"Ugh guys! I'm so sick of this!" exclaimed Coral. "I know, me too." said Garret, as Sadie crossed her arms. "Listen, we've come this far and we've gone through so much together. I think we should vote for ourselves and let fate decide." said Zeke.

The other three nodded. "Okay." sighed Sadie. Allison began calling the group up to vote. "Sadie." Sadie walked up and held up her card, she gave it to Allison and walked back.

Sadie: I'm terrified! I don't want to vote for myself but I'd rather that than vote for Coral, Garret, or Zeke.

"Coral." Coral did the same as Sadie. "Garret." Garret walked up, hesitated for a moment, and then gave his card to Allison. Zeke slowly picked up his card and did the same.

The four remaining waited in suspense as Allison shuffled the cards. Sadie let out a long, heavy sigh while Coral laid her head on Sadie's shoulder.

"Alright, the first person going into the challenge is...The Explorer." said Allison. Coral sighed loudly but nodded her head. "The second person going into the challenge is...The Savant."

Zeke looked at Coral. Coral looked at Zeke. The two burst into tears and hugged each other.

Zeke: I can't believe I have to go against Coral! She's my best friend!

Coral: Zeke is like a brother to me. I really don't want to do this. Somehow, even after killing Lucas, this is definitely the hardest thing I've had to do all night.

"I love you." said Zeke, as he hugged Coral tighter. "I love you too." said Coral. The two finally parted. "Alright you two, since Coral got picked first, she gets to choose her partner first." said Allison.

"Alright then. Sadie, will you be my partner?" asked Coral after thinking for a bit. "Yes, of course." Sadie replied.

Sadie: I'm nervous, I'm not gonna be able to live with myself if I let Coral die.

"Well then Garret, it looks like you're my partner." Garret nodded. "I will do my best."

"If you all will please follow me." said Allison, as she led the group down another flight of stairs and to a stone doorway with a swirling purple chasm between its sides.

Garret: So we have to travel to this "Dark Dimension". I mean, it's hard to get any darker than the Victorian Era with a Sorceress who's trying to murder everyone.

In front of the portal was a pedestal with a book and some candles. Coral picked up the book and read from it.

"This is a one way entry to the Dark Dimension. The first team to recover the gem will be protected by its guardian. The losing guest, but not their partner, will be sacrificed so that the others might return. The gem of power is hidden in the most unlikely place. Leave no corpse unturned or pool of filth untouched. There is a secret on the last page to give you on your return." Coral finished.

Sadie: I really don't wanna go around touching corpses and pools of filth, but if it's for Coral...I'd do anything.

Zeke and Garret placed the two twin idols in the little slots on the doorway. All of a sudden, the chasm stopped swirling, and gave passage to the other side. A man with a skeleton head appeared right before the guests stepped in.

"Oh my god." Sadie whispered. The four stepped in as the Dark Guardian closed the portal. "Ready?" asked Garret. The rest nodded their heads. "GO!" Everyone rushed off.

Sadie began looking under carcasses and corpses while Coral dug through a pile of bones.

Garret empires metal pales of blood and guts and Zeke checked in pools of who-knows-what.

Zeke: Ew! This shit feels like smegma!

Coral: I can't believe I'm doing this right now.

Garret was turning over tables, Coral was smashing pots on the ground. "Anything?" shouted Zeke. "No!" replied Coral.

Zeke was ripping drawers out of cabinets, Sadie was tearing apart the paintings, but still nothing.

Garret: We're looking literally EVERYWHERE and we can't find shit.

Sadie: I'm breaking skulls, I'm tearing out paintings. And still...nothing.

Suddenly, Coral threw a skull onto the floor..and out fell the gem. "I FOUND IT!" she screamed. "I GOT IT!"

Coral: I'm so relieved that I found the gem, but I realize that Zeke is gonna die.

Coral cupped her hands over her mouth as she began to sob. "I-I'm s-so sorry Zeke!" she cried. "Hey! Don't worry it's-" but the Dark Guardian grabbed Zeke and pushed him down.

Zeke: I'm so thankful that Coral won. Even though I'm about to die, I feel like I'll see her again soon. The others couldn't do anything to escape their deaths, so at this point...I just give in.

"Z-ZEKE! IM SORRY!" cried Garret as he tried to run towards him. "It's okay Garret! I don't blame you!" Sadie held Garret back while she sobbed into his shoulder.

"Survive! Please guys sur-" Zeke was cut off. The Dark Guardian has plunged his knife into Zeke's chest.

As soon as his blood hit the floor, the portal began to glow again, and the remaining three guests walked out, tears still damp in their eyes.

Sadie grabbed the book and ran back upstairs to the lounge.

Garret: I feel horrible. I know it wasn't my fault, but I still feel awful.

Sadie: This night is gonna scar me forever.

Coral placed the gem into the crown. "Okay so we have one left, the one from when Lucas died." she said.

"Yeah that's probably the bullshittiest thing that's happened all night." said Sadie. "Wait y'all remember it said there was something in the back of the book." said Garret as he grabbed the book and flipped to the back.

"Sometimes wizards lie to get what they want and they hide things in plain sight." read Garret. "Wait a damn minute." said Sadie as she walked over to the mantle. She picked up the compass that Serene had given them.

She opened it and inside was a green gem. "Y'all it was in the fucking compass the whole time." she said, exasperated. "Oh my god." exclaimed Coral and Garret slapped his forehead.

"Wait! We have all of them!" said Garret. Sadie slowly put the gem into the crown. The crown glowed, and then became still.

"You guys...we did it." said Sadie. "We can finally leave."
