"Law!" You call. The sound of gunshots catch your ear and you run for the sound. It was as if mayhem had come onto the once eerily quiet floor. Something large slaps onto the wall ahead and looks at you with a disturbing smile, mimicking gunshots. "You clever bastard.." You breathe.

"Law!" It mimics. You frown heavily and fire at it, walking backwards as it dodges, coming closer. You fire again but it dodges. A gunshot sounds behind you and you jump, looking back to see another one. Cursing silently, you take off down another hall, glancing back as they give chase, not leaving the walls.

"I hate aliens!" You shout, shooting over your shoulder and hoping to get one. Shouting ahead catches your ear and you almost stop, but they would get you.

You turn the corner, crashing into something. You instinctively bring up your gun. "Friendly!" The person gasps and you freeze.

"Usopp!" You gasp, hugging him. He stiffens more, pulling away when he spots the aliens.

"Mimics!!" He cries out. He suddenly tackles you to the ground as gunshots fill the hall. You look over as the mimics drop.

"Usopp! You okay?"

"You almost hit us!" Usopp snaps, sitting up with you. The brunette blinks at you and you blink back before a wide grin comes across yours and his faces and you jump up.

"Luffy!/___!" You cheer in unison, hugging eachother. He squeezes you to his chest, swinging you around slightly.

"I missed you! But what are you doing on this side? I thought you were with the group?" Luffy sets you down with a confused frown.

"They broke the door so I could get Law back." You look around at the group, recognizing Sabo, Ace, and Sai.

"Law? We haven't seen him." Sabo tells you.

"I'll find him, go down the hall and take two rights then a left. You'll find the door." You breathe heading down another hall.

"Wait! We'll go with you." Luffy says quickly, moving to your side. You offer him a grateful smile until a black and green dragon like creature appears in the hall ahead.

"Shit! It's a BlackOut!" Sabo shouts just as it roars, making the lights go out like a dark wave, leaving everything pitch black. You instinctively get down as gunfire erupts all around.

"Scatter!" Ace calls far behind you as everything starts to shake. What? You couldn't even see right now let alone defend yourself! Silently cursing, you back up to the wall, swiftly going along it. You feel a warm breeze brush over you and freeze.

Something huge was breathing on you. The dragon thing? You swallow, raising your gun carefully as you listen to it's breathing. More gunshots sound and there's a light breeze as the creature hurries on toward the sound. You relax a bit, heart pounding.

You didn't dare call out, moving along the wall as fast as you can, finger resting on the trigger as you press on. Come on Law, where are you? You move around a corner edging forward. And then you step over a ledge, gasping as you fall forward. A few seconds pass and you hit water. Lights flicker back on and you swim up, gasping for air when your head breaks the water. You look around the ledge you fill from far from your reach.

"Oh no no no..." You whisper trying to claw your way up. You feel the walls tremble suddenly and look around again until something below you catches your eye, large neon blue, spider like fish move below. You pale, pressing your back to the wall, watching the terrifying creatures below. So this was it? Before you could find Law again?

One of their eight red beady eyes spot you and it lunges. You're suddenly pulled out of the water, and you instinctively pull up your legs, narrowly avoiding the creatures grabbing claws. You gasp and look back at the being that held you with one arm. Your eyes widen, meeting the blue gaze of a lizard humanoid. It's scales were rigid looking, mostly green, except for the orange coloring at the top of it's head. It suddenly climbs up the wall with you, into a large vent near the ceiling.

You're set down and the creature steps back, dropping into a crouch. You blink at it carefully. "You saved me..." You breathe, looking it over, you pause, looking at it's attire. Your eyes widen, going to it's chin. You shudder slightly, sitting back and staring at it in shock. "Drake...?"

He looks away, touching his cheek. "I guess... This is Ophiuchus' curse..." He breathes, voice raspy with a slight hiss. You blink, and touch his cheek.

"Scales or no, you're still Drake," You smile, leaning over and kissing his scaley cheek. "You saved us." You murmur and pull back.

"You really are something else." He sighs, closing his eyes. You smile a bit, look him over.

"The scales kinda suit you though, exotic, yet appealing." You get up, offering a smile. "I'm glad you're alive Drake," You hug his neck.

"Same to you. But, now you're stuck." He murmurs.

"Not unless we can find Law and the others, before the team reaches the next level." You assure. He looks up at you unsurely. "Escape with me Drake. I'm not leaving you behind." You murmur, putting a hand on his shoulder. He stands up with a smile.

"Lets escape then." He rumbles.

You rush through the large vents with Drake, peering into halls but no signs of Law. "He couldn't have gone far..." You frown.

A gunshot nearby makes you change vents, hurrying to check out who it was. You blink peering down as Law is struck back by a creature. You gasp and jump onto the vent, making it fall on top of the alien. You lift your gun, shooting down the other alien that was primed to pounce.

"___..." Law breathes, and you look back at him.

"You went further than I thought." You quickly go over to help him up.

"You... Don't tell me you came back for me." He frowns, jumping to his feet. You shift guiltily, rubbing your arm.

"I don't want to escape without you Law." You murmur. He frowns at you but touches your shoulder.

"Are you hurt at all?" He asks.

"I think I'm good." You nod before looking up to the vent. "Alright Drake, lets go." You call up.

"Drake..." Law echoes, looking up as well. The lizard man peeks out before hopping down in front of you, glancing at Law uneasily.

"Glad to ssssee you alive.." He breathes to Law.

"... Yeah, you too Drake." He offers a nod.

"Alright... This way, we have to locate the others soon." You hurry ahead with them.

"The other survivors?" Law guesses.

"Yeah, we broke a door, so if we can get to Kid and the others before they complete their current floor, we can all escape together." You smile.

"Why didn't this happen sooner then?" Law huffs.

"I think its because the doors were wired differently." You respond.

"They were?" He raises a brow.

"Yeah, the door we found was one to vote off team members." You answer, checking your corners as your small group pass an intersecting hall.

"Of all the twisted..." Law frowns heavily.

"We'll be out of here soon enough." You murmur, touching his back.

"No... It wont be soon enough." He sighs.

"Thatsss true." Drake agrees. You chuckle lightly, smirking a bit.

"Alright, but still... I hope it's soon-" You turn the corner, instinctively lifting your gun as several others point at you.

"Oh! ___!" Usopp gasps as him and his little group lower their guns.

"Damn... I almost shot Ace.." You huff dropping your arm.

"Heh... Glad you're not your usual trigger happy self." He comments with a sweatdrop.

"I see you managed to find Law and... a new friend." Sabo hums peering at Drake.

"Actually, that's Drake. He got mutated by Ophiuchus' bite." You inform.

"You look so awesome...." Luffy breathes to the lizard man with glittery eyes.

"Im... Glad you think so." Drake murmurs.

"Alright, everyone here?" You ask, looking around.

"Yep, lets get to that door." Sabo rumbles. You pause and look around.

"Um... Drake." You look to him and he blinks.

"Yeah?" He inquires.

"You wouldn't happen to be able to retrace my steps would you?" You ask sheepishly. He blinks and hums, looking around, forked tongue flicking out briefly.

"This way." He responds moving on quickly.

"That's handy," Sabo comments.

"The tongue thing is weird though..." Law mutters. You see Drake's head duck at that and reach to touch his arm.

"I think it's really cool actually." You whisper. He peers at you and smiles a bit at that.

"Heh, you're too sssweet ___..." He breathes. You hug his arm briefly before you reach the icy corridors again.

"We're on the right track." You smile, and everyone speeds up at that. Soon Drake leads you to the broken door. You pause as a familiar man in steampunk man comes into view.

"Gladius..." Law growls. Gladius stops, looking over at the group.

"So this was planned.... Ah well, you're not going to do as you please." He breathes.

"That's funny, because we're about to." You hold up your gun as the others do as well. He growls, the forearms of his coat expanding greatly.

"What..." You mutter. He holds up his fist to your group.

"Get down!" Ace suddenly gasps, pushing his brothers and you down to the ground. The rest get down just before an explosion knocks everyone forward. You wince, ears ringing and your eyes go back to Gladius as his forearms swell again.

"Spread out the best you can! We'll make him pick!" You hiss to them before jumping up and charging Gladius. You could feel his glare on you and swiftly roll out of the way as he raises his fists. The blast sends you into the wall. You touch your ringing head, tossing a glare at Gladius. His other fist raises to you but Law and the others fire at him, making him pivot. Drake's tail wraps around you, swiftly pulling you away as another blast hits you.

"___!" Law calls back to you.

"Someone take him down please!" You respond holding your throbbing head, everything hurt now. Law grits his teeth, glaring at Gladius.

"On it." Law growls going for Gladius now.

"Come." Gladius rumbles, starting to expand himself.

"Law get back!" Sabo calls in horror. You blink back, focusing on the raven haired man. Your eyes widen.

"Law! No!" You shout.

"We're escaping," Law sneers to Gladius once he's in range. "Now, ROOM."
