''Why are you doing this Crystal? Why would you want us dead?''

''You know why Max! You left me for her. You never even cared about my feelings.''

''You were an abusive, manipulative monster. Amy saved me from being killed by Ruhan.''

''I know. That's why the Alpha wants her dead too.''

''What? Why?''

''After you broke my heart, Alpha told me she wanted you out of the way. She realised that the only way to get rid of you is to get rid of her.''

''Never.''

Crystal laughed. The sound fills me with fear. She would kill us easily, no regrets or anything. She has us trapped, there's no getting out alive.

Crystal takes another step forward, and suddenly there's a click, a slight hiss, and then another bomb goes off, throwing us back. Once the dust settles, I get up shakily and run over to where it set off. There's a massive crater quickly filling up with water from the exposed pipes, and next to the edge is Crystal. Dead. Just like that. Max walks up to me and looks at her body, then turns away. He's always been sensitive to death, and I know that somewhere he still cared for her, just a little, just like he does for everyone. I look away too.

In the distance three figures are crossing the debris field. One tall, one big, and one small. They stop, and then the tall one comes running towards us. Once they come close I realise it's Cyra

''Cyra, thank goodness you found us. There's this person called the Alpha and they're trying to kill us. Please-''

Cyra laughs, takes out a gun and points it at Max.

''I AM the Alpha. I've been looking for you Max. We've all been looking for you.''
