The White Rose

(Enjoy!)

I sighed, standing at the door of the entrance. Takashi and Mitsukuni told me to stay here, and wait for one of the hosts to come and get me. I don't know what they're planning, but I have the feeling that they've set me up for one of their sneaky plans. I sat down by the tree that was close by the entrance, slipping my ear buds in, and started to drift off to space, only being awoken when a hand was waved in front of my face. "Hey, Mitsuki, I wanna talk to you about something."

Tamaki's voice ran out through my head, making my head shoot up in surprise, trying to process what he was saying. I've always acted cold towards him, but that was because I had feelings for him, knowing that he would probably like someone with a better, sweeter personality then what I have. I stood up, saying, "W-What do you want, Tamaki?" I looked down on him, being taller than him, by maybe a head. "I wanted to talk to you about something, but it seemed like you were spaced out. Not falling for me now are you?~"

He teased me so much, but it was kind of like a trance, making my face go into a light, unnoticeable, pink. I rolled my eyes, and said, "N-No, why would you think t-that?" "Your blushing, Misaki!~ Are you sure that you don't like me?~" I went rigid, and looked away from him, huffing. "N-No! It's not l-like that!"

He chuckled and sat down by me, looking up at the sky. "So, I wanted to talk to you about the dance. Are you going with anyone yet, Mit-chan?" I sighed and shook my head, closing my eyes, replying back, "No, I-I'm not. I will choose after the dance, j-just leave me at my peace w-with my music, please." I felt him smiling at me, and heard him say, "Well, then how about it then? I will see you later today, Mit-chan! Bye!" He got up and left, like any other person would, but I felt a sense of loneliness in the bottomless hole of my heart, making me shake my head, and get up, going to class myself.

I sat down with the five women, one of them looking at me skeptically. "So, who are you going with?" "I heard that he doesn't have a date yet." "Well, I hear Tamaki Senpai wanted to ask him, but backed out." "No way! I heard that Tamaki actually wanted to sing to him tonight!"

I blinked, the rumors slowly in my mind, then they registered, and I blushed a bright pink. "W-W-What....? W-Where did you hear t-these rumors from...?" I said timidly, trying to cover up my blush with my non-emotional state that I always am, a tint of pink still on my cheeks. "Well, we heard these things from Tamaki himself!" "Yeah, when we were planning to give him some chocolates, he was talking to Kyoya Senpai, saying these things, are you two a thing?" I blushed a heavy red, stood up, and excused myself, hiding in the dressing rooms.

This is bad, very bad! I feel like I'm being lied to, but at the same time, I want to believe these things! Damnit! I shook my head, looking at myself in the full body mirror, seeing my flushed face, costume, and scratches. I closed my eyes and leaned against the wall, sliding down to floor, and sat there, not uttering a word.

"Mit-Chan? Where are you, I have cake!" Mitsukuni's voice ran through the room, and I raised my head, blinking twice. "M-Mitsukuni...hey." I said quietly, and he sat down by me, handing me the cake, biting down on his. "What is it, Mit-Chan? You sound a bit down." I began to put a piece in my mouth, and I thought for a moment, eventually sighing. "Mitsukuni. I want....advice on l-love...how do I-I win someone's heart...?" I said slowly and carefully chose my words, confused on the question myself, a confused expression on Mitsukuni's face also.

"That's easy! Be yourself!" He replied. Be myself...? Worth a shot.

I walked around the ballroom, sighed quietly, and went outside, leaning against the railing. Tonight was beautiful, with the full bright moon, bright stars...just magnificent. "Beautiful, is it not, my little blossom?" Tamaki said, leaning against the rails next to me. I nodded my head slightly, closing my eyes, the breeze hitting my face softly, and I sighed, saying, "W-Why are you so nice t-to me? I have given y-you nothing but trouble..." Tamaki raised his brows, looking surprised, and replied with a simple, "Because I love you, Blossom!"

I blushed a bright red and looked away from him, shaking my head. "N-No, you don't..." "Oh yes I do! Come, give me a hug, my cherry blossom!" When I didn't move, he hugged me around the waist from behind and rested his chin on my shoulder. "This is how it should be, my cherry blossom...just the two of us." I blushed another shade of red, and looked down at his hands, sighing quietly.

"..." I couldn't deny that I loved the attention, but it just didn't feel right at this time, or maybe it did and I just didn't want to admit it. Why do I over think things so much? I am such an idiot. "What's wrong, my blossom?" Tamaki asked, his breath on my cheek while he speaks. "I-It's nothing..."

"I know! You love me and you just don't know how to express it! Oh, don't worry, blossom, you don't have to show your love, as long as I know you love me!" He kissed my cheek, and walked back into the ball room, leaving me a stuttering and blushing mess.

(Tiny Time-Skip)

I was changing into the dress the Hitachiin brothers had their mother make for me, which was a pristine white short dress that reached right above my knees, with white floral long sleeves that reached my middle fingertip, along with a pair of white flats. It looked nice, but I was mostly worried about getting a stain on the dress, since I didn't really want to ruin something as pretty as this. I shyly walked out of the dressing room, blushing a bright pink, and looked down at the ground. I heard compliments on how great I looked in the dress, but then heard Tamaki's squeals, then arms squishing me to a chest. "T-Tamaki, p-please put m-me down..." I stuttered, blushing a darker shade of pink.

"Of course!" He set me down on the ground gently, and everyone knew who I picked, so Tamaki took my hand in his, and we went off to that date.

(Time Skip Past Awkward Drive)

We were at a fancy restaurant, no surprise in that. Tamaki decided to be a gentlemen, even if I insisted he didn't need to, and he did something later at the date, but I'll explain that later. I was looking down at my lap, a light blush on my cheeks. It was quite an awkward atmosphere, and two cups of tea were placed onto the table in front of us two. I looked up, snapping myself out from my thoughts.

"So, Mitsuki, how are you liking the date so far? Is it to your liking?" Tamaki asked, sipping on his tea, smiling a very bright smile, like his usual one. "Y-Yes, it is...thank you." I replied to his question, still blushing. "That's great to hear! Hey, after we're done here, how about we go to a secret place that I like to go to?" I was curious, so of course I obliged. We ordered and ate, like any other person that was there, obviously, and soon set out to the secret place Tamaki was taking me to.

When we were walking, Tamaki put his hands over my eyes and said, "I want this to be a surprise when we get there! Just wait for a few movements and we will be there!" Left...right...stop? I didn't hear concrete anymore, so we could either be on grass, or we were walking really quietly to get here. Tamaki took his hands away from my eyes to reveal a us under a willow tree, up on a hill, with the full moon looking down upon us both. My mouth went agape as I looked around at the wonders that were around me, then Tamaki asked me the most important question that anyone could ask me.

"Mitsuki...Will you please be my girlfriend?" Of course, I said yes, and this is where we usually met just to get away from everyone, just to be together.

How did I get such a wonderful friend to be with who is so trusting...?

(I got it done, thank the Lord! I'm so sorry it took me so long, you can throw a book at me or something, but I got it done! X') )
