~ time: 5th period ~

''Just stay calm guys, I'm sure it'll be fast.''

Why would they call all the teachers at this time though? It was just break time. Something doesn't feel right. I'm the only one who doesn't trust this. It's probably gonna be fine.

Just as the teacher walks out, Andy gets out his ball. He's been playing with that thing the entire day now, almost as if he's obsessed with it

Time moves on

It's just before 11.30, and Andy's ball rolls out of his hand and out of class. He stands up without asking and goes after it. Just as the clock moves over, a string of explosions go off in the distance. People start panicking, I can feel their movement as the try to see what happened.

Suddenly, another set of explosions go off, this time a lot closer. Now people are really terrified.

And then

Everything changed

Time slows down as the final set goes off in our building. The walls fall around us, the floor crumbling under our feet. I try to reach out to Max, but he's too far away. Screams fill my head as the rubble engulfs us, crushing us.

But it isn't the voices that scares me the most

It's when they're not there anymore

The pain is too much

I can't do this anymore

I have to--

And then, all goes black.
