a deep breath, looking around a bit as he spotted us standing beside him.

"Welcome back to the land of the living" I said.

"Where's—uh—Where's Luther?" I pointed at the exit at the back of the club showing Luther making out with some girl.

"It seems that little Luther is gonna finally pop his cherry," Klaus giggled.

"Let's go, come on he's gonna regret this in the morning. But that's what comes with growing up I guess" I sighed.

"I kind of got a headache because of the obnoxious music and lights in here..." I said, holding my head. "What about Luther?"

"Don't worry he's gonna go home with his new 'girlfriend' later we only came here to save him and get answers from Reginald" I said as we walked out of the club and headed back to the academy.

As we arrived at the academy I went to Five's room to see Five on the bed with his injury treated.

'I tried to shield him from the explosion, if only I was a little bit faster'

I just sighed and pulled up a chair next to him and unconsciously laid my head on his side, the headache was getting irritating to manage so I slept it off.

I woke up in Five's bed which was weird because I remembered that I sat on the chair beside hi-

"Did you get a good sleep?"

I flinched a bit in surprise at the sound of Five's voice, he was in the chair I sat on last night.

"I moved you to the bed, you seemed uncomfortable sleeping on the chair"

I blushed a bit at the idea of Five carrying me again to move me to the bed.

"You didn't have to do that, you have a shrapnel injury, you shouldn't be carrying something heavy like me" I sighed and got out of the bed sitting up.

"You weren't that heavy, don't worry and same goes for you. You have a leg injury and if you slept on the chair your leg would cramp right now—so you needed proper rest too" Five said, walking up to me and petting my hair.

The gesture made me blush even more "S-sorry that was an inappropriate thing to do-"

"I liked it"

I said as I kept my head down trying to hide my blushing face.

'Why did I say that!? Now he thinks I'm weird....'

"Alright..." Five said and patted my head one last time before going downstairs for coffee.

As I walked behind him I saw that the tips of his ears were red.

'Is he also flustered?..'

We got to the kitchen to see Klaus pouring Luther some coffee

Five snatched the coffee from Luther's hands as he took a seat nearby.

"You won't like the taste of that"

Five then placed the coffee away as he heard my warning.

"So there isn't any easy way to say this but, I conjured up dad last night and-"

"Your dad killed himself" I said as I took the coffee Klaus made and sat on the floor so they wouldn't see a floating cup of coffee as I listened to Klaus' rambling about Reginald.

"Wait for it" I heard Ben say sarcastically.

"-He killed himself," Klaus finished.

Luther just looked at him, not really believing what he just said from the look on his face.

"I don't have time for this-" Luther said getting up from the table.

"Why'd he do it then?" Five asked, glancing at me for an answer.

I just gestured at Klaus assuming that if I said anything my voice would just disappear again.

"He said it was the only way to get ourselves home again," Klaus explained.

"But there weren't any signs, suicidal people exhibit certain tendencies and strange behaviors" I just rolled my eyes at this statement.

"How would you know..." I mumbled as I drank coffee.

"I swear to God Klaus if you're lying-"

"Master Klaus is correct"

Pogo said as he walked in the room, I immediately placed the cup down so he wouldn't see it floating.

"Regretfully I helped master Hargreeves enact his plan" Pogo explained.

"Grace was also apart of it as well, he thought that by doing this it might be the way to reignite your desire to be a team again"

"To what end?"

Five asked, looking at Pogo.

"To saving the world of course"

"First the moon and now this"

Luther said as he looked at Pogo.

That was when Luther was not calming down in any sort of way, "We were lied to by the one person in this house that we trusted!"

"It was your father's dying wish master Luther I-I had no choice.."

"There's always a choice."

Luther said.

"I need time to think.." Five said as he grabbed my hand and we spatially jumped away back to his room.

"How-...how would he know about the world ending?" Five said as he grabbed his clothes from his closet.

"Well he was a genius inventor and always thought ahead of time" I said as I turned around when I saw him unbuttoning his pajamas.

"What, did he have a special ability to see the future or something?" Five said as I felt a tap on my shoulder then I turned around to now see him fully dressed.

"He had many secrets that he kept from you guys Five. Maybe that was one of his many secrets that we have yet to uncover"

"Yeah maybe.."

We started to walk down the hall to Klaus' room, Five knocked on the door and walked into the room which I thought defeated the whole purpose of knocking.

"Get up we're going"

"Where?"

"To save the world of course"

"Oh is that all" Klaus said, putting down the yarn.

"So dad knew the exact time the apocalypse was going to start but how did he know?"

"Reginald is a very interesting specie"

"You say that as if he's not human, oh dear Alice"

That was when they both looked at me, oh shit I said something I shouldn't have..-

"I might have said something controversial," I said.

'Now they really want answers'

"What are you saying Alice? That dad's not human?"

I sighed and began to think of how to explain this.

"He's-" My voice disappeared again, I expected that would happen cause that sort of information would have to wait until they were in Dallas.

"Looks like it's preventing me from telling you, sorry" I said guilty that I was so close to providing them with valuable information but failed.

"It's alright we'll figure that out in some other way" Five said as he petted my head yet again as he walked out of the room.

"Ooh~ What's this? Does little Alice and Five have something going on now?~" Klaus said, teasing me.

My face may be a blushing mess right now but I just shook it off.

"No, we're just friends and besides after all of this I'm going back remember? " I said.

"But do you want to go back?" I heard Ben say,

I tensed up upon hearing this question.

'That's right, do I even wanna go back? I've always wanted to escape the miserable life I had back 'home' and now that I've finally escaped it.... do I wanna go back to being pressured by everyone around me, a life where I don't think I can even handle anymore?'

"I.....I don't know" I said as I left the room.
