"Again with this?" said Sadie, exasperated.
Sadie: This shit is getting real old.
"Discuss amongst yourselves." said Allison. "Wait so there's no cards? No voting?" asked Noah. Allison shook her head.
Noah: Well this is new.
"Guys listen, if we have to send in two people, it should be two people who haven't proven themselves yet." said Garret.
"I also think it should be someone who hasn't been in a death challenge yet." said Lucas.
Lucas: Out of the six of us, only me and Sadie have been in a death challenge.
"So that means Coral, Zeke, Noah, and Garret." said Sadie. "Prove your cases." said Lucas.
Noah: I'm really nervous because I have a higher probability of potentially dying! I don't want me or Garret to go into this.
"Well I think that since me, Garret, and Sadie's group found our item first, Zeke and Coral should go in." said Noah.
"What? Why? I think we've both been really helpful!" said Coral.
Coral: All of a sudden, fingers are pointing at me and Zeke!
"But what about Luca-oh." said Zeke. "Fine then, who votes that me and Zeke go into the challenge." said Coral.
Sadie, Noah, Garret, and Lucas raised their hands.
Sadie: I'm sorry Coral and Zeke, I just don't think you've pulled your weights this time.
"Alrighty then." Coral said, clearly upset. "Hey, it'll be okay." assured Zeke.
Zeke: Obviously I'm really upset that I'm going into this, I don't want to die!
Zeke and Coral walked over to the Guardian. They gave him the talisman, and he gave them a scroll.
"Along the path are five riddle boxes, each containing a key. To make it past the second guardian, you will need three keys. You must each walk the path separately, and only one of you will be able to gather enough." read Coral.
"You ready?" asked Zeke. "Ready as I'll ever be." said Coral. "I love you." "Love you too, good luck." they said as they hugged.
And with that, the Guardian moved aside and the two walked onto the path.
Coral ran to the left and Zeke ran to the right. Coral immediately found her first box first.

"Soul maybe?" said Coral.
Meanwhile, Zeke ran down the path and found a box in a tree.

"What the hell?" said Zeke.
Coral decided to leave her box and find another. "Oh!" she said.
"Ugh! These riddles are so hard!" said Zeke.
Coral: I don't even know if I'm going to be able to get ONE open!
"Wait Zeke! Do you think we should work together?" asked Coral.
"Yes! That's a great idea." he said as he ran over to her.
"Okay what does your riddle say?" asked Zeke.

"Ocean?" asked Zeke. "Wait a minute...loves to fall but cannot to climb...a waterfall!" said Coral.
"No! Try water!" said Zeke. Coral put WATER into the puzzle box. It opened. "Yes!" they both cheered.
"Okay! Next one!"

"Wait isn't that...teeth?" asked Coral. "Yeah!" said Zeke. He put it in and out came the second key.

"What?" said Zeke, scrunching up his face.
"Oh! It's heart!" he said. Coral put HEART into the puzzle box and they retrieved the third key.
"Yes! Finally!" said Zeke.
Coral: We finally get the first key and we're RUNNING towards the guard.
The duo finally reach the second guardian who was holding the Unquenchable Fire.
Zeke held the keys up toward him and he gave Coral the flame.
Lift High In The Air To Melt The Heart Of The Ice Witch.
Coral and Zeke passed the guard and continued on into the cave.
"Brrr it's really cold in here." said Coral.
The two keep running in until they come across a note and four stone tablets, each having the name of their friends on them.
"Chose the friend who you want to betray, smash their name upon the ground and the Ice Witch will be revealed." read Coral.
"No." said Zeke. "Absolutely not."
"This is awful!" said Coral.
Coral: We're both making it out of here alive, but we have to betray someone.
"I mean...who hasn't done enough?" asked Zeke. "I mean Sadie 'technically' list that challenge to Celestia." said Coral.
"Yeah, but she's been too helpful." said Zeke. "And Garret and Noah have done a lot." said Coral. "So I guess our only option is..." "Lucas." they said together.
Zeke: I feel so awful about this, but at the end of the day, it comes down to who has done the least, and unfortunately, Lucas is in that spot.
"Okay...here goes." said Coral. Zeke And Coral both grabbed the plaque that said LUCAS on it, and smashed it on the ground. Once it broke, they both screamed.
Meanwhile back at the gates of the path, the Guardian looked up.
Garret: I see the Guardian look up, and I'm confused.
The Guardian began to walk towards the group.
"Guys, Guys!" yelled Sadie.
Sadie: This bitch starts to walk toward us, and I have no idea what's happening. Then...he walks towards Lucas.
"What? No! No! What did I do?" asked Lucas, as the Guardian advanced towards him.
"No stop! No! Wai-" but the Guardian has sliced Lucas's stomach open.
"LUCAS!" yelled Sadie.
Back in the cave, Coral was crying onto Zeke's shoulder.
All of a sudden, the Ice Witch walked out.
Coral: The Ice Witch walks out, and she looked like Medusa had a brain freeze.
She began to blow her magic onto Zeke and Coral, but Zeke held up the flame and she began to melt.
The Ice Witch screamed in pain as she melted to the ground.
"Okay! Now let's get the gem!" said Zeke.
"Wait, where is it?" asked Coral.
"What do you mean?" Zeke asked, as he began to look around the area. No gem.
"Wait! There's a letter." said Zeke as he pointed to it on the floor.
"Your path is complete return to your friends." read Coral.
"Where's the goddamn gem!" yelled Zeke.
Coral: We DID NOT just sacrifice one of our friends for nothing.
"There's no gem." said Coral, as she hung her head.
"Great." said Zeke.
The two ran back to the rest of the group. "Guys! Lucas is dead!" said Noah.
"We know. We had to walk the path of betrayal and pick one of our friends to be sacrificed. In the end, Lucas just hadn't pulled his weight." said Zeke.
Sadie: Although I'm so horribly sad that Lucas is dead, I understand their reasoning.
"Okay, so where's them gem?" asked Garret. "About that..." said Coral. "We didn't get one."
"WHAT!" yelled Sadie. "That is such bullshit!" said Noah.
"I am sorry for your loss, but you have saved our entire land. And for that, I am forever in your debt." said Sireen, giving a little curtsy.
"This crystal contains a piece of my magic. May it serve you well."
Noah: Wrong kind of crystal.
"Go now, before the Sorceress returns here."
The group quickly walked away and out of the realm. They regrouped in the lounge.
"So we don't have the gem but we have this crystal." said Coral.
"Well is it just every man for themselves now?" asked Garret.
"No, we definitely need to work together." said Sadie.
The group nodded. "100% we do." said Zeke. "Well that didn't help Lucas." said Noah.
